8 scrip per run. 4 min per run including the server hop. Do it 100 times for 800 scrip. But it takes 7 hours to do that. And for only 16 modules. I’d rather wait for the mole miner pales and get 1000+ modules in the weekend it’s on. How you say? Buy the mole miner pales from the white spring vendors (do NOT buy the ornate ones). When you run out of caps sells everything that’s worth something. Ie. The rare Fasnacht masks for 30k+ each. Then just keep buying the mole miner pales. Once you have 200 pales or so, slowly open them one at a time. You’ll get 5 - 50 scrip per pale. The slower you open them the more scrip it seems to give. Then just rinse and repeat over the weekend it’s on and you will have 1000+ modules for your effort
Ah yeah im on pc so i can rinse the run in like 2 minutes but for console this might be pretty time consuming. It is easy gold bullion and rep tho, the scrip is just a lil bonus i guess. Your method sounds nice though! I may try it!
For all those who are wondering if they patched in in the update, it seems they have, well at least for me, I get the chip board when I first server hop but once you give it to ward and then server hop it no longer spawns the board in your inventory
It was defs working before the update. I did it to max out my rep. The junk item still works as a quest item for me and I can turn in the quest but the glitch doesn't work. When I server hop and load back in, the daily is complete. I took a while for Ward to give out his quest too.
The method to do this is the same as it's always been. There are lots of places on the map to find these items, keep a few on hand for the inevitability that you at some point screw this up so you don't need to search again. If you do this on private you can just put the item in a container like the med box in his shack, hop to a new private world, and it will be there when you return. Saves some time. Buff up your intelligence too so you're making the most of the XP reward.
i thought that when you "hop to a new private world" you're just going to the same private world previously loaded? So what you're saying is give him the goods, put the extra item in the med box, leave and rejoin the same private world? Rinse and repeat.

It does not work. I just tested it step by step and after returning the turret circuit board with the item I picked out of my stash after server hopping it's no longer in my stash box or inventory.
just tried it myself, first couple steps work. Head to find the item, stash it, served hop, then talk to ward and completes the quest. But doesn’t allow me to do it again.
DEATILED WRITTE INSTRUCTIONS IF ATTEMPTING BELOW: It's old, been attempting this for a week now. If you get the item out and back into your inventory you don't ever have to go find what ward wants regardless of what he asked for. You can get them from camp ventura and Willard Corporate Housing (left entrance of bloody Frank's is also a location) You won't have to glitch the item if u find it. -Once you have it- -You talk to ward. -Take the glitched item out of stash then put it back. -Server hop. -take out of stash. -talk to ward. (pick whatever option you want, 1:more random stuff, 2:idk, 3:more rep +3 notes) -put item back on stash. -server hop. You can skip most dialog just don't skip the last because ward breaks sometimes and doesn't complete the quest so you have to talk to him again(not glitch breaking just annoying) The mission will come back over and over again, last server hop you can junk items and everything before restarting the process. (WARNING YOU CAN LOOSE THE GLITCHED ITEM IF YOU FAIL TO PUT ON STASH, I SUGGEST FINDING 2, experimenting i lost mine and broke the sequence)
Thx for being real my guy, just started playing this game and with work I can't just mindlessly dump 18 hours a day into playing the game and grinding this will definitely help out a ton Edit I got the multiscope to spawn on my 8th or 9th re log something like 15 mins, I have to go to work so I didn't try the actual turning in bit yet but I'll update yall than seems like some people get it to spawn quicker than others but it does work.
It isn't a junk item anymore, I always get "Portable Power Pack" which get's into my "Misc" category. Following your guide to perfection but it doesn't work. I'm on PC, to the others saying it's working I'd guess you're not on PC, and you're not finding the "misc" item like the rest. Until someone answers I'd assume this is patched for PC at the very least.
Just tried it as of March 30th 2024. I tried it a couple times, trying to stick to your instructions, but it looks like it was patched. The items are no longer junk now. They're in Misc. Definitely a bummer.
Its patched, i just did it and when you turn in the quest and log out after putting the item back into your stash box you dont get another quest item when logging back in.
I think they removed this glitch. The item still shows up in the road, but when you pick it up, it doesn't show up in your inventory, so you can't transfer it to your stash.

i reccomend starting the quest and then find a new item from off the ground, to avoid it bugging out and not working, but you could try using one from ur stash
i have 4 of the possible items on display. if you mess up and dont pull it out of your stash it basically becomes dead and you have to get a new one. so I have 4 dead ones on display and a live portable power pack for the glitch.
I'm just here to say that this doesn't work any more. I had done this successfully about 100 times within the first 24 hours of this upload. Yesterday (10/19) around 2 PM PST I didn't get the turret circuit board. Once I got Vital Equipment back today, I took the time to set it up again. I got the multiscope laying on the ground, but again NO turret circuit board ever loaded into my inventory. If anyone has a fix I'd be open to trying but other than that I think it's over boys and girls. EDIT** I HAVE NOW RECIEVED AN OSMOSIS KIT (UNDER MISC) INSTEAD OF A TURRET CIRCUIT BOARD. IT STILL WORKS LOL.

I found a multi scope on the ground in a random place and put it in a stash box. now all I have to do is go talk to Ward and after that I get the multi scope out of the stash box and take it to Ward, wait for the dialogue and the task is done. but I still have the multi scope in my backpack so I take it back to the stash box and I can repeat what I did. if I go to talk to Ward and I already have a quest item, I lose it, that's why I only get it after the daily started

Honestly a lot of effort for rep that doesn't matter much now with Minerva and very minimal XP. Farther ahead just server hopping and looking for Pitt runs to join. 20,000XP every 20ish minutes plus stamps modules and random legendaries.

Explosive laser rifle. Sadly laser rifles can no longer drop with the explosive trait. Making this a "legacy" weapon. Youl see that term tossed around allot. Likely Bethesda will nerf them into the ground this year and they are pretty expensive to obtain plus there's allot of people who will rip you off so... probably don't worry about it

You're not following the instructions. Setup an alt camp or your fallout 1st survival tent nearby to use your stashbox. Also...I think there might be a stash box inside every gas station. "If at first you don't succeed..." Quit and blame the messenger 🤣

the stash box by ward is closer. stash it back next to ward then quit, you only put the tent there so you can grab it faster when you load in. dude must have seen me running this over the past couple of weeks cuz thats my EXACT tent spot.

Just got back, from where, ban-ville? You get 5 potentially 3 star legendaries from PITT missions. And you can do them over and over. You will also get more xp and scrip (legendaries) from Westek, except youll be able to live with yourself and not exploit.
This has been patched on Xbox after recent update it got to much attention smh I made sure to stock up on a bunch of treasury notes (406 to be exact) because I had a feeling it would be patched with yesterday’s update it was getting to much attention recently and i was right because before the update it was working fine and after the update I tried it did it the exact same way and no turret circuit board anymore it’s patched
I think this still works on Xbox right now, I just server hopped twice and got a multi scope and a medical saw, so, it might work. I think this was patched in the update this week. I did this glitch no problem a few weeks ago but yesterday and today it was a one and done. You get the quest item when you pick up the random item in the road, but it completes the quest never to return until tomorrow.
I tried for a few hours last night and couldn't get it to work. Tried again today and got the item on my first server hop. Im playing on Xbox series x.
This still works yet is convuluded. I would only do this to get max rep because the other rewards are mediocre. You can also do this for raiders. I would only do this till max rep then stop due to ban hammer.

Season 11, glitch is patched. At least I think. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but when I finish the quest the items end up being removed.

you can force the spawn in a private world by killing the carrier, leaving, rejoining, then searching near the spawn point of the carrier.

Tried it on Xbox and it works. I got a portable power pack and it ended up in the Misc. tab. It works though

I just tried on PlayStation I got the item did everything but when I load back in I don’t have the turret circuit board any idea what could’ve happened?
I did exactly as said and I got the items that I searched for back but I didn’t get the quest or the turret circuit board on the full circle. I didn’t skip dialogue and only pressed a once. Patched or I messed up?

the stash box by ward is closer. stash it back next to ward then quit, you only put the tent there so you can grab it faster when you load in.
dude must have seen me running this over the past couple of weeks cuz thats my EXACT tent spot.
There's actually four or five spots for that item to spawn it has other random spawn locations but message me if you would like to know all of them

You get 5 potentially 3 star legendaries from PITT missions. And you can do them over and over. You will also get more xp and scrip (legendaries) from Westek, except youll be able to live with yourself and not exploit.

I made sure to stock up on a bunch of treasury notes (406 to be exact) because I had a feeling it would be patched with yesterday’s update it was getting to much attention recently and i was right because before the update it was working fine and after the update I tried it did it the exact same way and no turret circuit board anymore it’s patched
Got the bio scanner on the second hop but I never get the turret circuit board....on PS4 not sure what I am doing wrong.
I think this still works on Xbox right now, I just server hopped twice and got a multi scope and a medical saw, so, it might work. Gonna try right now, but I never found the actual thing, it just immediately said give the stolen property back to ward lmao

I think this was patched in the update this week. I did this glitch no problem a few weeks ago but yesterday and today it was a one and done. You get the quest item when you pick up the random item in the road, but it completes the quest never to return until tomorrow.

I did it yesterday and today, I don't think it works anymore.
This still works yet is convuluded. I would only do this to get max rep because the other rewards are mediocre. You can also do this for raiders. I would only do this till max rep then stop due to ban hammer.
If your in private just drop the item log out log in rinse repeat
