He has this sort of brilliant bright light behind his eyes that's always there and you can see the sparks of creativity. Then when he speaks its almost as though you were listening to your grandfather. Something in his voice evokes this feeling he's got this sort of wisdom only gained by so many years of life and experience. It's incredible.

Holy shit. I didn't actually expect that much from this. I just watched it because it was linked from another one of the W "Casting Calls," and I was curious. Midway through this I realized I was watching something AMAZING. I can absolutely picture a gender reversed (or simply male version of Holly Golightly) with him in that role. His delivery is simultaneously vulnerable, sad, charming, and whimsical. They should be contradictory, and yet somehow he manages to combine them all in this snippet of a performance.

I don't understand his some ppl say he's not a good actor. Even in this short clip he just radiates a sad vulnerability, a sincere emotion of what tiffanys means to the character, a slight whimsical but charming aura. And his eyes man. They just radiate so much when he's acting. I loved him in Les mis, theory of everything and fantastic beasts.

Ikr? In the actual movie Audrey Hepburn delivers those lines in more of a lighthearted way. Love how Eddie's was more thoughtful and emotional.
It's harder to pick up the sadness in the original scene because Holly doesn't like to let others in. She'd rather wall up all her emotions with the utmost positivity, so when she says something like this which is quite heartbreaking, it sounds witty. That's the complexity of the character.
