Great review, however, I would like to point out one small mistake. At about 15:10 when you were talking about the ambient temp sensor. That is actually a small LED light that shines down onto the center console for ambiance. I thought it was for the temp sensor too but the dealer informed me otherwise. I tested it in my 2011 Summit and it is in fact a light. Thanks for the review!
Great review Mike. I had a 2012 Jeep Cherokee Lareo and recently traded it for a 2014 Jeep Cheorkee Lareo (40,000 original miles). I instantly changed the wheels and my Lareo (on the outside) looks just like the Overland in your video. Thinking about adding chrome door knobs, chrome mirror covers and the Overland grille and light package (about $500 for everything). What do you think? Let the Lareo ride Or splurge a bit and veer into the Overland look (lol)....
Man this JGC is super nice! 😍 I could watch this over and over drooling 🤤 currently I drive a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.7 V6 w 153k original freeway miles on it. If I had a choice this model would be my trade in choice anybody know how much a used version of this runs these days? my Jeep still runs excellent atm but the miles is getting up there sigh. 😔
PMC05 the 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland goes from $25,000-$35,000 depending on options year and mileage most 2014 go for $28,000 and most 2015 go for $34,000
Jster Smithson thank you for the infos my man! My plans to trade my jgc couple years from now and possibly the 2015/2016 model I could definitely afford that 28/30K range and I don’t mind it being used, few years old 30/40k miles on em save me a little dough! ✌🏽🤫 can’t wait!
PMC05 ya its smarter to buy them when they are 2 years old you save a lot of money I can't wait to upgrade to one of these some day but for now my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.7 liter H.O V8 is good enough for me
I dont understand locking the door. You lock the door using remote. If you want to open the door you can just touch the sensor or handle and open it. Thats sounds vulnerable to me. Anyone can just walk up to the car and open it. Am i mistaking?. I just purchased 2015 Jeep grand Cherokee. Anytime i approach the door just by touching the handle, it unlocks. Anybody can just take the car away. I am trying to understand this. Same with tailgate. Doesn't lock. I left it overnight , in the morning without using remote, i decided to open it to see if it locked?. It didnt. Anyone has idea?. I am about to take it to dealer to explain what i dont understand. makes no sense to me unless I am doing something not right. It doesn't even have CD sloty. Just radio. common now, this is 2017
Oh, thanks. "proximity". humm, so that means to be sure it locks, i should just leave the key inside and try opening the door as a stranger and it wont open?. Indeed, i have been having my key either in my pocket or in my hand when i approached the car. But still the problem is, even while i am inside the house, the proximity can still be sensed. Stranger may still have access. by simply opening the car bcus , sometimes, i unlock the door from inside. Thats why i park my car in front of camera. This is 2015 basic model by the way. No remote start.
He didn't say top of the line, he said virtually top of the line, it's because in 2014 the top of the line was the Overland Summit, there was no Summit version. The difference between the Overland and Overland Summit is that the majority of the options in the Overland are standard in the Overland Summit version
this was a very good full in-depth review of this Jeep you did a good job keep up the good work
I love the color….!!! It’s beautiful 😍
Can you find me one of these? Yes, in today's market. One that you feel is reliable in good condition?
Dammit that was a good tune

Thanks for the correction. I recently found out about the light when I started my "AT NIGHT" series.

CDs have been obsolete for at least 12 years.

didnt notice this. Should be re-branded in a new fashion. But my rented 2017 Nissan maxima has CD. Is it only obsolete for Jeep?
Might be time to get rid of the ole Chevy Equinox

2424Goldie There actually was a Summit in 2014 it was 2013 and older that was the overland summit.
