As a cop in the 80s I stopped a guy at 4am for Jay Walking in Downtown Portland Oregon. He continually lied about his name so I took him in for fingerprinting. Under his true name he was wanted for multiple counts of Murder out of Michigan. He had burned down a house and killed the 5 occupants ten years prior. This stuff does happen.

A reflector on a bike during the day?
I think they might have too many patrol on staff there…
Imagine how man criminals would be caught if we took away everyone’s rights… would that be good police work? No, it would be authoritarian.

By law you literally don't need a stupid bike reflector! Pathetic. It's a suggestion not a law. Don't ever give cops your identification card. They need ras and saf reasonable articulable suspension that a crime has been committed, single articulated of facts. as well as Probable cause. If they don't have that they can't arrest you no stop you. You can sue them easily if your rights are violated. Also they're violating your 4th amendment which is the right your persons houses papers and effects. Always invoke your first amendment and 5th amendment. Don't answer questions without council. Always ask for name and badge number cops are public servants paid by tax payers we the people. Own them. The thin blue line is a terroristic flag. Never roll your window all the way down because you're not required by law there is absolutely no law for your window to be down. Also it's been up held in the supreme Court over 100 times you don't need a license to retake in your private automobile. Not for hire nor for commercial capacity or advantage for the use of transporting goods. Driving is for commerce. Truck driver bus driver law enforcement EMT USPS UPS fed ex are river uber is a driver door dash is a definition of a driver. It's real thing but no one knows about it moat people are goody and give in. DMV is also not part of the government they're a privately owned corporation doing business to extort money from the people under the color of law. Don't need registration or insurance on your private mode if travel.
