I think the issue with the sequel trilogy (aside from having to guiding storyline planned ahead which obviously dooms the whole thing from the start) was that it picked up way too late in the timeline to make sense. I mean, we've got 5 minutes of flashbacks at best to recap the events of the last decade or so that led us to this situation. To compare it to legends, that would be like starting it with jacen solo already turned to the darkside and dropping everything that happened before that, including the murder of luke's son, in 5 minutes of flashback. It would've been far better if the trilogy picked up at the moment where kylo is turned to the darkside, with the first movie ending with the burning of the temple and the takeover of the first order. Then, the second movie would follow poe and finn (no rey here as we don't have time for this storyline, but she can be added in later), with poe as one of the most promising members of the resistance being sent in a mission to find a way to destroy the starkiller base that would've been revealed at the end of the first movie. Finn, like in the sequel trilogy is a stormtrooper of the first order, but his brainwashing was imperfect and he slowly realizes how awful his and the other teoopers' situation is. Meanwhile, luke, han and leia are trying to find a way to bring ben back to the lightside. In the end of the movie, poe is captured by the first order, but finn helps him escape. The two are confronted by captain phasma that would've been much more established as finn's mentor. It's a difficult fight, but the two manage to take the upper hand until kylo ren shows up. At the same time, the resistance comes to attack the first order base to liberate poe as he has the starkiller base plans. Thus, luke, han and leia show up in front of ben. All try to talk him out of his corruption, but since we've spent a movie exposing the pressure he felt in his family and that luke was forced into behaving as a hero, not as an uncle, all this is for nothing. The scene ends with the same bridge scene as in the sequel trilogy, but instead of han dying, leia dies (I'm only doing this with the benefit of insight, knowing that carfie fisher would die before the first film, but it really doesn't matter who dies between han or leia here). They manage to escape with the plans, but it is now clear that kylo has completely fallen to the darkside and that he must be taken down. The third movie focuses on the starkiller base raid. Luke and han are devastated by the loss of leia and are determined to end this once and for all, no matter the cost. Luke prepares himself to face snoke and kylo, while han is leafing some border line terrorist attacks to weaken the first order before the big attack. With internal divisions between the old generation and new generation of the resistance growing (since the new generation wasn't as attached to leia, so they condemn the actions of the old generation), poe is forced into a more mediating role. He sends finn in a mission to start a rebellion among stormtroopers to help the resistance. Meanwhile, there are tensions between admiral hux and kylo ren, as they are opposed on the way to deal with the resistance. Finn infiltrates the starkiller base and with the help of phasma who had time to rethink everything after being bullied by kylo in the last movie for having let them escape, he learns about the tensions among the leaders of the first order, and uses that as further leverage to turn the stormtroopers. They lead a ground attack to turn off the shields of the base to allow poe, han and the rest of the fleet the opportunity to attack. Meanwhile, tensions are as high as ever in snoke's throne room, when luke enters it, having stayed hidden the entire time, but having infiltrated the base with finn. He quickly knocks out hux before battling both kylo and snoke at the same time. After an epic fight, where kylo's will and commitment to the darkside is tested one last time, the base is struck down by the fleet, splitting the ground between luke and his opponents. While luke goes offscreen, snoke berates kylo for not being able to kill his uncle. Kylo has had enough and betrays snoke, killing him in front of hux who is just waking up. He leaves hux to die and runs through the snowy forest, trying to find a ship to escape (I could've realistically ended things in the throne room, but I really like the snowy forest setting). He is then confronted in a final duel with luke, where he tries every dark trick he has, also cutting down trees to try and slow down luke, even throwing lightning at some point in a desperate attempt. But, nothing is enough to stop the legend luke skywalker and he strikes kylo down, killing him after much hesitation and telling him that he is sorry for having failed him. At the end of the movie, han somewhat angry at luke for having killed ben, but the anger mostly comes from sadness, leaves him on ach to, as luke decides to go in exile to find peace after killing ben. Han decides to go back being smuggler, saying that he'll probably try to find lando again. Poe and finn are now mediators for peace between the new republic and the remants of the first order
To add in the sequel trilogy to this alternative version (assuming it works well enough to make a sequel sequel), the story picks up at the same time as the sequels did, with rey on jakku fighting to survive in this harsh environment, and being haunted by dark visions. By exploring the planet, she ends up finding the secret laboratory of palpatine where he reunited his most trusted advisors to plan the cinders protocol. Unknown to her, this sends a signal into the unknown regions. Following this signal, we end up on korriban, the lost world of the sith (I know it's supposed to be exegol, but I just like korriban better). There, we see someone in a bacta tank being woken up, and it is snoke. He orders some hooden men to investigate the signal. Later, the hooded men arrive on jakku and start a path of destruction in their quest for answers. They all possess a red lightsaber, but they don't appear to be masters in the darkside, merely apprentices. Rey is forced to escape off world for the first time in her life. She eventually bumps into han, chewbacca and lando, the best smuggler trio of the galaxy. She is informed that the same hooded men have appeared everywhere in the galaxy, and that it looks like the invasion of the first order all over again. She is absorbed into a vision again, showing her stuff like order 66, palpatine and plagueis, and the death of leia. Han decides to bring her to maz kanata and finn. Despite none of the two being force senwitive, they both believe in the jedi as a symbol of hope and started their own "order". There, rey is introduced to the new jedi, and finn who helps her understand more about her visions, having collected many old jedi books to teach his students. The movie ends with the battle between the hooded men and their troops and the new jedi order. Finn gives her luke's lightsaber (the green one, not the blue one as I don't want to loose time on this topic) that he gave him before leaving in exile when he learned his project of creating a new order, and he tells rey to go on planet krayt, as it is there that luke is currently residing. She then goes there with the survivor jedi and the movie ends with her presenting luke his lightsaber. Right before this final scene, we go one last time on korriban, where snoke adresses a figure in the shadows, telling them that they found the girl, and the figure responds with his signature laugh. The next movie picks up with luke taking the lightsaber, but instead of throwing it away (so disrespectful to the saga as a wholdme, I don't known how anyone in their right mind could've greenlit this scene), he simply gives it back to rey, saying that he will not fight, but inviting her to follow him. We learn that he somewhat made peace with his actions and dedicated himself to the balance of the force, vowing to never touch a lightsaber again. He however, is willing to teach her about the ways of the force to prepare her for her own journey. While she completes her training, the movie cuts back to the rest of the conflict, with the forces of the new republic trying to fight back against the invasion of the dark forces, the new jedi at their head. But, the forces are slowly losing ground, and the jedi are captured. They are forced into a ship where we see all the other jedi that were thought to be dead at the end of the first movie. They are all taken to korriban, where we see snoke ordering them to be taken to the altar. They are dragged to a room with strange carvings all over the ground. There, another snoke is waiting for them, and several other snokes also arrive on the scene, one of them going to the center of the room to put a small red crystal pyramid on the altar. Something that finn, that was also captured with the jedi recognizes as a sith holocron. The ghost of palpatine emerges from the holocron, telling finn all about his plan and revealing the truth about snoke being a cloned servant. He ends with telling that he needs to get rid of the last light before his return. We cut back to krayt, where we see rey creating her own lightsaber. She wants to dual wield two lightsabers, one being luke's lightsaber to remember about the past, and another one being her own, her own light to face her darkness a.d her visions. Then, the planet is attacked by all the dark forces and even some snoke clones. The surviving jedi put up a valiant fight but are slowly getting defeated. Rey fights bravely, but is constantly held back by a lingering feeling of uneasiness, as if she knew snoke despite having never seen him. She is eventually pushed back to the mining facility where luke is meditating. He wakes up, and grabs his lightsaber from her, telling her in an enigmatic way that despite her darkness, she can become the new light of the galaxy, also telling that he will break his vow to make sure that she can bring balance back. He sends her to ach to, the homeworld of the jedi, telling her to find her way to the heart of the force. He then faces all the dark forces, showing one last time what an absolute legend he is before passing away. The movie ends with a dark ritual on korriban during which all the captured jedi are sacrificed so that palpatine's ghost that is emprisoned in the kyber crystal can be set free and avle to use his powers. He then proceeds to shoot lightning at finn, while revealing one last thing, that his power will be unlimited once he gets a new body, and that he knows exactly who he will possess, his grand daughter that finn had the courtesy of training for him. In the final movie, rey reaches ach to, where with the help of former jedi ghosts she manages to open a portal to mortis, the heart of the force. There, she faces the trials of the last force ghost, that of the chosen one, anakin skywalker. In the final act, she is confronted by palpatine's ghost who manages to reach mortis. He reveals that he is her grandfather and that if she kills him, he will take control of her. The final fight is epic, ghosts of the light and dark side oppose each other, and rey ends up sacrificing herself, by sealing palpatine inside of her, condemning hersemf to never finding true peace and to always have to fight his influence. She then goes back to the real world, fully assuming her heritage as a palpatine, and launching in a quest to redeem her family name

@@lamp-bs2ssbro “bro” died 6 years ago
My house burned in a horrible fire because of how fucking fire that shit is.
We need a dance battle between vader and dante from dmc
I GOTTA SEE KYLE REN VS KYLO REN 🔥🔥🔥
The fact that there is a fan film for this situation is crazy. Obviously it’s just the ghost of Vader I believe, because I’m the end the troopers visit him and there’s nothing there. But I recommend it!
A fan movie that depict it as kylo ren’s victory
@@stormbringer2840 Honestly Vader should win lore wise.
The dancing of Darth Vader killed me 😂
DAMN DARTH VADER GOT THEM MOVES
I know
Everybody gangsta until Darth Vader starts bussin it down
This is the coolest/funniest edit I’ve ever seen
i was abt to scream at someone when i say “IDK” and “FREE POINT” when i saw that.
First there was a dancing boba fett, now I see a dancing vader..I've really seen it all
Dance Break 😂
I gotta sub after that one, that was hilarious 😂

You actually got me there
You it’s my homie Kyle- Kyle… why uh… why do you have a li- PUT THE LIGHTSABER DOWN KYLE-

Heartbeat
Its heartbeat. Always there to help enjoi
It’s surprising that Kylo Ren actually gets something, like he wins speed and agility
Bro Vader got the moves🐐🗿🕺
DCvsMarvel: Kylo Ren gets speed.
Cal Kestis: 😰 *PTSD*
"DC vs marvel"
Star wars video be like

“You were warned What defeat would bring I will tolerate your weakness no longer”
"Wtf Kyle"- Eric Cartman
‘Dance break’
Yup, this is officially the best edit ever 👌❤️
That dancing Vader caught me off guard ong 👀
Bro had us in the first half ngl
Yall are using the most powerful version of me that isn't fair by any rate
You are the best dancer in the galaxy my lord
@@martinli8609 Thank you trooper
Lord vader even your weakest you wash this noob he never stood a chance
Yes
@@DarthVader90437The nornir tells me that you will send Kylo home crying
lol considering Kylo has heard Vader in his head all his life I'd imagine if he was to ever meet him he would shit himself an get auto killed 🤣
The dark side dance be like😂
Bro kyle got sat down
Bro, I was terrified in the first half of this edit
Ah yes. The infamous Kyle Ren!
I have seen this video so many times because it’s the best edit I’ve ever seen on RUclips
I watched this for like 10 minutes straight it's really good
The Kylo Ren in the books is nothing to sneeze at. Disney neutered him severely on-screen.
How Disney thinks Star Wars fans see Kylo Ren:
Darth vader dancing is just straight up wild💀💀💀💀💀
Everyone is gangsta in till Vader start dancing 😂
Vader gets stamina. Hes taken on hords of jedi thst survived order 66 and didnt even break a sweat
it will be possible if vader has 10% of his peak
Darth Vader would play so much with him that he even started dancing
The dance break tho😂
Ah yes my favourite character kyle ren
Darth Vader>>>>>>>>
hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby
This is such a GOOD edit, I wish could edit like that ♥️❤️♥️
song? :)
Childish Gambino-Heartbeat
Anger issues that got me dying on the floor 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Vader definitly has the anger issues but kylo is more emotional tho.
Firstly, Kyle? Also you had me scared for a second when you started giving all the points to Kyle. I mean kylo
Too late it's kyle ren now.
And Vader isn't emotional??? 💀💀💀
Anakin is totally emotionally unbalanced, he betrayed the order because of love
@@jhsubgameseanimes6753Kylo had his mentor, role model, and uncle try to kill him. You dont think that's a good enough reason?💀
I get that the sequels suck but it feels like you guys conjured up a bunch of headcanon about Kylo simply for the sake of biased hate. Kylo is literally getting the same treatment Anakin got in the prequels
but vader was well written duh
Omg I love that gif where it says welcome to the dark sode
Can you do Rey vs Ren
Who is Kyle?
Ur mum
Kyle Reese
The Father Of John Connor
The Boyfriend Of Sarah Connor
And Victim of T-800 💀💀
Oh, you know Selina Kyle, Catwoman from Gotham

Sounds like a character if there was the cringe Star Wars high school movie 😂
Stamina goes to darth vader wins no concept of diff
Kylo Ren when he wants cookies:

Darth Vader when he realizes that theres no more cookies:

That dance break was just awesome!!
Cartman voice: "Kylllleeeee"

He corrected himself as quick af
even vaders movement was restricted cuz of the suit and it made him so mad that he couldn’t reach his full potential Vader full potential is rlly js built different it’s acc mad
