I'm from San Francisco too and I love it here... I love this comment section and this video cus I'm used to people saying bad things about SF and why California sucks as a whole. It always hurts to hear those but seeing people compliment my home is very refreshing, thx for posting this
You guys made me cry. If you listen to the prevailing opinions about San Francisco you'd think it was a sewer. This is my hometown and it is the best place on planet earth. San Francisco is a beautiful place and always will be. As you guys have proven, the best is not hard to find if you take the time to look for it. Thank you!
Native San Franciscan and I was very proud and satisfied with this video.
DAMN SO BEAUTIFUL. I miss San Francisco... the greatest city on the West. I live in Oregon & im 24 now; I was there in 2009-2010 to help a close friend move in with his dead. God this that place is amazing. Going to go back SOON!! Getting a tattoo in every city 🙏🏼
Honestly, I love San Francisco! The weather, food, and environment are so perfect! I wish I went after this video to go to all of these places!!
+Jenni Koh couldn't agree with you more Jenni!!
Crossing the Golden Gate bridge on bikes to sit in a forest that makes time it self stand still is worth taking a weekend trip to Muir Woods National Park. Doing some research on the Red Wood trees before going and knowing what makes the forest so quiet is a good idea as well.
San Francisco is an amazing place. For cheap eats (travelers on a budget) China Town and street tacos/ food trucks are the place to go.
I need to go back to this city. I miss it.
Trick Dog for cocktails yes! Gotta get out to the west side-- Land's End, Sutro Baths, Ocean Beach, and hanging with locals for lots of great food and bars.
San Francisco is definitely a city to put on my bucket list. Thanks for the guide.
Mursalin Talib Hey man, I would love your opinion on my Travel vlogs.
Great city with awesome features to explore the lively areas of san Francisco
Beautiful San Francisco i just love this city...
The best burrito in San Francisco, and the USA is El Farolito. On 24th and Mission near Bart. That's the one that gets all the recognition, and I do believe its the best. Being from California and trying them all
Alexander Travelbum What a noble aspiration!
Best burrito here in SD! ;p
Lucha Libre's Surf and Turf for life!
I can vouch for this
Alexander Travelbum He is right. El Farolito is really good... and that is also coming from a local native of SF.... it is a bit hole in the wall-ish but yummy!
Lol your so right... I’m from San Francisco and I don’t understand why people think that other place is good
Just now watching this 2 yr old vlog as today is Sept 2019 and so much has changed in SF .. we have lots if new skyscrapers, a new 4 block long transit center that has an amazing rooftop park , a new sports and entertainment arena , a renovated and expanded convention center etc... So everyone, please check out my city !!
San Francisco is mystical ! I’ll be back next January 2019 for my birthday !
Wow ! I love San Francisco ! Beautiful city !
you did a great job of SF in one day. I lived at Hayes and Baker about 8 blocks from where you had coffee and four blocks from Haight Ashbury. I loved living in SF. But it's a world class city and needs four days to explore not just one.
+Martin Hollick seriously you could spend so much time in San Francisco :)
4 days??? For me 3 months were still not enough. Love this city. For me the best city ever.
Absolutely love San Francisco. It was awesome seeing it thru your eyes! Thanks for this video!
Great videos guys! Loved that you included a lot of historical value to it.
Fun stuff and I'm glad you had a good time. I greet anyone I can that takes the time to visit from afar. Fifth gen SF native, I hope the current growing pains are just another phase in the city's (The City's) evolution.
...Fabulous San Francisco excursion, history and sound! You guys are the best! 💕
+Vince Smith 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I ❤️ SF! Love these style videos with all the history bits. 🌁🌉
Yes! Just had a group of friends move here so I'm going to visit next spring!
+Lacey Francis that's the way to travel!!
i loved the fact that it was not the typical touristy view. I love history and enjoyed the stories about the past. Thank you!!
La Taqueria is my favorite place. My grandfather would insist on going when he visited. So it’s nostalgic i guess. The chicken tacos is what to get.
Fantastic video! Different angle, and I so appreciate the information on my favorite city in America!
Really wish we would have seen something like this before our weekend in SF; we just kind of got lost in the city and played everything by ear. It will be nice to go back for a visit with this knowledge.
Great video! Nice to see a little glimpse to the history of SF! Gold rush is so intresting
Your well done, easy-going video takes me back to those ancient days in the late 60s when I was a student at Pomona College, 50 miles east of Los Angeles. I made frequent pilgrimages to San Francisco, to include two summers working and grokking, participating in peace marches against the Vietnam war, attending rock concerts in parks, the Fillmore Auditorium and the Avalon Ballroom.... Many of the restaurants, shops and coffee houses I frequented then are gone now, but others remain (City Lights Books, where I once saw Lawrence Ferlinghetti chatting with friends).... Still, the city remains a rich, highly diverse center of culture and entertainment.
These videos are so informative and I love it! They give me such a great guide before my travels to think about content and where I want to go with it! I followed their advice and that was probably the best burrito I have, and ever will consume.
Great vidéo for a great city ! i come to San Francisco this summer ! I'm so excited !
I love San Francisco! A long ago we were in San Francisco in August and it was so cold, 15C in August. I went back in October and the weather was perfect maybe 20C.
Sutro Baths Amazing location. We walked from Sutro Baths to the Golden Gate Bridge, what a beautiful walk.
We also walked from Castro to Twin Peaks, so beautiful.
lived here all my life and nice to see the places i havent been to for a while cause i do take this place for granted.
Spent 3 months in SF. The best experience in my life. Forgot to mention the Glide Memorial... Fantastic!!
Joris D Hey man, I would love your opinion on my Travel vlogs.
I did too in 1987 but I don't think I would dare set foot in that shithole today with what I've been seeing.
I loved every second of this video, I especially appreciate the historical facts you two throw out there I love that! Good work, keep it up.
Miguel Escalante Hey man, I would love your opinion on my Travel vlogs.
Wow! You guys really killed it. Your vlog style is super inspiring and made mus want to go re-experience places in our own city. We are so glad you featured San Francisco so beautifully!
Best travel show on RUclips!! So cool to see that you guys covered a lot of sites and even the history of the city! I love the way these videos are done and the soundtrack is fantastic!
Great vídeo!!! I'm from Brazil and I'm crazy about California 💙 please, do more vídeos like this. 😃
Thanks guys! Been there, fell in love with the city from the very beginning ❤
So interesting video! I didn't know a lot of thing about San Francisco that you mention. I want to travel there :)
+Nerea gracias Nerea :)
Great video. I'm a resident of this a San Francisco and seeing it through your eyes remind me how much I love this City. Next time you're here, be sure to check out Golden Gate Park and the Sunset, which is quickly becoming a nice walkabout neighborhood.
Hey, we local people already know what we have. Telling the entire world is not what we want. Let people discover on their own. We are already over crowded with outsiders. Shhhbh! It's our secret.
@@craigjgomez Not to worry. With the reputation that SF has outside your mind we're not rushing to visit your literal Shithole anytime soon.
Love all the history and stories!
+Jade Upton that's what we do 🙌🏼
Great video along with a history lesson. I love it so thanks. Jackie
Jacklyn Quin Hey, I would love your opinion on my Travel vlogs.
This is such a cool video! Thank you for sharing a variety of cool things to do in SF. You guys made review my outlook on the city. Im looking forward to going back. Excited for your next city travel video!
YAAS Twin Peaks! One of my favorite views in the city. That archaeological dig was really cool!
- Bernal Heights is an adorable neighborhood. If you walk to the top of Bernal Heights Park there's a tree swing with an incredible view of the city. Nearby Elsie street is this crazy small and hilly street with even more views. There are a bunch of little viewpoint parks as you take the stairs down the the hill.
- Stern Grove in the Outer Sunset is this amazing grove of trees and park space that's cut in a bowl shape so you walk down into it and when you look around you you see nothing but nature, no city! During the summer there's a concert series where everyone brings chairs and blankets and food.
- Divisadero (people call it "Divis") Street is one of my favs to walk down. Really awesome cafes, restaurants, and shops and it'll take you right to the north edge of the city in the Marina over some crazy hills yo.
At Christmastime go to the "Palace" Hotel for brunch on Saturday or Sunday! Make a reservation!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Magical place
Nice one guys, nailed it. I basically just pass through S.F. catching flights in and out since my mom lives in Mendocino County, so I head up there a lot. But there's some more I need to explore around the city.
Thanks for a helpful guide guys!
Lived in San Francisco my whole life and never get tired of exploring it. Great video :)
wow probably the most fun and easy appreciation of history of SF that i found. Will continue to follow!
Wow, I lived there for 10 months and I feel like I haven't explored nearly enough of the city. Thank you for all the tips, guys! Great video as always.
It's Lenka Hey, I would love your opinion on my Travel vlogs.
Absolutely Love San Francisco!
It is a disgusting city. Democrats have completely ruined it.
San Francisco, “the city”, is an amazing place to visit!! There is sooooo much to see and do, it never gets boring.
So much poop to step on.
As a San Franciscan I appreciated this well made video. As a drone pilot, I'd just like to offer a little advice in that you should calibrate the horizon before flight so your aerial footage is level. Most people probably wouldn't have noticed...but I'm sure some did. Keep up the good work!
Ok I give you guys a solid 👍
You did SF justice for such a short period of time you spent here.
+Anushka GVO thank you 🤙🏽
Wow, Vaga Brothers you guys are a class act. Every time I watch your vids it makes me want to travel....for context I have just returned from a 6 week trip and already have the itch again!!! Fabulous work, great production and always informative. I like.
So happy this one finally arrived! Next time you guys are in town you need to check out the parks of SF.
+Susannah Ryan thank you Susannah!! We got a top 10 video coming and feature a few :)
I’m from Oakland originally and have lived in the Bay Area my whole life.... but you still learn and can discover new things every day, why it’s awesome. Dig that you guys went back to the very beginning and enjoy hearing the hiSTORIES 👍✌️🌊
Oh! And you guys did pick La Taqueria.... “best” is a matter of personal preference really.... to me it IS the best burrito :) :P
Hey Guys! I loved seeing what you got up to in SF! Can't wait for the next adventure !
I just visited for the first time back in July of this year for a little over a week and I feel like I didn't even scratch the surface. Definitely have to go there again soon
Thank you for properly representing my home state of California!
+Run The Atlas got to properly represent our home state as well 🙌🏼
Great video guys! I’ve traveled and lived around the world but SF is and always will be my home.
Btw, NEVER refer to San Francisco as San Fran! It’s peeve of locals.
+thenikkiroom uh oh 🙃
+thenikkiroom uh oh 🙃
San Fran Frisco :D
So true 😂😂😂 I like SF or San Fransisco
True - locals call it Sanny Franny
Awesome video guys ! Thank you!
Love the video as always, you never disappoint. I was there last week and ate at La Taqueria, didn't try the burrito but I did try the taco dorado with lengua, and although it's the most expensive taco I've had it was also the best. And I'm from Mexico. So good!
exciting! I will be there next March!
Great guide guys, you did an amazing job as always!
I've never been to the US but San Francisco is definitely one of the cities I'm more eager to visit!
Lots of love and support from Italy :)
There's a new taqueria that's opened on Bush street called Tacorea, & I love their burritos. There's usually a line, and so worth it!
Absolutely loved this video. One of my favorite videos to date from Vagabrothers( which all of them are great). Keep up the good work guys. 💓
Amazing cinematography!
+Saitama Sensei thank you Saitama 🙏🏼
So awesome that you guys featured the Grateful Dead house in your vid! There was an amazing exhibit about the Summer of Love at the deYoung this past summer. SF was a cool place to be for the anniversary.
awesome vagabros!
Very good boys!!! You highlight a lot of important and original things about our lovely San Francisco.
Wow so much about San Francisco I didn`t know, thanks so much for the history and showing us great places. Also love Mark`s style :D. Keep up the great work and happy travels.
Great video! Will be there next month for the 4th!
So I’m basically very lucky to only live a 40 minute drive away from San Francisco? I’m from San Jose, but honestly the whole Bay Area and just the state itself is amazing! I agree, there shouldn’t be any compassion whether northern or southern California is better. Thanks for also bringing a new perspective of San Francisco, I would view it as a touristic city.
Oh my god! I was waiting for this video and pretty awesome, lovely❤️ Giving you 3 thumbs up👍👍👍
Love this video! You guys are always so inspiring interns of editing and the way you portray the story. :)
Thanks for stopping by my hometown. I miss it soo much but fyi dont forget to go to Mission Dolores, broadway, golden gate park and the rose garden
Dolores is the only good thing left in SF. Well I do like City lights while it lasts
Rocking that scarf mate 👌 awesome vid as always.
And we love you guys more. Again I enjoyed your video after the video then i close my eyes I believe that i am already there in that particular place with you buddies!
Thx for the tour vega bro's......
Well Marko, you just made a new fan out of me! I just checked out Jack Kerouac on The Steve Allen Show in 1959 and I was mesmorized! Thanks for the recommendation! Gotta go get that book!
bless you guys!))))
Amo San Francisco
👍👍👍👍👍 Another winner!
...and NOW I miss home! Thanks for shooting a video in my familiar haunts!
+Marilla Kay you have a lovely home. Sounds like you aren't there now though?
I said the same thing!
I live in the Near East currently!
great video, cant wait to get over there and explore again :)
Lyam Hitchens Hey man, I would love your opinion on my Travel vlogs.
When you're at Golden Gate bridge take an uber/lyft to Baker Beach and also go down the road to museum Legion of Honor.
When you're in the mission yes el Farolito is thee best burriton in SF, the best Nachos are at Pancho Villa Taqueria.
If you stop by in the Castro you have to stop in Hot Cookie.
If you're driving through the tenderloin you have to stop by for a fast cheap super yummy Vietnamese sandwich aka banh mi at Saigon Sandwich
If you're wondering what club to hit up on a friday or saturday night check out the calendars for Mezzanine, Public Works or Temple.
If it's just a bar you're interested in Polk Street has about 8-10 bars on it's street within 4 blocks of each other and plenty of pizza by the slice open afterwards til 3a.
My second favourite American city....after Santa Fe. I seem to remember them playing classical music in Grace cathedral.
+Steven Cassidy Santa Fe is amazing! We need to film there :)
I can't believe people actually get to LIVE in this rich, magical city 🙌🙌🙌❤❤❤
You clearly haven't been there.
great vids guys!!!!
You guys are so cool...keep up the great work guys 👍
Bless you!
+natureallmighty 🙏🏼🙏🏼
This bloody brilliantly guys! Love the level of detail you go into! 🙌🏼
SF my favorite city in the world, lived there try to come back ever since, but not easy to be able to live in the US as you know hahaha!! I agree with all the places in the videos, but there are some much more to see in SF, need a part 2 ;)

+Jackie Galindo 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Great guide guys and epic quality 👊🏻 Id would like to go sometime but accommodation is so damn expensive. Want to travel LA to NYC by coach and train. One day!
ExploreList there’s a beautiful thing for these expensive places called Coachsurfing ;) honestly saves my travels aha ! And wow a train ride from LA to NYC would be amazing !!
Such a great video! I loved all the historic bits, and your cool take on all the varied elements that led up to creating the amazing city that SF is today. It was a real pleasure to watch. And hey Marko... have you thought about doing a travel video on Provence?? ...You look a bit like an impressionist painter yourself! Well done guys, and give us a Part 2!
+
I love this video :) love you guys
Brenda Jacinto Hey, I would love your opinion on my Travel vlogs.
