sick emonda and I love the black paint with the thin frame. i have an entry level trek with a a pretty flexy frame. wish I could replace it with an emonda frame.

The brakes on this bikes are also interesting... aren't they what Shimano called "direct mount" rim brakes ??? The bike I am riding now is a Giant TCR (rim brake) from 2021. Superlight carbon bike, which is nice.

These are what Bontrager calls direct mount brakes. They work really well.

when you bought it on ebay, how did you know if it was brand new? Did you take the private sellar word for it ?
I look into seller history, and reach out about the product before purchasing.
It is my understanding; trek is dropping the Emonda. I am kind of disappointed about that.
