As a cop in the 80s I stopped a guy at 4am for Jay Walking in Downtown Portland Oregon. He continually lied about his name so I took him in for fingerprinting. Under his true name he was wanted for multiple counts of Murder out of Michigan. He had burned down a house and killed the 5 occupants ten years prior. This stuff does happen.
I don't know what is worse , a murderer on the run for 30 years or a law that gets you pulled over because of no reflector in broad daylight . It's a Sick world !
