What you think about epi on vs epi off ? I’m looking into epi on cause I don’t want to deal with the pain .I’m being monitored right now to see if I get worse .My doc told me I have advanced kc and I’m 39
I am 38y. I see a little blurry with one eye. Got the kc diagnoses one month ago... dont know if cross linking is still worth it. I can still read and do everything without glasses. Just when i cover my good eye i see blurry...
Great question. Current studies are being done to certify epi-on cross-linking. Currently only epi-off is FDA approved in the United States however and is our general recommendation. The good news is that you are 39 years old and not in your teenage years where we see the fastest progression.
Great stuff, very informative! I have a few members in my family suffering from Keratoconus.
Can you speak about the option of PRK and getting to see 20/20 with no glasses or contacts ?
Am I a candidate for any of these procedures with having cornea transplants
