World Demise will always be my favorite,I think it's where they peaked just like cannibal corpse with the bleeding and both were released the same year.
10. Inked in Blood 9. Back From The Dead 8. Frozen in Time 7. Xecutioners Return 6. Obituary 5. Darkest Day 4. World Demise 3. Slowly We Rot 2. The End Complete 1. Cause of Death
i clearly remember the first 2 death metal songs i listened to. late night radio... i was 15, back em 1993... 1st one, cannibal corpse cover of "the exorcist" - and then, "suffocation" by obituary. damn!
Nice video man. I'd personally place Slowly we rot in n. 1 spot followed by Cause of Death. I feel like they lost it a bit after The End Complete, they lost their evil edge imo.. By the way it'd be cool if you reviewed Necros Christos 😉
I really like Darkest day. The riffs are addictive. And the album art is 1 of the best of all the albums. Want to order darkest day for my metal collection. I like it. Seriously.
Frozen in time, inked in blood, obituary and the first 4 albums all slap and have really catchy and head banging riffs which is why I love obituary. The other albums have good tracks on but fall off towards the end
I like obituary, but I could never get into them on a big level because of john tardy's vocals. I just don't care for them too much other than on a few songs. Might give them another try after this though
Yes, I'm one that has End complete higher. But it hits you like it hits you. And i do love Frozen, so I can't exactly argue strongly against you. For some reason I've never heard World Demise. My top 4: Cause of Death End Complete Frozen Slowly
Obituary have grown on me a little. 10 Back from the Dead 1/5 9 World Demise 1.5/5 8 Inked in Blood 2/5 7 Xecutioner’s return 3/5 6 The end Complete 3.5/5 5 Darkest Day 4/5 4 Frozen in Time 4/5 3 Obituary 4.5/5 2 Slowly we Rot 4.5/5 1 Cause of Death 5/5
While I agree Darkest Days is dead last, next should be Executioner's return, I disagree about Back From the Dead and End Complete. End Complete is my second favorite Obituary album after Cause of Death, and then I'd say World Demise, then Slowly We Rot. Back From the Dead may be the weakest of the albums they did before they broke up but Threatening Skies, By The Light, Platonic Disease, Rewind are all great songs. The Bullbituary thing was really embarrassing though. But I love that album. Then Frozen in Time, followed by the Self Titled, then Inked In Blood.
My top five 1. World Demise 2. Cause of Death 3. Obituary 4. The End Complete 5. Slowly We Rot I haven’t heard all their albums, but my least favorite so far has EASILY been Inked In Blood. The guitar tone and riffs are ass. The only obituary album I dislike
So far, Inked in Blood is at the bottom for me. I still have yet to listen to self-titled, but I am excited to make my ranking. But, after only lne listen through, Inked in Blood is NOT good. And I think the production is horrendous; their worst yet, but maybe it would sound better on my speakers as opposed to headphones.
@@pairofjeansreviews2034 Haha. Meh. I mean it in fun. Of course it's subjective. OH, you were right about Trimpeting Ecstasy - the more I listen, the more I love it. It's a modern deathgrind masterpiece.
Cause Of Death is top 5 death metal albums ever made for me. James Murphy's solos are majestic af!🤘
Such an underrated player! Every record he plays on has amazing lead work
Did James write the solos?
The End Complete is one of the top 10 best sold Death Metal albums with over 700 k copies sold and the band's best sold.
CHOPPED IN HAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUULF
CHAHPPED EEN HAAALLLPH
World Demise will always be my favorite,I think it's where they peaked just like cannibal corpse with the bleeding and both were released the same year.
Don’t really know too many Obituary songs so thanks for the cheat sheet. Do one of these for Fear Factory??
When the new album comes out for sure!
10. Inked in Blood
9. Back From The Dead
8. Frozen in Time
7. Xecutioners Return
6. Obituary
5. Darkest Day
4. World Demise
3. Slowly We Rot
2. The End Complete
1. Cause of Death
I keep revisiting the end complete to see if it hits me different but I always feel the same
i clearly remember the first 2 death metal songs i listened to. late night radio... i was 15, back em 1993... 1st one, cannibal corpse cover of "the exorcist" - and then, "suffocation" by obituary. damn!
Hell yes! Wish I was around for that time period
Nice video man. I'd personally place Slowly we rot in n. 1 spot followed by Cause of Death. I feel like they lost it a bit after The End Complete, they lost their evil edge imo.. By the way it'd be cool if you reviewed Necros Christos 😉
Cause of death! Sweet h2 81' pic in the back! Good shit man!
Thanks dude!
Great video man. I don’t know why World Demise gets so much hate, I think it’s great. Reminds me of 90s Biohazard.
Yeah it’s like crossover but sicker lol
World demise is great from start to finish
I really like Darkest day. The riffs are addictive. And the album art is 1 of the best of all the albums. Want to order darkest day for my metal collection. I like it. Seriously.
Love the nails shirt
Lol thanks but I must admit it’s my friends I had to borrow
Folks, if your #1 is anything other than Cause Of Death, ya done fucked up.
Truth
Another great vid!
Thanks dude!
Frozen in time, inked in blood, obituary and the first 4 albums all slap and have really catchy and head banging riffs which is why I love obituary. The other albums have good tracks on but fall off towards the end
Yeah all there albums at least have some cool moments
I really like Frank Watkins...great list! R.I.P to Ralph and Frank!
Ralph Santolla is such an underrated guitarist!
Are some albums named differently in Europe
The fact that End Complete wasn't number 1 is blasphemy.
Hey man it’s all opinions lol
The End complete is safe Nr. 1!!!!
Are Sodom and Tankard still coming, down the line?
Definitely! I mentioned in a previous video a couple days ago it’s just taking awhile because A LOT of albums lol probably in about a week or so!
I like obituary, but I could never get into them on a big level because of john tardy's vocals. I just don't care for them too much other than on a few songs. Might give them another try after this though
I love his vocals they’re like early Chuck but nastier imo
Yes, I'm one that has End complete higher. But it hits you like it hits you. And i do love Frozen, so I can't exactly argue strongly against you. For some reason I've never heard World Demise.
My top 4:
Cause of Death
End Complete
Frozen
Slowly
You should totally check out world demise!
Obituary have grown on me a little.
10 Back from the Dead 1/5
9 World Demise 1.5/5
8 Inked in Blood 2/5
7 Xecutioner’s return 3/5
6 The end Complete 3.5/5
5 Darkest Day 4/5
4 Frozen in Time 4/5
3 Obituary 4.5/5
2 Slowly we Rot 4.5/5
1 Cause of Death 5/5
Solid list! Only complaint by me is world demise but hey I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority
"Back from the Dead" is easily in my top 3, no clue why this gets so much hate.
You know german band Rage?
Nah I’ll have to check them out!

The end complete has grown on me a little bit since I did this, but still not among my favorites
Slowly We Rot!
Yes!
My top five
1. World Demise
2. Cause of Death
3. Obituary
4. The End Complete
5. Slowly We Rot
I haven’t heard all their albums, but my least favorite so far has EASILY been Inked In Blood. The guitar tone and riffs are ass. The only obituary album I dislike
I’m happy you have world demise at number one! Killer
Basically my ranking is the same as yours
Nice!
Cool Shirt!!

damn i dont hate it lol has some bangers but i do agree the production is a bit all over the place
@@pairofjeansreviews2034 Haha. Meh. I mean it in fun. Of course it's subjective. OH, you were right about Trimpeting Ecstasy - the more I listen, the more I love it. It's a modern deathgrind masterpiece.
Yes! Probably my favorite grind album ever tbh
Obituary: Worst to eh
