Looks Like you had a Really good day. Those are some wonderful finds. It's always nice to find old silver. Only thing better is Old Gold and hope you find some of that soon. Good Luck and Hello from Ohio USA.
I don't know much about UK or its building history but if I'd have found those big lumps of lead sheeting with nails thru it I'd guess it was used for roof flashing around a chimney or such.
What a fantastic find, George 1st silver, and you may not realise it, but early milled silver like that very rarely come up when detecting, we found a 1723 George 1st shilling the other day and that is the first George 1st silver that I have ever found in 50 years of detecting before disabled and just over a year detecting in my powerchair with Wendy. Look after it and remember the moment you found it, they are lovely coins and remember, more detectorists find hammered than early milled silver. All the best from Wendy and Jon in Derbyshire. 👌👌👌👍👍👍
Thanks for subscribing James yeah its a fantastic place and to say that was the first 4 hrs on it im really excited to see what comes next. Hopefully a nice gold guinea 👍😎🤞
