Another great job Martin. Tricky job made to look easy

Unrelated to the project but I’m just about to buy a brand new caravan. I’ve narrowed it down to two manufacturers with one being Bailey. After watching your vlog and seeing the competence employed in creating the drain hole means I wouldn’t now ever touch a Bailey. Your vlog has been enlightening. Thank you.

I'm always forgetting to close the valve, when setting up the water! Cheers Martin, and have a good season mate! 👍

No wonder my sevice engineer does not favour Bailey caravans. They do have many positives though. I enjoy my Cabrera. Keep the tips and advice coming.

Just like the 15mm house hold push fittings you can get the inserts for the 12mm push fits helps them create a better seal

Hello Martin, the reason Bailey installed a plinth for the drain valve to sit on would be to cover up the shocking mess that was made in the caravan floor. Usually these vales are secured directly onto the floor, being the lowest point. This also raises the question that will the system drain down correctly? As the dump valve should be at the lowest point. Keep warm.

Great job Martin, 👍 keep it up.

  • @hitchupngomr_p3927

I think Bailey used an SDS drill to make that hole😮

  • @davefella1890

Thanks for the video Martin... gives me the confidence to try these things out myself when needed... a considerable amount of expletives in my case though 😊👍

  • @ianmason3446

    great vlog great job

  • @sheilahowse6880

Neat job Martin well done explaining as always helps others

  • @totaltouring829

I do like your posts Martin. Why do designers think having service points under a bloody seat is a good idea is a joke. If I was king, the service points would be all accessible through the gas stations or similar.

  • @andrewormondroyd7409

    Nice one Martin 👍

  • @CarlAdamson2563

Great video young man 👍 our drain down pipe was dripping an noticed Phil from lost weekend was on about it a while ago and he changed his. Then after that ours got worse so changed ours. And your right the price of it is shocking from caravan dealers, Amazon was the cheapest an free postage 👍

  • @HowardB54

Why do I always remember I haven’t thrown the yellow flap until I’m locking van door before moving off and the flap is under the seat and there’s now chairs, tables, and (insert any bulky item here” on the floor !

  • @thecaravanaddys

You made that look easy x

  • @davidmbell

They’re always in a bit of a sod of a place, in my old Elddis I had to be an acrobat as it was under the fixed bed at the back.

  • @paulpringle8263

Good idea and tidy job Martin. The old drain valve hole your correct it's shocking workmanship shame on you Bailey employing wood butcher's. Thanks for sharing 👍

  • @Riccicaravanadventures

Great little video. All the manufacturers seem to have zero thought for the end eludes with stuff like this.

  • @colinrimmer789

It never ceases to amaze me the lack of pride taken at the factory, how on earth can you go home at night after having done such a shoddy job. 😡🤦‍♂️
