I’ve heard it feels incredible on ax-52 for sure! Stalhta’s also one of my “comfort food weapons” but I’m waiting to do some official experimenting with it in 1999 until they fix the primary acuity bug. For people wondering, primary acuity applies a multiplicative crit chance buff on a few weapons rn, stahlta is one of them.
Cyte-09 comes to mind in solving the ammo problem if you didn't want to use Primary Crux, but if we are not using Cyte, I had another idea: It may be also be worth noting that the gun may feel better with higher magazine capacity and you can slot in Shotgun Elementalist, but have to give up something in return. Maybe Laser Sight could be replaced and the 90% status damage increase on this beast could tip it over to be better and not to forget the 60% more magazine is pretty much another 125 bullets maybe which means less reloading and more uptime in shooting, especially with the new arcane. I know losing out on critical chance might make things worse on paper, but perhaps it's actually fine or recommended change if you decide to run this weapon on Citrine or maybe Zephyr.
Hi there! You are correct about elementalist doing more overall damage, as status damage is always going to do more, however, and I don't blame you because much of this information is misconstrued across the community, but status damage is not worth the investment in practical levels unless the weapon cannot secure kills on it's own. Many builds that feature status damage are specifically designed for level cap content (9999) or at least content higher than 300+ steel path content. The reason it's not worth investing to for practical content (Anything you don't need to do an endurance survival run to achieve a higher level of enemies in) is because we can just outright kill the enemy instead of relying on status damage DoT effects. Still, some weapons can thrive with a DoT built even in lower end content if their direct damage is not high enough to achieve a comfortable kill time on standard enemies in practical content, but the kuva kohm does not suffer from this drawback. TLDR: Status Damage takes priorty on higher than 300+ Steel Path Enemies. Ignore status DoT if below 300+ Steel Path (In the Kuva Kohm's case)
@@haderaxe Noted, and figured as much, though I discovered this mod is better suited on a special build with Primary Plated Rounds arcane and maybe citrine enjoyers.
Great video! Love the weapon and am always happy to hear that it got better somehow (: I watched while preparing breakfast so I might have misheard but what riven stats do you recommend for the kuva kohm?
I never recommend Rivens because of how hard they can be to get. I’m not exactly sure what I would look for. Maybe fire rate and and an element? I’m not sure, though I spend a long time doing testing with what I have available and if I don’t have a Riven, I don’t really consider them.
So, I did not take that into account on pen and paper, but in practice, at least at steel path 200, PPB came out on top. I see your reasoning, but anything that survives the first shot or 2, will be doing so through damage attenuation or status resistance so tick damage won’t help there unfortunately. For levels above 200, though, you most likely will see an increase from blaze due to armor strip. But at 200, you are doing enough damage to ignore the resistance armor offers them without having to strip. Jade shadows heavily reduced the effectiveness as armor, so it’s not as important to strip as it was pre-Jade shadows. Corrosion use to be a staple for me before that update because of how strong armor was, it can still be a hassle today, but not enough to deem armor strip mandatory for most practical content. For endurance runs and EDA, however? Absolutely bring armor strip.
No, not unless you plan on going to level cap or anything, if it’s only 200 Steel path, direct damage will always be better than dot, because why wait when you can kill them instantly?
You need armour strip. Get tauforged emeral shard, put corrosive heat on weapon and viral on diriga companion. You are gonna shread. Alternatively you can put viral on main and corrosive on diriga. 2:36 Magnetic strafe is useless especialy when you use other sources of fire rate like arcane tempo. The magnetic element decreases chance to apply other more important elements.
Oh, no you don’t need any of that. Video covers everything you need. Feel free to add or change it however you want, however. But also keep in mind the video IS on steel path 200+, so you don’t need full strip. Been like that ever since jade shadows btw. A lot of big RUclipsrs like to milk the armor strip train, so I understand why you would think it’s necessary, it isn’t, though. Maybe if you want to push level cap content it would be a LITTLE stronger? But at level 200 steel path, you’re actually gonna be hurting your damage because you’ll be sacrifice up front damage for 100% armor strip. Viral on companion works on plenty of weapons, but not high pellet count weapons. Like I explain in the video, you will apply max stacks of viral basically every time your shoot a target (multi shot can apply and take advantage of viral in the same instance of damage btw) so you’re actually gonna be waiting on diriga to catch up with you if you mod it for viral. Again, this changes at LEVEL CAP, but I’m not gonna make a build for content only 1% of the community participated in and would rather make my builds more practical. I mention this often. Magnetic strafe is actually one of the most useful mods in the build too, so no, it is not wasted. Magnetic helps with 1, overguard, but 2, because it adds more damage from savvy not only from itself, but from the electrical proc as well. (again, another change in jade shadows, so I understand if you’re out of the loop) I do recommend watching the video, however instead of just skipping to the build if you find yourself confused as I do explain a lot of this IN the video.
Ok, just farmed up my lich for a Kohm. Literally the last of all 20 weapons to spawn, and it was a 27% heat. My original Kohm was a 25% toxin. RIP me, can’t even get a decent valence upgrade after all that
Eh? He’s alright I guess, but you’re better off not using a 32-48 pellet weapon with him if you don’t want non-weak spot hits to work against your 3. I’ve finalized a vesper build that he excels with, though that I’m looking forward to uploading soon, though.
Yup, I’ve made a few videos for it during whisper in the walls, now I’m doing it for 1999. Lots of new stuff for us to play around with. Gotta find a way to make content that isn’t following my usual roguelite formula for when MH Wilds comes out too.
if you have another source of Viral in your build (Panzer Vulp, Diriga w/Manifold Bond, Nourish, etc.) try modding for Blast keep in mind the larger explosion from Blast procs has 2 triggers: enemy death, AND reaching 10 stacks. with the fire rate and status chance here, you'd be hitting that 10 stacks and getting big booms quite often, which doesn't just increase the AOE, but alos increases single target damage due toi the target that had 10 stacks also taking the explosion damage
Blast doesn’t work to well on low burst damage weapons because it only take 30% of the weapons damage and applies it to an AOE. In most cases with fast firing weapons, Blast is largely insignificant. Gas on the other hand could be a solid AOE option if you wanted some of that, but this build applied viral faster than diriga can since a single shot will apply 10 stacks of viral because of the sheer amount of pellets coming out. I’m currently trying to make a vesper build, and blast is absolutely disgusting on it because 30% of 21 million is enough to kill anything near the target that gets tapped. Blast is incredible on snipers or other types of single target weapons.
I’m still testing it out, unfortunately it doesn’t seem to strong for GENERAL purpose use. But it excels if you allow it to compliment an already tailored build (cyte-09 with pistol acuity and cannonade for example).
The Kuva Kohm has alway... never mind, you hit it.
It was never a matter of it not being good, just a matter of having 2 mags and that's it lol.
Tbh i didn't expect i will see something new but you broaden my horizon about this arcane good tip dude and good luck
I also love this arcane for the Stahlta, AX-52, etc. Feels great to have all that extra ammo on them ^_^

Currently cooking a build for the kohm the spams cyte 09 2 so you never actually have to reload

Only 5000 from Aio for your Somachord.
Also recommend Pyscho Killian, Numb and Arsenal.
@@MetalGearTenno I'll give them a listen too
I agree, I’m not a huge fan of energized munitions not only cuz it feels like wasting a heimlinth slot but also its WAY too short😭

Is that Blaze vs PPB dps taking -50% enemy armor into calculation? What bout the dps 1sec after from the heat procs on top?

Alright! Finally, I can enjoy Warframe without actually having to play it.
Sir Shmirtz would definitely be a more hands on warframe enjoyer. Just saying.
If you really want to be brain dead just use Torid Incarnon.
Hi, would shotgun elementalist be better than PPB? Since there’s heat and heavy slash weighting on Kuva kohm.
No, not unless you plan on going to level cap or anything, if it’s only 200 Steel path, direct damage will always be better than dot, because why wait when you can kill them instantly?

Primary Crux on Dera Incarnon or AX-52 = INFINITE AMMO
Yes, I do not have either of those weapons atm, but I am VERY much looking forward to using primary crux on them when I do get them.
