Another great transformation for his office. I like the richness of the dark woods and think it would go well with the rest. There is lots of natural light with the nice windows. Loving the job you did with Devin's office. The paint color is perfect; and you managed to wear a shirt the same color to paint it. 😉 I liked that you ran the beadboard around all 4 walls and the ledge you put on the windowsill will be perfect for some plants. 🌿 I would stain the desk. Congratulations on another stellar room project and for the baby!!!! I'm confident you will create a warm, cozy nursery for the little one, full of special details and DIY fun! If you haven't already chosen a desk finish, perhaps a mix of stained work top and painted base? The dark brown bookcase frames the desk: maybe use the same color of stain on the desk's top in a wash finish and pick up one of the rich hues from your framed pieces for the base. I'd choose the dark blue, as it compliments the browns. Blessings!!!!!

They look like you patch a problem! I love your replacement solution. And I so love that you did not rewired the sconces. I’m always like why with today’s technologies with battery pack or bulb! Good for you! Very nice office transformation! Love il! And someone suggested black lacquer finish, that is what I would do too!

Good morning and congratulations 🎈 The office looks great. I was sad to see the closet file drawers go too…loved that idea and used it to build a similar hall closet version. My vote for the desk is to stain it to match the bookshelves…if possible. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us with your skills and design! I’m a FL girl and love the old FL homes. You and your husband have done so much to your home; I would love to see a whole home transformation tour. Could be an “easy” (but wanted) content filler as you get busier preparing for your baby. :)
Beautiful space. Very relaxing to watch your videos. The only comment I would add is that the ceiling crown molding trims should probably be painted brown to match the coffered ceiling trim and the brown color theme rooms.
Hard to do, but the Navy has a tradition of having Rosewood furniture from Asia, with a lacquer finish. Getting that red color from paint or stain would be a trick. But you could do the same thing in jet black with a lacquer finish and it would fit right into the aesthetic.

I have 1 daughter and 4 grandchildren, my only regret is that I didn’t have more children, so I could have more grandchildren ! ❤ P.S.
