Sometimes we need a little kicktarter to change our minds to think this way and a temple stay can be just right for that! Unlike other Asian countries, Korean Buddhism was persecuted 500 years ago untill 19c. So many temples are located in the mountains and are small in size. It developed a unique Korean Buddhist culture.

Hwaeomsa Temple I went on a picnic when I was in elementary school. I think I want to go there again after watching the video. I hope you have let go of the stress of busy Seoul life through the temple.

You can visit regardless to your religion. The prayers aren’t for Buddha or the Buddhist practice, it’s for your own personal development ^^

You know. This was done very well. You could probably do documentaries on tv. This is only a few minutes short of a half hour segment on television after commercials are added. What is the average? Around 24 - 26 minutes. My random guess. You see, you went and learned about everything to it and told us through your eyes and experiences. PBS and other documentary channels have shows similar to this. It takes work but you put in the effort.

So many people talk about meditation, how good it is. But no one really tells how to meditate, or what to think during meditation, or any guidelines (if there are any...)
