Im preparing for my national certificate exam for caregiver and this video is really helpful and informative, not to mentioned they capture different angles of the dummy patient which help me visualize the right procedure.. thanks for the effort. Appreciate it... It really help me for my review..
in the Philippines, they teach a proper way of making/holding a wash cloth, because wrinkles in the wash cloth like you see in the video can make discomforts in the patients skin.
Thanks for the tip! 😊 We appreciate the feedback and will definitely keep that in mind for future videos. Don't forget to subscribe for more helpful nursing tips! 👍📚
I totally agree with you. A towel should be placed under the patient in what area is been cleaned to prevent the bed linens from been wet. She kept saying client. In nursing care you say patient. She say client then patient then client. It should be patient. I thought she would have done the hair first come down😊

Hi! 😊 Thanks for your comment! You’re absolutely right, some techniques do involve pouring water on the foot and then drying it. Different institutions may have slightly varying approaches, so it’s always great to learn from each other. Don't forget to subscribe for more nursing tips! 💡👩⚕️
You're absolutely right! It's crucial to maintain good hygiene practices when dealing with wounds or injuries. Placing a clean limb on a dirty surface can introduce bacteria and increase the risk of infection. Using a clean towel or another clean barrier is a smart approach to create a safe and hygienic environment when tending to wounds. This helps reduce the chances of complications and promotes a faster and smoother healing process. Your attention to these details is commendable and essential for proper wound care.

Hi @nnekynwakanma8773! We used a total of 8 washcloths for the bed bath: one for the face, one for each arm, one for the chest, one for the abdomen, one for each leg, and one for the back. Thanks for watching! 😊 Don't forget to subscribe for more nursing skills tips! 🩺✨
Hi @aleciafinlayson6386! Great question! In the video, we focus on the body, but it's also important to gently wash the hair if needed. Be sure to check out our other videos for more tips and subscribe for more nursing skills! 😊🛁
Why are you teaching this bed bath to use the same wash cloth and rinse cloth to do the bed bathe. Here in the USA we are taught to use a different cloth for each section of the body for rinsing and washing. But here your say to use the same clothes over and over again.
Thank you for your feedback! 😊 Bed bath techniques can vary, and using separate cloths for different body areas is indeed recommended in many places to prevent cross-contamination. We'll consider including this in future videos! Don’t forget to subscribe for more nursing tips! 📚✨
Thanks for your comment! 😊 Every nurse has their own style, but it's important to always prioritize comfort and care for the patient. Hope the video was helpful, and don't forget to subscribe for more nursing tips! 👍💡
Hi @NjukemMary, thanks for your comment! Yes, we do clean the private areas, but we skipped that part for this video to keep it RUclips-friendly. 😊 Don't forget to subscribe for more nursing tips and skills! 🌟🩺
