Nicely done! I remember renting this. There was a moving platform part that was impossible for me, I just gave up on it. Its one of the only times I ever gave up on a Megaman game, I gotta fix that someday
tbh I use an emulator but do not use any cheats, I do it the classic way, it's more fun and tense when you know that if you run out of "continues", it's all over ;p
I'm willing to bet it was the first Wily stage in this game. That level is extremely difficult and has caused many people to give up on this game, myself included until I memorized that entire section.
Nice work. Wily Machine was always a pain for me to no damage. Word of advice. You actually CAN do the Atetemino fight with just the Buster. You just need to buy the Arrow shot first. It's a fun challenge.

Doing a buster-only run certainly shows a willingness to challenge yourself. In fact, I know a guy whose brother played the original Mega Man 3 for NES using only the buster, as a kid, and completed the game. What makes it funny is that at the time, he didn’t actually know how to use the bosses’ weapons.

Mega Man 8 voices suck, but the localization is really good. I love how they handled Search Man getting burned by the Fire Sword: "Hell, no!" in the west, the Japanese version was "Goddamn, No!"

His weapon is also powerful. I dislike these buster-only runs. I get it, you're skilled. It also makes the fights *drag.* I really should be at least somewhat complementary, though. This *is* a no damage run.
That isn't a surprise, that level is the hardest level in this game and practically requires you to memorize the entire snowboarding section to even have a chance of succeeding.
