EDIT: I now add Jojoba oil (about 1/2 tsp) tight into the bag with the acetone! it keeps my nails and skin from getting dried out and is WAY easier then coating my hands in oil. This lovely tip is from Jamilis Morris! Thank you!! I also use 2 paper towels instead of 1, makes it much easier and helps with glitter shades.

Had to come back and comment on this bc I am PISSED. This worked in under 4 minutes and I spent OVER AN HOUR trying to soak of my nails at least 4x in the past 2 months. You're a hero.
LOL!! I got nervous at first! Yay!! And don't worry I did the same thing! So much time waisted!
SAAAAME
I’m trying this next! I spent 1hr + trying to just soak in pure acetone and literally nothing happened just maybe the top layer ! Lol i hope this works for me! ❤️
It was always a nightmare removing dip 😭😭😭😭
Literally watching this because lastnight I spent about 2 hours taking off my dip with a drill 😩🤦🏻♀️ and I was thinking, if this works ima be mad lol
Who is here because Rona 2020 ?
Clarissa Alexandria lmfao sis YES 🙋🏾♀️😂
Leandra McNair I got mine done right before all this popped off . My nails hung on as long as possible 😂
Clarissa Alexandria Lmaoo I hear you!! I got mine done about 3 weeks before everything happened too and the grow out is disrespectful 🤣 it’s driving me crazy Lmaoo
Yes I’m like let me figure out how to do this myself before it’s to late and they start acting up or all the women start to buy up the nail stuff too 😭😭
Me my nails are so grown out, want them off before they pop off that hurts
Because of rona I'm here. My dip mani had a great run but now it's like, "sis set me free". Thank you for this upload!
You are too funny!😂
🤣🤣
Same!
Yes!😂
100% lol!! Of course! I'm happy it worked out!
I do this exact same method this is why I love dip powder with resin because it doesn't take all day to remove like gel, polygel and other nail enhancements the resin just literally melts right off.
Tip: adding oil(I add jojoba oil) directly into the acetone helps prevent your nails and cuticles from drying out.
Yes! I just found this out recently and I am re-obsessed! I will do that tip for sure! It doesn't add to the removing time?
@@FavrielleBrooks No it does not additional to the removal time nor change the strength of the acetone.
@@jamilia6748 Thank you for the tip! I have to do a fresh set tomorrow and I'm going to try this tip!
Can I use another type of oil? Or only jojoba oil works?
@@NoCoMm3nt5317400370 other types work
3 week old dips. At least 3 layers of color plus all the clear, or whatever it is(I'm new to the dip world). I filed off the clear and it took about 7mins of soak per hand. My water was HOT. Soooo easy.
Nice!! I'm so happy to hear that
Thank you so much for this video. I didn’t like the removal method at the salon and thought it was too harsh on my nails. Now I can remove my 3 week old nail dip and give my nails a break to regain their health. Thank you, thank you!
2 words-GAME CHANGER
Yay!!! I'm so happy! I love this method!! I now put the oil in directly with the acetone but this method is AMAZING!
@@FavrielleBrooks you just soak then in oil + acetone?
@@FavrielleBrooks What with oil?
I think in the YEARS i have been watching youtube i have commented twice! This would be my third time and i would say by far my best valued comment. Literally LIFE SAVER!!!!!! 👏🙌🏻 tried and true ONE 👏..... HUNDRED.... 👏PERCENT!!!! 👏👏👏
Thank you SO MUCH!!! That really does mean alot!! It was such a struggle for me that this method was really such a game changer! I'm so happy you like it! 💜💜💜
I agree! What a lifesaver she is
nail tech here, and I am definitely trying this tomorrow !! I have been stressing how to get this off and it not take 45 minutes !!
That's awesome!! I hope it worked!! 💖💖
A few thoughts on this after trying it:
Does it work: Yes
Is it really that fast: Maybe
The MAYBE is because it will depend on a number of factors. When I did this, I had powder dip on which consisted of: 1 clear layer of powder, 3 color layers of powder, and 1 layer of UV cured gel polish. That's a LOT to break down. It took 25 minutes on the first hand, without breaking the seal on the polish. 22 minutes on the second hand after breaking the seal of the polish.
It was far easier and cleaner than using foil and cotton balls. It was not as fast as my technician doing this in the salon though.
If you don't have many layers on, then it's going to be faster. If you've got a lot of lifting already, that will allow more space for the acetone to penetrate under the powder/gel. If you don't have a lot of lifting then breaking the seal is going to help tremendously.
Here's what I learned and what I will do next time when I go to remove the gel polish I'm putting on now:
1) Hot water is key. Like THE MOST important factor. Heating the acetone is what makes this work faster. The water will cool down pretty quickly, so make it as hot as you can stand it. She says this in the video and I want to reiterate it. It will sting but just take your hand out briefly and go back in. I'm considering a kettle of water nearby next time to 'top it off' if I need to.
2) Break the seal if you've got a lot of layers like I did.
If I'd kept better tabs on my water and broken the seal on my 5 layer (and 5 week old) powder dip, I think this would have been faster.
But I'm still plenty happy to discover this and this I'll continue to use it.
Tracey McClune
Good to know!! Thanks 👍🏽❤️
So helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your tips love!!!
This is absolutely amazing..I just soaked off three layers of dip in about 9 mins with no buffing..and the vaseline tip mentioned above worked like a charm.it used to take me at least 30 mins with the aluminum foil method..THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
Yes! It helps so much! I now also just pour in 1 tsp. of Jojoba oil with the acetone and it works like a charm!
Try 5 layers lmao with TIPS
Just started doing my own dip nails and taking them off was grueling. This video changed all of that! Life changing for nail dips and removal. Thank you so much!!
Of course love!!! I'm so happy it worked out!
Here because I sadly have to cut my natural long nails due to my dip lifting and cracking in a few spots. I’ve had this dip on for weeks and weeks. Stuck in quarantine and can’t see my nail tech any time soon. Oh well I can always get tips later and my nails can always grow back. Thank you for this!
josie yvette
Same here! 😫 This quarantine has totally ruined my chance of getting a fill. 🤦🏽♀️ so because I don’t know when I can see my nail tech again, I just have to take these completely off.
Now my challenge is what to do with my natural nails since they may be a little thin and unhealthy due to years of acrylic wear 😬
Same :(
Right there with you sista
Oh no!! I'm sorry =/ That's always the worst cause it takes so long to grow them there =( I hope this tip helps you out!
My girlfriend has had her nails in the bowl for 20 minutes now and not a single thing has happened. We decided to start drinking white claws as her fingers were burning off. Now we are drunk and frustrated. The smell of her burning fingers combined with the acetone smells like something straight out of the depths of hell. Somebody please help because we can’t seem to figure this method out.
Good day!
Omg!! Well walk me thru the process, did you do it exactly like the video? Good choice on White claws though!
Oh my!!!! This works REALLY GOOD. I had stoped doing my nails because it took so long to remove them but I finally gave this trick a try and it makes it stress free! Thanks for this post.
Of course!! I'm happy! I love it and still remove them just like this.
Careful with 100% acetone it is very flammable and evaporates completely at 130 degrees F. The vapor is highly flammable. The bag should help contain vapor but be careful that nobody smokes in the vicinity, cigarettes or otherwise.
Good tip! even breathing it in is not great so it's a really good idea to be careful with this!
Just watched this video. I was extremely skeptical. Got all supplies together and amazingly it works! Only took 3-4 minuets per hand with 3 layers of powder dipped nails. Thanks!
I was super skeptical too but yes! It works fantastic! Happy you liked it
This worked!!! I put the baggie in warm water and it started dissolving the dip powder! Thank you!!
Of course my love! So happy it worked!!
This worked super fast just like you said it would and I had three coats on to remove 🙌🏻 thank you
Yay!! So happy you loved it! I almost always do at least 3 coats now and even if it's glitter it's never taken more then 10 minutes!
I just followed your directions and this is the best ever. It normally takes an hour and a half 🙃. It took 8 minutes cause I had glitter on one of my nails 💅. Yeah thx you so much for posting this 🙂
Yes! That's amazing! I used to sit for hours in front of tv letting them soak and hated it! This has totally changed the game!
OOOHHH MMMYYYYY GOOOSSSHHH! I feel liked i stumbled across a miracle! THANK YOU!
LOLLLLLL This just made my day XD Thank you!!!
I know I’m late to the game. But I just started doing my own dip nails. This method REALLY WORKS! Literally no scraping or buffing at all. I think it takes me 7-10 minutes depending how many layers I used (still learning).
Just wanted to thank you 🙌🏻 (I slather lotion on my hands & then cuticle oil on the cuticles) to protect my skin
You can use olive oil or coconut oil, they work well. 🤗
Hey do you mean one of those oils mixed in the bag with the paper towel/acetone? If so how much?
yes, please spill the tea! (oil)
I mean instead cuticle oil you can use coconut oil or olive oil and apply after also. They’re better for your skin🤗 and less expensive
Thank you 👍🏽
Yes! good tips!
Great tutorial!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’m so amazed how quickly and well it worked plus I found an acetone that includes coconut, vitamin E, and grape seed oil🤩🤗
Thank you!! Yes! It works so fast! Omg that's awesome!! Please let me know how that works!
I found the Onyx Professional Soak Off solution, too! I used this method tonight, and it really worked. It took me about 10 minutes per hand because I had 3 layers (one glitter) and this was my first time, lol.
Where did you find the acetone with the coconut, vitamin e and grape seed oil?? 👀
@@genevavargas8656 got mine at Wal-Mart
Newbie here. THANK YOU! Nobody told me it would be so difficult to remove these. Now, I can try this and not lose my mind. You rock!
omg yes! They're like cement lol I hope it works out!!
I'm Dominican, and when you said "alicate" it got right to my heart, I know the struggle with some words.... You're so cool.
Thank you love! Yeah, I grew up learning both languages at the same time and even though I speak primarily english now some words still mess me up lol
By us having to be inside because of Cov-19, and the nail shops are closed 😞, I really appreciate you, hun! Life savor!! 🥰
Yes, iknow
I have to do mine
Of course love! Thank you for your kind words :)
OMG this video is a LIFE CHANGER. 2 layers of GLITTER dip, 4 minutes per hand. Done! This just shaved 45 minutes of frustration off my mani!
omg that's awesome! Yes! No more sitting there soaking your nails forever!
Excited for this! As I do my own dip and taking off the 45min-1hr of soaking would be LOVELY
At first I was like “no way, this is fake” but the comments were positive so I thought I mine as well try and omg it worked 😱 had dip nails on for way over a month, nothing opened to remove due to corona virus so thanks for the huge help so easy quick and hassle free🙏🏽
Yay!! I'm happy it worked out for you!! The rona had us messed up
I use a dryer sheet instead of a paper towel. Plus rona got people losing their minds over paper towels 🙄. My dip comes off in 5 min per hand with 3 layers. 🙌🏾
🤣🤣🤣 I can definitely attest to the dryer sheet method
@@siobhan4320 I am so glad I found this method. Now my husband might get sick of our house smelling like a nail salon, since I can now change them as often as I want, but he will have to get over it 😂.
Super creative! I will def have to try that, Great way to reuse dryer sheets too!
lol!!! He should bee thankful your not spending all that money at the salon! Realistically you are being very proactive for your household lol
This honestly worked so well! I just took off my dip powder nails using this method and took everything off in about 15 min. So glad I don’t have to goto the salon anymore to take my dip powder off! Thank you for this video 🤗🤗
Yay! I'm happy it can save you a trip!!
I was so skeptical because this seemed too good to be true - girl you saved my LIFE!!!! thank you so much!!! this took off my tough, nail-salon set!!
Of course love!! It's almost too good to be true but it works! :)
Holy moly I have to remove my SNS soon because all the ms techs are closed due to the pandemic. Try this in a few days, thank you
Hi, did you try this with your SNS yet? How did it go? I have a few days yet, trying to find acetone that I don''t have to wait 3 weeks for delivery.
Yes it works to remove sns too!
Walmart has a blue remover that works pretty good if you ever need!
Hi just adding to my comment I rubbed vaseline all around the skin that is going to be exposed to the acetone, careful not to get on nail. Worked really well.
Good to know! And it stays in place better.
You are a blessing. This worked in 5 minutes. I used the drill to remove the top coat, and added olive oil to the acetone. You rock!!!
This actually worked! The first couple of minutes I thought nothing was happening but after 3 more minutes they all came off! This should be more known!
Thank you! Yeah it takes a while to get thru that top coat (I might try buffing it next time before soaking to see if it changes anything) I love this process though its so much faster!

how do i get the nails extensions off:( i’m new to all this and i really bothers me
Omg...OH MY GOD!!!!! This worked like a charm!!! I put a tsp of coconut oil in the bag with the acetone and this worked within 5 minutes on 3 layers of dip! It can take me 45mins- 1hr at home to soak my nails off....what am I gonna do with all this extra time?!?! 😂🤣 THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!!!!
yayyyyy!!!!!!! This makes me super happy!!
You have lovely nails - look very strong. Has using the dip nails helped them grow longer and stronger, or do you just naturally have stronger nails?
I just wanted to say THANK YOU!! I’ve been DIYing gel polish and dip acrylic for a long while now and I typically will steam soak them off. That doesn’t work well at all for the gel polish and works to melt off the acrylic ok but takes over an hour if I want to do both hands and this technique you showed literally took 5-7 mins combined and I can’t thank you enough. With my teenager toddler and preteen I just don’t have the time to wait to take it off to start anew and you have saved me so much so thank you again! This is awesome!!
I'm so happy to hear that! Our time is so precious and shouldn't be wasted on removing our dip nails!
Thank you! I tried this method this morning and happy to share it worked beautifully! I added jojoba oil to the acetone (game changer!) and used the Vaseline tip someone posted in the comments (I applied it liberally after the cuticle oil). Nails (and hands) look and feel great. I also used a tea kettle with hot water to top off the bowl as that water cooled. Thanks, again, for the upload!
Dreama Ross hi, did you mix the jojoba oil with the acetone?
hi - just saw this - yes, I added the oil in with the acetone. That really helped counter the drying effect of the acetone. Good luck!
That's awesome!! I'm so happy it worked out for you!! Such a great tip with the tea kettle too!! I will definitely have to try that one!!
Omg! I just did this. Removed my acrylic and dip powder. Minimal filing. I was so scared to do this but it actually worked. TY!!!
You're welcome! Yes! It's almost too good to be true but it works!
Wow I wish I had watavhed this before soaking my nails with cotton for an hour
It's ok girl we've all been there! :) I'm happy you have this now
Will this work for acrylic too? I need to get mine off and start my dip.
I haven't tried it myself but others have said it did. Did you try it?
Holy sh yes this works, I had a salon dip manicure (bottom clear coat, 3 layers dip, top clear coat) that came off in 4 minutes doing this. I did file the shiny top coat off first. But good Lord I had to wear a face mask while doing this because those acetone fumes are no joooooke 😷😷😷
Yay!! I'm so happy it worked for you! Omg yes lol they can be a kicker
Ok this is mind blowing! Doing this today, thank you!!! 😭
Of course!! I hope it worked out for you!!
I read comments, watched your video and am not easily impressed. Your ease of delivery and confidence won me over and I went to Lowes to get Acetone. Once home and all supplies ready, the dipped nail was removed in under 5 minutes on my first hand. I AM IMPRESSED. The hot water made all the difference. I am a fan now, what else do you have for us? Thank you!!
You got the acetone from Lowes home improvement?
Dang Angie!! You were in this to win! I didn't even realize it could be purchased at Lowe's!! Well I'm really happy it worked out for you!! I am not a nail tech and just do nails at home on my self so I'm trying my best but thank you for the encouragement!!
Had to come back and comment. I am brand new to dip nails and so I decided after doing one hand, I wasn’t happy. Found you after watching one video that suggested an hour to take them off. YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 min, and I was back to round two and I was able to knock it out AND I was happy. When I switched hands I felt the freedom to “fix” the mistakes without worrying that it would take forever to get my nails done. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Aww!! Thank you so much! This makes me so happy! Doing our nails shouldn't be such a nightmare!
i cant believe this works im so happy thanks for sharing!!!
Of course! I love this technique! It's worked the best out of everything so far!
It tried this methot yesterday!!! It actually helped but I removed my sns first doing the way showed in the video for like 15 minutes( didn’t need the paper just acetone in the bag) and this removes a fair bit on top. After I still use foil and cotton with acetone for another 10 minutes and all came off!!!!!
In the bag I put normal nail polish with acetone. Didn’t have enough pure acetone. So i kept it for the foil
Good luck 🙃
Happy it worked for the most part! Having the paper towel is nice because it helps remove the parts that have already dissolved so the acetone can work on the under layers. Pure acetone is in such high demand these days!! :)
OMG!!! I can hardly believe how great this is. 5 minutes to remove 3 layers of color!!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!!
That's amazing!! You are so welcome!!
I'm just watching this because I ripped half my nail off just now-
omg!! lol I hope you're nail is ok now! It's happened to me so many times
Cant thank you enough! Was about to quit doing my nails as it took over an hour to buff, file, soak, scrape and pick. And I had shoulder surgery a few months back to top it off so I was killing myself to do my nails! This video is a total life saver!!!!!
I'm so happy to have helped!! It has COMPLETELY changed the game for me too and now we can enjoy doing our nails more!
Wow!!!!! Total game changer on dip removal! I was about to give up on doing it at home because of the removal process until I tried this. Thank you for posting!
I was the same! I was so ready to toss everything out until I found this :)
I have not tried dip nails because of the mess. Now I have a good solution. Thank you
You will love it! You're welcome :))
I doubted this method and wasted 20 mins on one hand! I tried this and it literally took 5 mins! SO IMPRESSED! THANK YOU! (I’ll never doubt you again) 😂❤️
Lol!!!! It's ok, we've all wasted time trying to soak them off :)
Game changer. Only, I don’t have Acetone. I will have to go out to buy Acetone and cuticle pushers. Definitely doing this soon. My dip has grown out halfway down my nail. N O T cute.
I hope it worked out love!!
I told people about this several weeks ago!!!
Yes!! It is such a game changer!!
Ok I did this exactly as described....it worked, BUT I’m wondering if anyone else out there that has done this has had a strange reaction to the skin on their fingertips. Mine are all pruny as if water logged in water... days after doing this, I can’t even wash dishes now because it becomes painful... I can only conclude the acetone burned the top layer of my skin.. it’s been days and no change.. I really hope it will regenerate. Anyone else experience this???? They are super sensitive and just look awful... literally like I was in a pool for 12 hrs. Weird.
omg! Well I'm happy it worked but I really hope your hands are ok! The acetone can be so intense! =/
Thankyou👍🏻🌟yeah my last removal took hours!!!!!!🌈
Of course!! Yes this has helped so much!
So much better then the nail salon grinding them. Thank you for sharing.
Of course!! Yup, saves you a trip!
LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS ON RUclips!!!! Lifesaver!!!♥️🙌🏾🙌🏾
Awwww! Thank you so much, that means alot!!
This works AMAZING! Just tried and it saved my grown out corona nails
Yay! So happy it worked out! No more Corona nails!
SHOOK! Just did this; it works!!!! Thank you for posting!!!
That's amazing!! Of course! Thank you for the love!!
This actually works!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I found just soaking them off in a bowl of acetone left gunky powder residue on your skin which would take a day or two to come off 😖 but not this way, so happy I came across this.
I have a question, I recently brought the SNS SenShine Matt Top and wandered if anyone has used it also? For some reason when I apply it, it turns my whole nail white! Is anyone else having problems or can help me on how to stop this? I’ve searched and searched on the internet but there is nothing on RUclips or any website about how to apply it and you can normally find a video for everything! Please help, any advice would be much appreciated 😊
Thank you love! I'm so happy it worked out! Hopefully someone can help you out with the sns!
Thank you thank you for this! The first time I took off dipped nails and put them back on it took me 1 1/2 hours to complete the process. First time mind you, but the second time wasn’t much shorter. This is awesome!! So easy so fast!! 😄😄
Hey that's great time for a first time! It took me way longer. Happy it helped!!
can you use your free hand outside the bag/in the water to assist with rubbing it off? or just stick to one-handing it?
Either. When I have glitter colors I usually use my other hand to help a bit sometimes, just gotta remember the water is pretty hot so be careful
Thank you!!!! Can you do the same procedure for gel nails, too??
Yes you can :) it'll help to buff the top coat a bit
Can this method be used for gel?
OMG! I can’t wait to try this. Thank you 😊
Of Course!! I'm so happy you love it!
This is a first for me. I had to find this video again so I could comment. This method worked so well for me today. So simple. Thank you for this post.
Thank you so much! Of course! I'm happy it worked out for you!
Wow!! It's like magic it came right off in no time!! Thank you for this amazing tip, I will definitely share it with others :)
Yay!! I'm so happy you liked it! ty!!
I tried and mine took HOURS! But I didn't have 100% acetone.. so maybe that was my problem.. but my nails are horrible now.. I'm so sad but I know they will grow back. Just sucks..
Yeah, the 100% acetone is the most important factor, and a big difference from regular nail polish remover. For years, I would NEVER do my nails, simply because of the removal process... even for regular polish. But when I bought my 1st bottle of 100% acetone, it CHANGED my life!😄 You gotta get some!
Yes! The 100% acetone really makes a difference!
Thank you!!!!! I just tried it and it took about 10 minutes per hand. I had three coats on plus glitter. I did shave it down a bit because I knew the glitter would be an issue.
I'm so happy it worked out!! Yeah it definitely fluctuates based on what you have on but it's still pretty quick!
Would it work if you just have rubbing alcohol?
I haven't tried it but I don't think it would.
Stuck in quarantine and also a nail tech (who misses her job hence why im here 😂). I have been telling people this for YEARS! 👏🏻 except i use a plastic bowl with extremely hot water and a glass bowl for the acetone and i fill the glass bowl with acetone and place it in the plastic bowl then i place the hot water in the plastic bowl. And definitely dont forget two paper towels in the glass bowl! Its just easier than wasting two sandwhich bags 😂
Brianna I use gel liquids when I dip. Do you know if this method would still work?
gemlady521 liquid gel nails or gel polish? Liquid gel has to be filed off (gently) but gel polish would work with this method
Brianna Thx Brianna! I was referring to the fact that I use gel base and top coat instead of traditional dip liquids when doing my dip manis. From your response though, sounds like this method will work. 👍🏽
gemlady521 you’re welcome. If you have any more questions let me know!
Brianna 😘
Thank you, Favirelle for the awesome video on how to remove the dip nail powder! It IS truly amazing! And I’m a cat person - your kitty is adorable!! Keep up the informative videos!!😊

Thank you!!!! This saved me during this quarantine.. it worked ladies...🙏❤️
Yay!!! I'm happy to hear it helped you out!
Thank God I found this. Got my nails done with tips, ombre, and glitter 4 weeks ago. Nails were still on completely. Tried drill, soaking and was about to do foil. My skin was suffering and my nails were still on!
Multiple sessions.
This STILL took 15 minutes but at least the oil trick saved me and now I know how to do it next time with my diy home nails which will be much easier.
Yes! omg your poor hands! I'm so happy this helped!
Hand down!!! The best how to video ever!!! I’m speechless! Thank you so much! You saved me so much time soaking these nails off
I liked watching your video, but this is the same method but the salons use when they take off my dipped polish. The only difference is I put both hands in one bag at the same time.
Well good 4 u!
Nice! I'm happy it worked out for you!
Wow! That’s amazing! Because of this hack. I decided to buy a dip powder nails! Thank you so much! By the way” you mentioned that thing in Spanish” it’s called Cuticle or Nail Nipper! I enjoyed your tips! ❤️❤️❤️
I just did this and it was so fast. Less than 10 minutes. Im shook!!! Thank you for sharing this hack. I just came from the nail salon and had a nail dip done and it was so thick and she shaped the nail completely different than what I asked. And not to mention she cut my hand in 2 places.
OMG! Yeah, we've all had those nail salon nightmares, I'm so happy this worked for you though!!
Thank you so much for this review, this removes nail dip better than anything I have ever tried! God bless!

Of course!! I'm happy it worked out love!!
Omg! How is this not being shouted from the rooftops. This worked so great. Thanks!!
LOL!! Just made my day :) ty!! So happy it worked great!
I'm new to nail dip so this might sound like a dumb question lol will acetone from like home depot work? Or is that different from the kind you get at a beauty store?
That's not dumb at all! Soooo II think it will, because I'm using 100% acetone it should essentially be the same as that. I deff recommend adding a few drops of an oil though so you're hands don't get stripped. If anything you can do a tester finger
Ok thank you!! I'll definitely have to give this a try when it's time to change my nails up. It seems so much easier than anything else I've seen.
I can't believe how quick the powder came off! Heat & acetone!! Thank you :)
Yes! It's the magic combo! You are so welcome!
Did anyone try this without filing off the top coat? Did it work for them? I tried it without filing off the top coat and it didnt work too quickly. Took me an hour at least.
I never file off the top coat and it usually works in under ten minutes per hand =/
@@FavrielleBrooks ok thanks I will try this!
i would just buy a bottle of vit e oil from palmers. instead of the cuticle oil cost a lot les
Oh yeah, I use Trader Joes Jojoba now and love it. I just wanted to use the other bottle up first. Thanks for the product suggestion!
Thanks for doing this tutorial for dip nail removal! I'm a newbie to dip nails and dread the removal process and your method has me excited to try. Love love love the cat❤️Happy New Year
Yay! Of course :) It can seem so daunting but this method seriously helps! And thank you! He's my baby boy
This definitely worked like a charm! Thanks for all the tips and this video! I’ve recommended it to all my friends that use dip!
Yay!!! Thank you so much love!! I'm happy it worked out!!
This doesn't work for me! I'm doing the exact same steps (yes, 100% acetone) and it still takes over 30 minutes per hand to remove it.
Hmm I'm not sure. It's worked every time for me. a few others that had trouble said the water usually wasn't hot enough. I'm not sure if that would help! Hopefully something works out!
@@FavrielleBrooks I think I figured it out. It was a combo of not filing the topcoat enough and the water not being hot enough. Thanks for the tips!
@@aimebernards102 of course!! Let me know if you ever have any questions 🥰🥰
I’m shook, it actually worked
LOL! I had the same reaction!
I got my dip nails done and I hate them. They’re honestly annoying
Was it your first time? If so, I would try again. It's not something you can master right off the bat. I've done mine 3 times and have improved greatly but have some things to perfect still. But, obviously, up to you :)
Lisa Feldman j got them done at a salon and just didn’t like them. They’re always in my way and I slipped off the car door and nearly ripped off two of them so after that I’m throwing in the towel. Can’t do the long nail thing. 😭
This is so true! I've even learned a ton from doing this video and my nails at home video. You just continue to get better over time.
omg! Yes they are so finicky! I slammed mine in a door once and I saw the starsssss.
My cat was a little less that 18 but we were in the same situation. Anyhoon my vet told us that dry food is actually extremely bad for cats! She said that cats don’t need all the carbs that are in dry food, because it can lead to diabetes, and they should be on a solely wet food diet. If you go to the website catinfo.org/ this lady I think she’s a vet herself?? I can’t remember buuut she has a chart of which is the best kind of wet cat food to give your feline!(: As well as a ratio of what should be in your kitty’s food in reference to protein, fat, and carbs. we switched and I’m please to say that my kitty was 11.2 lbs or so and he’s now at 10.5 in about 3 was or so... buut I just wanted to share that!(:
Thank you for sharing! I'll check it out! :)
thanks for sharing this! your step by step detailing was very good and your humor (pretend smaller bag) is hilarious and makes this more "real"!! this will be my 1st time trying this method because I don't want to spend 1hr plus trying to remove. I have 3 layers with glitter color so finger crossed. **UPDATE: less than 25 mins to get it all off HOLY SH*T!!!
Aww!!! Thank you so much! You are so sweet! Yes! With glitter colors it does take a bit longer and sometimes I put two paper towels in the bag because the glitter just shreds it but it's still super fast!
This is the best thing I have ever come across on RUclips. Saves so much time and so much wear and tear on my nails. Thank you!!
When I tried this when I stuck my hand in the water it started boiling LOL what. Was my water too hot? Cause this really didn’t work for me :(
You’re doing something wrong watch the video again. It works just follow her directions
Hey! I'm sorry that happened! make sure the water isn't boiling hot just hot enough. Hopefully it works in the second round!
