It comes in with really limited slow movement, a relatively low graphics area, and no enemies and you're just like... this is it? Then you walk through that sea of trees with the parallax scrolling and it looks nice. Still feels empty and slow, but nice looking. Then you play for a while and it gets fucking crazy with the fights. It's still no Hollow Knight, but it's a really solid metriodvania.
The chat in Skurry streams are super nice, people were talking about hollow knight, and I had just finished steel soul 100%. I told the chat that and people started congratulating me, it made me feel accomplished, made my day! Definitely if you haven’t already drop into a stream sometime!
the way he cries is so impactful it hurts so bad. Especially the way he ducks his head during the entirety of the final boss fight. He knows what’s going to happen!! He knows what he has to do!!! (And low key how his black wear looks like funeral dressing :( )
From what I heard on another comment, you add "-ato" to the end of an animal name when talking abiut baby animals. Idk what language, but it would make sense given that you're trying to get the baby back.

Damn this game looks sick, weird how Ive never heard about it. Its obviously heavily inspired by HK and other metroidvanias, but with weeb cats, and also the artstyle/visual storytelling reminds me of Hyper Light Drifter.

This is such a pretty game. The story and visuals are really well executed and though the world is probably not that expansive, the combat looks really meaty and satisfying.
This game reminds me a lot of the messenger but with cooler combat, the artsyle, the platforming, the level design, they're both hella cool (also the map is identical to the messenger in its design which is cool even if it takes inspiration or is coincidence).
Man, this game is so unassuming. I thought it would just be a quick flash game type thing, but it looks way more complex.
