Thank you so much for all these ideas and the pictures to illustrate. Very inspiring. Apart from the first one: I never got the thing about having so many pillows on a bed. Whether in a 5 stars hotel or at home, these just bother me so much as I have to remove them all to keep just the ones I need to rest and sleep. And what a pain to tidy the room!
I’ve seen you using and mentioning strip lighting in quite a few videos. I’d love to see a video focussing specifically on these; choosing, size (length), placing, installing, and evaluating whether it’s worth replacing an existing light.
I'm an artist and I can tell you, find a local artist for a painting, even if they don't have your particular thing they will gladly make one for you. You support local artists AND have an original piece to enjoy and pass on to your family, it's a win-win situation :)
I agree that design comes down to layering and texture. Could you do a video (or an article in your newsletter) about how to layer and texture a small bathroom? Thank you!
As a person who does not like to have a pendant light hanging above themselves while sleeping, it is really tough for me to think of ideas for which ceiling light to pick for my bedroom. For exampe, using only two ambient lights without a ceiling light, makes the bedroom too dark to properly find things while getting up at a dark winter morning. So I would really appreciate new ideas!
Do you ever cover outdoor dining settings? Debate for me is expensive vs cheap. Is there really a big difference between say a bunnings dining set or ikea set vs something from freedom/castlery/etc?
Beds should contain either 1, 2 or 4 pillows only - up to a maximum of two per person - up to a maximum of two people. They must all be actual pillows. There is no place for surplus cushions on a bed.
Do you have a recommendation on high quality curtains that drape well? Ikea uses natural materials but they are so lightweight they don't drape nicely. I'm shopping online so not sure how to tell quality / feeling / weight
Hey! I really like your content and I’m binge watching it for some time now. Idk what happenes in this video, but the audio quality is not what I’m used to when watching your videos. (I really like your content, its just a constructive criticism)
Ohh interesting, is the audio too loud or is the clarity off? I usually notice when something is off but I didn't here and we didn't change any setting. I'll definitely pay more attention to it.
Do you have space to reorient your bed in the room? If not, one tip I would suggest which Reynard has shared on an older video is to hang wall to wall drapes behind your bed.
@@mark9294 I could have yes at my own discretion, but my windows are almost floor to ceiling, double pane height, so there was no exposed drywall to put drywall screws into. IT had to be drilled into the wooden casing that housed the windows. He had no problem with it; he just would have him come and install them while I helped. That way, if anything went wrong, I wasn't liable, and he had more control over the placement on the wood above the windows.
Hey Reynard. What is the right pillow size for a 160cm bed - queen i guess in US. I do have 2 50 by 70cm and they seems so tiny on a bed. I just don't understand why 50 by 70 is the industry standart.
Heres my number one tip. I let my wife do it. Shes amazing at making a house a home, without making it like a show home that you dont want to sit on anything
Why do you want your bedroom to feel expensive? Why does this channel make good content, then always circle back to how to look expensive or how to avoid looking cheap? It's instagram addicted nonsense. If you find yourself ever asking if stuff looks cheap, it does (and you are not wealthy)
There is perceived quality to expensive versus cheap things. I think he merely means making your space look 'elevated', appearing 'high quality', or feeling 'luxurious'.
Because having a cheap looking space actually affects your sleep and overall mental health. Elevating your space, especially your bedroom, is game changing.
You can have expensive things that look tacky. It is all about taste and paying attention to details. People who are not wealthy are also worthy of an elevated look.

I put a 10x14 rug in my bedroom - larger than recommended. It made my bedroom look so much larger and cozier.
A larger rug won't make your bedroom look larger.
@ I would have thought the same, but I know it has

time to do a makeover for our bedroom, this is coming very timely!! taking notes here. :)

Thanks for the mattress suggestion I am sharing this video ASAP with my husband. ❤🎉😊
Thanks for the useful tips 🙏
Love your videos man! I need some help with buying the right furniture for my bedroom. Can you make a furniture guide for a small bedrooms? Thanks😃
When I adopted my cat, she quickly taught me not to leave anything on the nightstands, not even lamps.
love love this!thank you! very informative

I've never understood why people want a bedroom that looks like a hotel. When I travel, I can't wait to get home to a personal, cosy bedroom.
I guess I don’t know what cosy means then
Layering with several throws and multiple pillows takes time. Why not if there is nothing better to do.
We've got 15 feet of floor to ceiling west facing windows in the bedroom! I've yet to come up with window treatments that really work for that room.
Too bad they don’t sell their mattresses in the U.S. 😢I would have bought one. Really enjoy your tips🎉
Hi!! What is the name of the paint color on the wall behind you? It is very nice and neutral without being yellow!!
Hey Reynard, where are your beautiful green bedside tables from?

Nice video as usual. I fall for that olive duvet set, any link please?
Good gracious - image having to remove 5 or pillows every night and putting them back every morning... never ever!!!
good vid. Why nail cutter in nightstand? like you cut them in bed?
On the floor beside the bed. No specific reason but I like doing it when chilling and doing nothing.
What's the minimum distance between the bottom of the bed and the wall?
Where did you get your green night tables?
What is that art peace @ 13:44?
Looks cool for my bedroom
looking for a large rug now!
Thanks
That's, of course, _Back Seat_ by Jennifer Daily. It's a sold-out piece but maybe you can find something else by her that you like.

Any suggestions for a stupidly sized window behind the bed?
Normally beds heads faces the window.
@boxoffisa not possible in this room

@@katasticone I get it. Bed lamps, a bed carpet, nice curtains would make a difference.
:10:30 the best thing i did was convince my landlord to allow me to put in long blackout curtains with a opaque white one to help filter light
You had to convince them? Can’t you put in window treatments at your discretion?

@@boxoffisa Got mine 27 years ago. Sold out, sorry
Then buy a husband😂 😂😂 There are plenty of male designers out there
