I have a week old baby. She absolutely loves this. Sometimes she just cries and cries and there is nothing to be done. After some trials, I found this channel. I put this on and walk around the room with her. It seems to calm her down. I've also sung to her a lot. That also works, but my throat is getting sore so it's nice to get help from RUclips.
I really should get a banjo myself, I've played guitar for years. I got a tele for the twang, but nothing can match the banjo in that department.

*Folks often said space was the final frontier. Now, more than ever, I feel the truth of that statement. Out there, with no help around for millions of miles in all directions, all you can rely on is yourself and the folks nearest to you. So long as you're assuming they ain't pirates of course. Anyhow, I'm out here in the wild black yonder with a crew, hunting for ores and minerals; hoping to make some money. We find ourselves on a rock that has an atmosphere, but can't be breathed in. Despite that, the nights here are so lovely that we can't help but set up a little fire outside our base. We sit in our suits around the fire, pretending to be like desert campers back on Old Earth. Mathias, that old miner who swears up and down his ancient ancestors were mountain folks in some place called Appalachia, strings up a old banjo. Its a old family heirloom, or so he says. Either way, he sure knows how to play that thing.*

I'm an avid hiker and photographer in the Appalachia region of the US. This music fits so well with how I feel about these forested mountains. They're places of quiet contemplation. An oasis of serenity in an ever noiser world. Though bathed in shade, the shadow is never menacing. And when you find a particularly dark night, you should look up because you will see the stars shining; more bright and numerous than you ever thought possible. You will simultaneously feel small and yet at peace with where you are in the universe.

Met an old wanderer once. Says he forgot his name a few planets back, and why he was wandering, but to him it didn't matter.
The stories he told me could've made a dozen children or so look up on wonder, or bring a tear to a mother's eye as she worried about her daughter or son out there, making a living. Hell, I got misty-eyed myself, but i blame that at being at the bottom of the bottle.
As I thanked him for the stories and asked where'd we meet next, he simply winked and said,
"When the time's right, I s'pose. Doesn't mean much though, there's always more stories to experience."
The scary thing is though.. I think I saw the stars sway ever gently with his chords as I went back to my ship. I had heard the stories of folks being one with the stars, but him...
I think the stars just told me their life stories.

As the harvesting unit began it's haul back to it's charging station under the massive transparent dome that housed a sugar cane field, a figure clad in farming attire strolled the machine shed casually strumming a banjo, the ancient musical instrument synonymous with the pioneer spirit that brought the farmer here, he marvelled at the lunar landscape beyond the dome. Two hundred years since his species set foot on the once barren satellite, now lush with the progress of agriculture. His species of sugar cane was specifically modified to grow and be harvested in one Lunar cycle, the last harvest hopefully being enough to reset the field and grow again. A device in his pocket chirped to life with a single message, "Payment received. Congratulations on your second successful year!" As the farmer looked at the amount his heart swelled with a large sense of accomplishment. A quarter of a million credits! More than enough to plant again, upgrade the life support systems and send his two daughters to the best school on Earth's only natural satellite. In celebration he took a swig from the flask given to him by his wife on their first anniversary. "We made it, My Love. Keep us going, if you have any pull up there." He took another swig from the flask after toasting the stars and his lost love, gone too soon. "We made it."

It really all is just music and dancing.
Step by Step. Note by Note. In polarised alternating periodicity.
Don't forget to bring a banjo.
    I'll do the dancing!

This music is very relaxing and inspiring. It reminds me Metro 2033

I like playing this exact song when I go camping in Fermi Crater on the far side. Best time to visit there is during lunar spring when all the moon flowers start blooming. Bring some allergy meds though; most people are allergic to the pollen.

is there a LOOP feature?? i have been waiting to listen to this video for a few weeks now (i am one of those monsters with fifty tabs... i'll get to them all eventually) and I FINALLY got to this one. And oh my GOOD GOD if i could just have this first trap playing constantly i feel like I could finally write a masterpiece.
I also occasionally work at a Living Museum with cabins that are almost 200 years old, I get to actually stay in them over night to help with demos during weekend events. I like to hide a speaker on the fireplace mantle and play some kind of soothing ambient background music to help set the vibe for the tourists who come in and out. Normally it's just old 1930s era blue grass. BUT I will most definitely have this playing from now on. it's just too perfect.
