@@MrPuddings_ maybe its my fault, but you havn't joined a public server anytime right? you hop on private, kill the raider, back out, back in private server (which still exists) and there is the item. i tried this on public to private and i failed serveral times.

Understandable that this one is patched, after all it does make it so u don’t have to grind for treasury notes as well which made this one a HUGE bonus, on the bad side though it takes forever to max the settler rep since it takes like 2 weeks for each reputation level 😭
I found the medical scanner, hopped onto my private world, popped my tent down but the medical scanner was not in my inventory anymore and had transformed into the quest item.
You also was able to do this in public as long as you had way ( friends ) in server. You could pick option 1 and option 3. 1 was more rep, 3 was more stuff
this works without fallout 1st theres a seperate location that requires you to server hop until the item spawns on the road, but once you get it you can hold it go talk to ward and get double rewards just server hop over and over and everytime you get back in youll have the quest back again. just remember to always put the glitched item back into the stash before relogging
This method in the video can only really be done solo on private, my other video which is method 1 is the one where you server hop until you find the item on the road.

I tried this last night on PC, and something went wrong. Maybe I can't Exit the world fast enough. Maybe the spawn loc was too hard to find, but I'd get a new "circle" to kill/recover. I tried a couple times in various locations, and couldn't find the item. Maybe it was sitting back at the original location where I couldn't find it the first time. Suggestions?
It's not easy to find (if forest location = impossible), but ignore the 2nd circle and just find item. But this glitch is patched. I'm sure, it is. I tried 2 times in a row and failed. After 1st reward quest ends. FIXED!!!
Im killing the "dude" .. then im leavign the map .. spawn there .. search the whole place ... NOTHING happens .. the quest zones is suddenly somewere else .. his corpse is gone .. but i cant find ANY item whatsoever :(

Same happened to me, it took a few times before I found it, keep trying eventually it will send you to a location where it’s easier for it to be found.
I was wandering I got raiders rep maxed with the glitched then came to do this but it stopped working if a new one is found would vary appreciate getting told lol
It’s an ok wee glitch but it takes too long and isn’t consistent enough, not enough loot , with max lunchboxes and cool boost I got up half a level in 3 hours…
If you are on PC i may have a solution. Just edit Project76Prefs file and find iPresentInterval=1 and edit it to 1 or 0 . Location is Documents\My Games\Fallout 76. This worked for me
I skip dialogue every time and dont wait a second before i click the first option, it works for me......im on playstation 4 idk if that changes anything
@@clarencefye2998 u can actually re use the same item, like if u are done for the day and finish vital equipment, save the bone saw or whatever u have and u can use it the next day
So the turret circuit board is the real quest item that gets glitched into your inventory after you relog, the only time you don't get the circuit board is when you find the osman kit from what I have experienced
Damn, I think I waited one day too long to do this as I'm pretty sure it's been patched. When I go to the get the glitched loot after killing the thief and relogging, all I get is the thief's body where it spawned. The only thing I can think of is the specific equipment that you're tasked to retrieve. Mine was different and maybe that's why it's not working? Or, third possibility: I didn't leave the server fast enough? Does the thief's body need to be still floating in the air from the attack? Because I walked over to verify it had the device on the body but didn't pick it up. Was looking into the body's inventory bad?
That is the idea, you kill the target but don't loot him, server hop, the target range will move, and you just go back to where you just killed the previous locations target
Because when you server hop you are not gaurenteed to be back in the world you were in, and also run the risk of losing your item, so I'd recommend method 1 in my previous video for public servers.
@@MrPuddings_ If want to do it in public server, and to avoid getting another server, you will need to have a "friend" camping that said server. then you will just need to join your friend's server. it will work that way.

its patched ward gives you a different diaolouge the second time around started 3 new charecters and it happened all three times

It's mainly for the reputation, as normally you can only do one reputation quest per day, the scrip, notes etc are just a bonus.
It's also great for treasury notes, if you're looking for just normal player levelling then I'd recommend the westtek levelling.
Its not meant for leveling.
