The whole Eloise and Penelope relationship that you mentioned in the beginning is so real. In the books Penelope calls Colin the love of her life but says that Eloise is her soulmate so truly has two bridgertons at her feet

I think all deep relationships don’t need to be romantic or sexual. Penelope and Eloise can totally be soulmates and not be romantic partners.
