I took delivery of one of these yesterday. Setup and binding to my Spektrum iX12 was a breeze. Mine never got hot nor did I notice any hopping. I'm getting almost 4.5 minutes of flight time with my Pulse 220 mAh batteries. It's been a bit over 2 years since this video was made. How's yours holding up or do you even fly it anymore?
It’s still in good shape, but that is because I don’t try to fly it in Acro mode. I have made some outdoor and indoor videos with it. I enjoy it a lot!
Wish you compared it to the previous model(yellow) rather than the first one which doesn't even have a camera. Trying to get the differences between this and what I have. (yellow fpv version)
+Mike Fas I wish I could have too Mike. I do know this is lighter, has a better camera/RX setup, and more powerful motors like I mentioned in the video. It also has a more durable frame. I hope that helps :)
I used to work for Ray Jeff, Marine electronics. The envelope for our manuals had INSTRUCTIONS in large bold type and in tiny type above the word, "When all else fails, read these"... LVC on all my other Blades started with flashing lights - that has nono? Otherwise, from the instructions: Once the battery reaches 3V under load, the ESC will continuously lower power supplied to the motor until complete shutdown occurs. This helps prevent over-discharge of the Li-Po battery. Land immediately once the ESC activates LVC. Didn't really look like a soft shutdown, either - was that the stock battery? Perhaps after more charges. COOL STUFF GB!!! ........................................... bill
+Bill Flynn Thanks Bill! It lost power but the actual shutdown was less than gradual. I am just going to use the timer and pay close attention to power loss. It is pretty neat though!
This one is good and so is the Blade Inductrix FPV Drone, which is less expensive. I do completely love my FPV Pro a lot though. I have outdoor and indoor flight videos of it up on my channel.
Yeah, but you can't see in the video who makes them or where you can buy them. I would love 220mAh just for a little longer flight time. All I have at home right now are 150s.
Good question and I did not. I just buzzed around inside for a few flights and then let it loose outside. I know some people are OCD about that sort of thing, but motors like these are hit or miss. Most of them are hits, so I say let er rip like I did :)
Nice video but I'm super disapointed in this Inductrix Pro. My setup is exacly as the manual shows (confirmed by other more knowledgeable hobbysit than I am) and as soon as I give it a bit of forward movement or some angle, it' litteraly crashes to the gournd.
It sounds like you're in Acro Mode. I haven't been able to figure out how to fly it very well in there mode either, though I haven't tried very hard as I have other Acro quads to fly. SAFE Mode is a ton of fun, so that is how I fly it.
Sorry for a reviving a dead comment but try adding expo to the acro mode on your tx or betaflight. I've heard good things about it smoothing everything out and allowing you to really throw it around. I've noticed it doesn't have enough umph to pull itself out of any real acro fun. Good luck and happy flying!
+DutchRC Adventures Thanks brother! I really felt good about being about to include FPV footage in this one. I am pretty surprised that as many people have given a thumbs down as they have so far. I guess the bigger I get the more haters I gain lol I also agree with you about the blue shell. I will have to do that for my outdoor flights :)
GBLynden's RC I’ve only got 3 modes on mine. And need to for all of them. Maybe it’s something that they have changed. Got mine last week. Great little Quad .
Ahhhh I see. I was comparing them from the listed specs when I was calling out that information. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I have so far. It is a good one :)
i like the original better but thats mainly the FC thats stock the rest i upgraded. the new pro seems sluggish and underpowered even with 19000kv motors
Both are toys and both are hobby grade. The cheap is also hobby grade cause their just clones basically identical I could put part from the blade into the poke. So you to define the word hobby grade?. Just because it's cheap it does not mean it's not a hobby grade man. The poke I could install upgrade parts and the would work so to me it's hobby grade none the less man.
It is a bit of a subjective definition, but the Poke is still toy grade to me. The good news is the lines are starting to blur as even the toy grade stuff is solid quality. The horrible radio and different flight characteristics are a few of the reasons why I believe the Poke is toy grade. You do make some good points, which is why I liked this post and gave it a heart.

ive had it for a few days now and it is soooo much fun.
I crashed it a lot and it proved to be prety duarable.
+Benji Eudeline I like mine a lot too! I just uploaded an outdoor FPV video with it a few minutes ago.
Why didn’t you show the binding?
Good question. I try not to make these videos too long and have to omit certain things. I am happy to help if you need it. What radio are you using?
GBLynden's RC thank you for responding. I have a Spektrum DX 6e. Any advice would be helpful. It binds butt does not spin up.
Wish you compared it to the previous model(yellow) rather than the first one which doesn't even have a camera. Trying to get the differences between this and what I have. (yellow fpv version)

GBLynden's RC awesome. Thanks for the info!
+Mike Fas You are very welcome Mike!
The Yellow FPV is a good little Quad . But the props stall like a beggar. This one. Less so
I'm having trouble getting my Inductrix pro to arm on my DX6e. I have it set up just like the manual says
+Cory Michaels I am not familiar with that radio. Did you bind it properly?
Is there any way to fly this with a flysky receiver?
Not something very simple. At least not that I am aware of at this time.
GBLynden's RC thanks. I picked up a spectrum.
does this come with a built in reciever and if so, does it connect to a taranis x7
I does come with a built in receiver but it only works with DMS2/DMSX radios.
I used to work for Ray Jeff, Marine electronics. The envelope for our manuals had INSTRUCTIONS in large bold type and in tiny type above the word, "When all else fails, read these"...

If I am looking for my first fpv drone that I can just fly indoors to practice and don’t have any equipment for drones would this be good for me?
This one is good and so is the Blade Inductrix FPV Drone, which is less expensive. I do completely love my FPV Pro a lot though. I have outdoor and indoor flight videos of it up on my channel.
Thanks I will look into both
Another great review. Well done Bud.
Thank you so much my friend! :)
Did you hook it up to beta flight before flying?
+X-FLIGHT101 I did not. It flies great right out of the box. It is nice to be able to make adjustments, if needed, but I didn't see a need.
GBLynden's RC thats handy, might pick one up or save for the torrent ;)
That really cool
+Robert Kiadii Thanks Robert! I really like it too!
What is the battery like on this quad?
It is a 1S battery. I use 220 mAh lipo batteries with mine.
Yeah, but you can't see in the video who makes them or where you can buy them. I would love 220mAh just for a little longer flight time. All I have at home right now are 150s.
pretty cool bro
Thank you very much! :)
I need one of those for my first fpv lil racer, thanks for the video
It is pretty nice! The other ones I show in the video work pretty nicely too.
Did you break in the motors? I assume you just didn't film that part. Cool review man, waiting for mine to come in the mail.
Good question and I did not. I just buzzed around inside for a few flights and then let it loose outside. I know some people are OCD about that sort of thing, but motors like these are hit or miss. Most of them are hits, so I say let er rip like I did :)

GBLynden's RC I might give that a try! Thanks for the tip.
You are welcome! What radio are you using?
Spektrum DX6

Is the Inductrix Pro compatible with the Turnigy Evolution (ie if you use BetaFlight?)
I don't think it does. Betaflight isn't going to change the receiver protocol either way. It requires DSM2 or DSMX.
Excellent review buddy :) I allso like black things :D Don't lose it in grass though! Outdoors I'd probably slap that bleu canopy on there :)
+DutchRC Adventures Thanks brother! I really felt good about being about to include FPV footage in this one. I am pretty surprised that as many people have given a thumbs down as they have so far. Cool!
+Derick Aquino Thanks man!
do you know what firmware this uses? Looking to flash to cleanflight?
thanks
+08ds I do not, but I do know it is designed for Betaflight.
I think it comes with betaflight, but you should be able to flash cleanflight no problem.
How did you set your transmitter up im haveing a major struggle
I just followed the manual. What kind of radio do you have?
GBLynden's RC i have a dx6 but i figured it out thanks fpr the reply i love this thing soooo much power
+Joeylaps610 Awesome!
im buying one of these tomorrow. what did you use to record the camera's output?
+Arokh B. I used the DVR from my Fat Sharks.
noise is not a con imho
+Juan Pizarro That is fair. In person it sounds like something is off rather than just being noisy.
No one mentions the requirement to "Arm the Motors "
That is because you don't need to in most modes.
GBLynden's RC I’ve only got 3 modes on mine. And need to for all of them. Maybe it’s something that they have changed. Got mine last week. Great little Quad .
Tim Holyoake it’s Blade. Everything is setup for Blade systems
good review but its not lighter:/
Thanks Mike! I made this video quite a while ago, so I am not sure what you mean by it's not lighter. I am curious though :)
i recently got into tiny whoops and weighed both the original fpv and the pro and the pro is wayyy heavier
Ahhhh I see. I was comparing them from the listed specs when I was calling out that information. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I have so far. It is a good one :)
i like the original better but thats mainly the FC thats stock the rest i upgraded. the new pro seems sluggish and underpowered even with 19000kv motors
nice
+Smashie Thank you Smashie!
