I grew up listening to ACDC back in the days of vinyl records. Cancer stinks. My dad died from it at 59 as well as his dad. I have chronic pancreatitis and was recently diagnosed with an ipmn tumor in my pancreas, which luckily appears to be benign at the moment thank God. You never know when your time is up and each day is a blessing. Prayers for the couple and all who face this awful disease.
Growing up back in the day Phil was my favorite drummer of all time. He still is as far as im concerned .Seeing him like this is painful to watch. If i were in his shoes id be the same way.

I'm here watching on his birthday, too. Played drums for about an hour to powerage and Flick of the Switch. Came across this, so saddened to hear and see him so broken..

I only met you briefly Phil.in England in the 70s.i was young then so were you. A few of us girls went on stage at the end of the show and you sat me on your knee and we shared a beautiful kiss. You were so handsome with beautiful blue eyes I hold this as a cherished memory. So sad to see your current sadness and that of your friend. May God send a miracle xx ❤❤
I wish you strength for everything. I know this is so hard...my bestie died 17 years ago because of that bloody cancer. After all those years there is still no cure. This is hard to take. Don't give up and try not to loose hope. I'm gonna pray for you. Lots of love from Germany ❤
They probably have a cure, but of course Big Pharma is like warfare ....... it's big business. Why would they announce a cure for cancer just to lose all the revenue they make from chemo drugs and the rest?
Phil is probably the only REAL ROCKER in the rock scene, an OUTLAW with a big heart. That's it ... Metallica and Co! Freddie Mercury was one of these rare beings too! May everything work out well for you both, Phil!

I've always admire phill rudd because to me he's the greatest drummer in rock and roll history playing with the greatest rock band in rock and roll history ac/dc. But seeing this made me gain a new appreciation and admiration for phill rudd the human being.

My father lost his second wife due to an aggressive brain tumor so I can relate to this. Stay strong, Phil. Sorry for the circumstances. You have a ton of loyal fans all over the world.
She wants to live! I can’t imagine living and feeling that my body is failing me and falling apart because I’d die soon. Maybe I’m too gonna confront this situation sometime in future…Who knows…You can’t predict it…If I were him I would cry the same and do as much as I can for my friend. I hope she’s still alive.

Saw you guys in the early '70s when I (and Angus!) were still at school and I was working at 2GB - totally blown away and been a fan ever since, although always been a Bon fan mostly. This may be relevant, back in the late 70s Phil broke his arm and Scott had a set in drummer play a video and live gigs while Phil mended. He passed away on November 3. His name is Joe B. Wilmore. RIP JOE.
