August was at the funeral because he is Wilhelm's cousin/ family. About the football field scene, Wilhelm at this point doesn't know where Simon lives & this is the same field that he went to watch Simon's friend play soccer so it was the closest he could get to him. Simon riding the bike was probably not too far. This scene was also improvised. What a touching moment especially that hug Wilhelm gives Simon and that song🥹

I don't like August and my opinion on him hasn't changed, I'll leave it at that to stay away from spoilers. There are positives and negatives with both Wilhelm and Simon. Wilhelm is a spoiled brat sometimes, but he's also got a lot of anxiety and that was before Erik died, now it's so much worse. He has absentee parents who only remembered they had a second son when he got in trouble with the fight. Then their first idea was to send him away when that wasn't what he wanted. Now on top of all that he's trying to figure out his sexuality and grieve the one person in his family that gave a damn about him and was there for him. Erik was the one that took him to school. Erik was the one to call him on Parents day. So now he has all the stress but none of the support. Simon while he's very talented and sweet, just like with Wilhelm and his fight at the beginning of the series, we see with his fight with August, he has a temper too. Two teenagers with tempers are going to be very interesting together. I think Simon's biggest fault is he doesn't think things through. And while he's not as naïve as some people he takes people at face value a lot and that gets him into trouble. I laughed when you started talking about Alex. I can't say anything just that I can't wait until the next episode. If you're angry now, you're going to be apoplectic then.

The actor playing Simon is Omar Rudberg. This is his first acting role. Before acting he was famous for being in a boyband opening for Bieber and NSYC. His real voice is used across the entire series and he is releasing and touring currently. He just released a new song yesterday. Stick with the show just gets better and better across the 3 seasons. Remember all the actors voiced the english dub themselves. The actor that plays Wilhelm is the most experiences of all the youth actors and has been in loads of swedish movies and series. And he has the most "American" accent of all of them. Then I suggest you add the Norwegian show SKAM to your watchlist. You wont regret it.

Simon's trying to protect his sister from August predating on her for her meds - so he's trying to direct August away from her by agreeing to get him meds.

Sara is a year older than Simon and had to repeat a year because she missed school when she was bullied in her previous school - it's implied that it was because of her autism. So no they're not twins.

I did NOT see Erik's death coming. And it's funny because a lot of people realize it once the other kids start whispering, but even then, I thought someone had seen them kissing and there was gossip about it or something. Definitely did not think anyone had died. 😅 Also, don't know if you got that, but Sara has Asperger's (an old-fashioned term for a "form" of autism, not really in use anymore), which is why she was so brutally honest. She just didn't know she wasn't supposed to say anything and couldn't pick up on the social clues.

I feel like while Dexter was being rude and obnoxious in this situation, he was also speaking facts. Emma got into teaching to avoid doing her true passion writing cause it made her feel uncomfortable and bad , but if she just works through it she can write great novels. She does need to work on finishing what she started. And honestly, I think Dexter did Make a point in calling her out and saying that she’s not where she wants to be with her career and she is just avoiding it by teaching. He made it happen by being rich and famous and Emma should not mock and look down on him (mocking him that he can’t write a review for cocktail bars, etc) and he actually achieved more than she did. However, I really believe he should have said this in a MUCH kinder way and advices her rather than call her out-wrong time to bring it up
