This was a great video thank you. I've had the drs get the ultrasound machine to find my veins before and around 6 attempts and it hurt! Now I can actually visualise exactly what they are doing as I never watch them doing it
She is amazing at the demonstration, as soon as she opened the needle I shut my eyes 😂😂😂 my dream was to be a nurse what prevented me from becoming one was the needle, 💉 nothing in this world fears me than the needle. I have never understood why. When I see even in emojis my heart drops. 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for your comment! 😊 It’s completely normal to feel uneasy about needles, and many people share that fear. Over time, with practice and knowledge, it becomes easier to handle! 💉💪 Don't forget to subscribe for more helpful nursing tips! 😊

I have a question , I saw that you cleaned the insertion site before you apply tourniquet, but when apply tourniquet, you might accidentally make the insertion area dirty again,I saw your rubber tourniquet wasn't in a good control. Is there a better order for that?
Thank you for your question! 😊 You're right; it’s important to maintain a clean site. One way to avoid contamination is to apply the tourniquet first, then clean the insertion area. Always remember to handle the tourniquet carefully to keep it clean! Don’t forget to subscribe for more tips! 🩺✨

First of all, this practice is not in accordance to the standards. chkoraprep should be applied using hashtag or back and forth motion with friction. Secondly, you should avoid the antecubital area as well as the wrist. 3rd you should never go back and palpate the site you just cleaned with your glove that is contaminated. They come out of a box on the wall so they are not that clean. Aseptic Non-touch technique should be used for all IV insertions.
Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right about the technique and aseptic practices - using friction with back-and-forth motion for cleaning and avoiding re-palpating the site is crucial for maintaining sterility. Great points on site selection too! 🙌 Don't forget to subscribe for more helpful tips! 😊
Thanks for the comment, @lilybean1000! 😊 It's super important to follow the 30-second rule to ensure patient safety and reduce infection risks. Keep practicing, and don't forget to subscribe for more tips! 👍🔔
It’s not a sterile procedure and they’re not sterile gloves. They are the regular gloves that you pull out of the box with your hands. If you were paying attention you would have heard her explain that.
