Putting devil's island at the bottom of my list is like asking for someone to empty a shotgun shell into my skull because it's blasphemy, but it's still an amazing song. Bad Omen has my favorite Megadeth riff ever right before the verses. And Wake up dead has to be the best song on the record. I almost put Bad Omen at number 1 because it means so much to me. Have you tried listening to the new song in E tuning ? It sounds perfect to me . Brings the guitar from D standard back up to E standard and retuning it ups the pitch of Dave's vocals back to an 80s sound .

I really love the first two Megadeth albums, but I can't love the guy and the band anymore. I am able to separate music from politics to a certain extend, but Mustaine has long crossed the threshold of the bearable for me, having become a Christian Nationalist, giving interviews to Sandy Hook denier and insane maga/q-anon clown Alex Jones, and befriending and supporting ultra-right Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, who wants to arm teachers with assault rifles, ban abortion and even some kinds of contraception, viciously opposes public health-care for anybody, and of course says that the 2020 election was fraudulent, and that the people jailed for the Jan 6 insurrection are political prisoners. And Jesus was, of course, a gun-totin', libs-owning, super maga messiah, who liked his followers to be armed to their brims with AR-15's for sports and recreation. Dave seems to appreciate her very much, and that's across the line for me. I Ain't Superstitious is one of the worst metal covers ever, almost as bad as Judas Priest's annoying cover of Johnny Be Goode on Ram It Down.
I always thought this and the first album where just plain bad sounding. I couldn't figure out why all my friends where so obsessed with something that sounded so awful!!!! The next album tho.....so far so good.......PURE GOLD

Listen to the original Killing Is My Business and not the remastered ones sometime. The production sound on Peace Sells is SIGNIFICANTLY improved.
