I’m going with you guys for the upper crash bars, which fit with the existing Adventure lower guards, and your skid plate, if it fits the Adventure lower like the Kawie 339 skid plate does.
The stock pipe we weighed at 14.3 LBS and the Leo Vince is about half that at 7.21 LBS. I'm not aware of a carbon fiber version for the KLR. Thanks for the comment!!
Is there a Dyno tuner in the Boise area that you could work with to see if there is a power increase, and if a tuner is necessary when fitting this pipe?
From Leo Vince: "Its not absolutely required. It usually doesn’t change mapping much, but of the stock mapping is already bad it wont make it better. Any bike with O2 sensors tends to perform better with the elimination of them and them some tuning, but at the expense of fuel economy. So the real answer is, it wont hurt the bike if you don’t but will smooth it out and run better if you do."

Use cation reflashing your ECU. Make sure that the vendor doesn’t make it impossible to access it with Kawasaki’s KVCS. I have seen it where the diagnostic tool will not connect and that’s an issue when trying to diagnose under warranty.
My experience with new machines nowadays is they come lean from the factory to meet emission standards. I have changed exhaust and high flow air filters on both and both were to lean afterwards. I run dynojet commanders on both and have dynojet tuned.
Since it boils down to weight to horsepower ratio, my questions about performance prooducts are: how much weight does it shave off? How much horsepower (if any) does it add? If there is no big performance benefit, I’d rather spend that money on your upper crash bar and/or skid plate.
I could care less about sound; I have two loud Harleys if I want to rock loud. I kinda like my KLRs stealth thumper sound! I want less weight, or more HP
Does the ECU or whatever need re flashed for the different muffler,. I know when I have replaced mufflers in the past on fuel injected bikes it made them run a little richer, just curious if there is any information on the New fuel injected KLR or mods for such changes and if there is any actual HP or performance increases.? Hey Dale, Been awhile! :) Hope you're doing well! I'm still waiting to hear back from Leo Vince on any changes needed after the pipe install. They sent a pipe to DynoJet and apparently it arrived but got stuffed aside and they didn't know they had it so they are looking around for it now I guess so they can test it? Hopefully will hear back soon with the final verdict.
@@IdahoDualSport Keep me posted if you ever hear anything my friend. Hope you and your family area ll doing well. It does come with the mid pipe. I'm not sure about the diameter but I e-mailed our rep to find out for you since I don't have one in hand at the moment.

Obviously it has cut-outs so this has some wiggle room in it to accommodate the tolerances in the stock pipe."
Not legal for street use in CA as it removes the catalyst which is in the stock system. However, there is no required smog check/inspection required in CA for motorcycles, so you can use this exhaust with no problem in CA. It would affect the warranty as it is a significant modification.
PLEASE TELL ME THAT THE PANNIER BRACKET ON THE BIKE BEHIND YOU....IS FOR SOME NEW ALUMINUM PANNIERS THAT YOU HAVE......TO REPLACE THOSE PLASTIC JUNK ONES THAT COME STOCK!
Just ordered the Leo Vinci x3 klr650 exhaust from you guys today. Can’t wait!
Awesome! You'll love it. I've run one on every KLR I've owned.
Me too!!
It would’ve been nice to have had a little bit better audio test. A ride by/before and after/different baffles….
I run an LV exhaust on my 2021 Ninja and absolutely love the sound. Plus the weight savings and extra room for my size 12 foot. Great product.
I just received my LV from you guys and reviewed this as a refresher. Next time if you mention the socket/wrench sizing would be a nice touch.
Gen 2 models exhaust still fits perfectly on the Gen3

What about the gasket where it mid pipe clamps to the bike? You really can’t get the old one out without the possibility of destroying it.
What's the weight difference from the stock unit? Is there a Carbon fiber version?.. great job guys!

Whats the HP increase after adding this slip on? Or is it just for sound?

No, that's attached to the stock pipe. Not needed with the Leo Vince
I would check the spark plugs after some miles to see if its running to lean or rich after the install.
