    Going to look at this exact vehicle this weekend because I'm getting a travel trailer. It has great towing capacity and a cover for the hitch receiver. I was looking at the Overland originally until I came across this one on craigslist. Thank goodness for craigslist because I don't have to pay the dealer fees and taxes. Great review!

      Thanks for the compliments! This is a great choice. Since it is based on the Overland, you get all the Overland equipment, but you also get the awesome appearance as well. I love the Trivalent Chrome trim. My only gripe would be that the window lines would also be Trivalent, not silver, but that's me.

      kwakubomani you got this on Craigslist ? From owner ? How much ?

      The Jeep sales price was $38K with 7K miles on it. However, I did not get it because I did research and found that 2014 -2016 jeeps were having some issues. I ended up going with an Audi Q7.

    Maybe next time not near an expressway?

      Thanks!! It's just a busy highway. Unfortunately that's the best place in the entire dealership to do the videos. It's not my favorite place, but it's the most free of distractions.

    Did they fix the electrical and transmission issues on these? If I buy a 2014-2015 with low miles will it be covered under warranty from the dealer or I’m just shit out of a bunch of money ??????? I’m really thinking about buy a grand Cherokee

    this is a very nice Jeep the only thing I don't like is there are no badges other then the Jeep badge it should say on the back of this Jeep High altitude so people know it's not a Overland or basic Limited instead it's doesn't have a badge on it so as far as I know it could be a fully loaded Limited lol also the seats should say High Attitude as well

      Why do you care what other people know? You buy a car for yourself, not for them

      I just bought one used and I actually prefer that it is understated. I don't know if it makes it look more utilitarian or commando or something like that. I think the trivalient chrome is the key drawing the eye of the informed enthusiast.

    it looks like it sits higher than the normal ones for some reason?

    • @NeighborhoodCarReviews
      @NeighborhoodCarReviews  8 лет назад +1

      +Carlos maldonado You are correct. This vehicle has the Quadra-Lift™ Adaptive Air Suspension, which was in Off Road II Mode. That puts it about 2 inches higher than normal ride height.

    • @ngwalker00
      @ngwalker00 8 лет назад +2

      +Carlos maldonado At highway speeds it will take it out of off-road mode automatically and go to AERO mode. It also has Exit mode which drops it as low as it will go for easier exit position for shorter drivers.

    Does the high altitude come with a woodgrain steering wheel option?

    • @NeighborhoodCarReviews
      @NeighborhoodCarReviews  8 лет назад +1

      +Flyy Mal No, unfortunately, it doesn't. It also doesn't have the Overland script on the seats, even though it's technically an Overland. Still a very nice vehicle. I'd take that almost over the Summit. The only thing the Summit has above this is the Alcantara headliner, and while that's nice, it doesn't mean that much to me.

      +CommunityChrysler thanks to this video i made my decision to get this car by the end of the year!
      But quick question...
      Is there any difference between the 2015 & the 2016 High altitude grand cherokee besides the gear selector? Like are the speakers better, is there one more option to customize the gauges', is the seats more comfortable? Whats new?

    • @NeighborhoodCarReviews
      @NeighborhoodCarReviews  8 лет назад +1

      +Flyy Mal Except for the gear lever, they are carryover.

      +Ken Ahenakew Yeah. The Overland has the Harman/Kardon sound as well.

    mine is the same but no cd player why?

    • @NeighborhoodCarReviews
      @NeighborhoodCarReviews  8 лет назад

      +Lidys Rodriguez CD players are optional anymore. With Bluetooth formats being more mainstream, that's the way manufacturers are heading, too.

    • @ngwalker00
      @ngwalker00 8 лет назад

      +Lidys Rodriguez Mine didn't come with the CD player either. One thing I noticed different was that my sound system was the 19 speaker Harmon/Kardon system that has chrome accents on the front door speakers.

    why do they call it the overland high altitude,when it has summit dual pipes ,a summit front end,its more of a summit base then an overland

    • @NeighborhoodCarReviews
      @NeighborhoodCarReviews  8 лет назад +2

      It actually starts its life as an Overland, according to the window sticker and build sheet. The Summit is still a bit different and the Overland doesn't have the high-end leather and the Alcantara headliner.
