I just realized something: RUclipsrs have become really lucky when it comes to meeting famous icons.

While the Super Nintendo version of MMPR the movie is good the Sega Genesis version has Zord vs Monster battle and the score is 16 bit version of the songs from the show. To Be Honest, The Red Tyrannosaurus ranger will always be Jason, Rocky is the Red Dragon ranger. I wish Saban had actually used the core 5 Dairanger, they somewhat matched the White Rangers powers and they had the motiff of the Zord.
This was awesome, I loved the power rangers as a kid and still love them now! That being said, never in a million years would i have thought a team-up like this was even possible!!!

Holy shit. Just. Holy shit. One of my favorite games ever AND a Power Ranger at the same time on the show.
I am so glad someone remembers this game other than me. I think it deserves some more attention. It was by no means going to get any rewards but it is actually a really fun game. I have so many memories playing this game with my brothers and just having a blast. I hope this video will give it a little bit more recognition.
This was a great episode! So cool that you got an actual Power Ranger on the show. I got to meet Steve at C2E2 last year and he was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. If possible, I'd love to see you have him back on the show again to cover the Genesis version of the game. It's pretty different and usually seen as WAY better.

love this video!! I've been a fan of rangers since I was a kid, and now in my adulthood I'm throughly addicted to Super Sentai. this video, it's right up my alley for sure. I met Steve Cardenas in Saskatoon this year, and it totally made my life! we talked for 20 minutes, got some pics with him and an autograph. wow. He's such a cool guy and so friendly. this is by far my fav video from you. can't stress it enough how much I love this!

HOLY SHIT, thanks for putting the show's opening in there! I'd forgotten how much I loved the Power Rangers as a kid, and watching that opening just hit me like a tidal wave of nostalgia. Now I need to get the complete series on DVD! Fuck man, I don't care how old I get, that theme song kicks so much ass.
Oddly enough I JUST did a let's play of this game on my channel. Neat. I wish they played the Genesis version though. That one ACTUALLY has plot from the Movie. Unlike the SNES version. Although the SNES version is still tons of fun.

I was all about those power rangers back in the day I actually wanted to be the red ranger when I was a kid for halloween but we were poor so I got a pillow case and was a ghost. Still though cool you got him on the show

I prefer the Sega Genesis version of MMPR The Movie game. It has connections to both the movie and the tv show. Plus the music is MUCH better. Plus ZORD FIGHTS!!

Thanks Beardman, that game means the heaven for me, not just because it was the fist game i ever completed, because it was the only game i ever completed with my little brother, he passed away cause leukemia a year after we finished it, and we didn't have a lot of happy memories together, so thanks man for review a such important part of my life.
The Sega Genesis version follows the movie and it has Zord battles. It's way better.

I had a big dumb nostalgic smile on my face the whole time I watched this review. I never played the beat 'em up Power Rangers games but I had the fighting game that came out on the Genesis which I remember fondly, though I have no idea how it holds up today.

I got to meet the original Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger and Black Ranger at an event when I was a little kid back when the show was first being broadcast. I still have their autographs somewhere.

I love playing this game with my bro, the two of us make it a yearly thing to sit down for 40mins and beat it. I'd always play as Adam, and he'd play as Tommy, and we have the game completely memorized and have been able to go through without any continues. But damn if it aint a lot of fun.
When Jirard mentioned Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for the SNES I paused the video and remembered all of the nostalgia I have with that game and my SNES.
