Hi, I have bought new device. simpleRTK2B+heading - Basic Starter Kit - Headers soldered, I had tried to connect it to my laptop by usb cable. The device is on. It has 4 blue leds on, but the is no serial port visible in my pc. What should I do?I already had installed the u-center application with drivers. Still no success.
Amazing! This changes everything! I mean, to get a reasonable lock indoors (although you seem to be by a big window and the GPS data puts you up fairly high) is very impressive. What about correction data for other than New York State?
Most states have free correction data available now. Also most countries have them too. If you don't have access to one you can create your own with another simpleRTK2B board in a more traditional Rover/Base Station pairing. Here is a list of them in the USA. www.ngs.noaa.gov/CORS/ Here is a map of free stations in the USA: www.ngs.noaa.gov/CORS_Map/
Hi! This is a great and informative video, Thank you. However, I have a specific use case for which I want to use this Ardusimple. I have a bit of a doubt regarding the kind of set-up I need to use and there is no concrete information online. Is there any way I could get in touch with you, maybe e-mail, where I could describe my problem ?
There is a Virtual COM port connection from the SimpleRTK2B board to the Raspberry PI that runs over USB. Then we cast that comport connection bidirectionally over WiFi using the Raspberry Pi WiFi. Then on a Windows 10 PC in the same network, we give the IP address and port number to UCenter and it magically works just as if you are plugged directly into the SimpleRTK2B board directly.
