My hair's naturally wavy but most of my life I've been washing it everyday with no conditioner so I sorta forgot it's not straight, I hope this video will help me speed up fixing it
Jeez bro no conditioner is wild especially if you shampoo super often at that point you’d just have to get a buzz cut because there’s no way all that damage is just gonna un-happen
@@exoticprince1524 nah it just makes your hair look more nice and it helps your hair being constant for the day. I also don‘t use conditioners because it damages your hair
@@spacekicker1251 conditioners don't damage your hair if done right. If you live in a dry and humid place, considering using it once or twice a week and the rest of the days just wash with water. Don't forget that it's for your hair, not scalp.
@exoticprince1524 I only started using conditioner a few months ago and I don't know y never bothered to use it. Shampoo clears ur hair off any moisture so u should use conditioner after to re- moisturise it. Leave it in 1-3 mins and shampooing and rose it out.
I had a major annoying cowlick issue because of my extremely straight hair. So I grew my hair out until it was anywhere from 5 to 7 inches in length. Then took a 10mm drill bit to my hair stylist and told her that I wanted that size of perm curls (simply because it's more on the wavier side than the curlier side). Note: The smaller the curling "rods" are, the closer your hair will get to looking like an afro. Major glowup. I felt like a new person. I've been getting perms done every 3 months. Im a regular at my salon so she charges like 40 bucks to so it.
how long have you been getting them? I've gotten them a few times but im always worried about the damage that it could cause to my hair if I continue doing it the rest of my life lol
I'm afraid of getting perms cuz my hair falls off pretty easily and perms could severely damage it. I'm only 18, and although I have a full head of hair and no visible bald spots/forehead recession, my hair is really thin and my genetics for it are ass too (my entire mom's side of the family has lost their hair before 45).
Other quick method guys: 1) Wash your hair. Use old cotton tshirt to rinse them out a bit so they are damp but not dripping with water. Cotton, because a terrycloth towel loops catch, rise and damage hair scales making hairs tangle and look bad. 2) Apply small amount of "curl activator cream" on your wet, damp hair. If you want, now is the LAST time to comb your hair if you want a side part. 3) Apply small amount of medium hold hair gel. Put your head down and move your hair close and away from your head with your hands, all around your head, for 2-3 minuters, so the curls will form. After applying gel, don't comb your hair anymore. 4) Either let your hair dry naturally or use diffuser. 5) After they are dry, if the gel made your hair curls a bit stiff, you can "crush" those curls with your hands a bit, so the whole hairstyle is more loose. If it's too stiff and looking unnatural, swap gel for even lighter hold.
My dad has naturally curly hair but it’s not showing and for me too I cut out shampoo used sea salt spray with some type of oil to not drie it out also puperty was a mass change for it
True but you might have wavy hair too, if you have curls just cut them or grow them out to wave your curls, if you have straight hair just grow your hair out for a few months and see you might see curls or waves.
@@benevolent2077 Exactly its even a disaster that teens are copying it. I have natural wavy hair and i hate it people with straight hair can choose if they want it. I cant i wish i would have beautifull straight hair.
Here’s my advice, if u got straight ass hair try doing no shampoo or less than twice shampoo a week, my straight hair start gaining texture after doing that, it’s like I wake up and already have texture and look kinda wavy, if u want even more texture u can just apply some sea salt spray too

For those who don't know the negative effects of salt water pls read this👇.. 1.Salt water can dehydrate your hair and scalp, leaving it feeling dry, brittle, and frizzy. 2.Salt water can cause damage to the hair cuticle, which is the outermost layer of your hair. This damage can lead to split ends, breakage, and frizz. 3.Salt water can irritate your scalp, especially if you have sensitive skin. This can lead to itching, redness, and flaking. So please... Think twice before using it😊
@@pxlooted6806 not really, maybe it'll be less trendy cuz all the perm's damage are going to catch up with ppl who did it, but ppl with natural curly hair will always be attractive i guess, it's been like that since the roman empire xD
The washing less often part is wrong, water doesn’t strip your hair of natural oils, its shampoo that does that, wash your hair everyday just try and use shampoo less and less until your hair gets used to it
Same man my hair is straighter than Iron man and its thinner so most of the time when my hair is dry its very straight it cant even maintain a hairstyle just comes down right on top of my eyes so its really annoying and i dont want short hair long hair suits me and my hair is getting prematurely grey like 7 to 8 strands are white so its really annoying sometimes i want to get completely bald but since i have never been bald in my whole life so it will shock my family and friends and theyight even make fun of me, so idk what to do atp
Weve got exactly the same problem bro, my hair is straight and fine and always just rests down on my forehead making it look like a helmet😂. Using a lot of volumising conditioner and sea salt spray can make it look wavy temporarily but it never stays like that. I guess the best thing u can do is make the hair as healthy as possible and it cant really look bad then.
