@@random1380 I went to the same HS as S.E. Hinton, decades apart ofc, theres a tradition among some of the cooler teachers to take students to the clock tower where they can sign their name. I was lucky enough to have such a teacher, so there in the tower are the signatures of S.E. Hinton and a few hundred students, mine mixed in there somewhere. I've also been to the Admiral Twin many, many times, it's the drive in featured in the movie, pretty neat imo.

Forever Fall, the name of the forest where Jaune stood up to Cardin and first acted like a real leader.
Forever Fall, signifying Pyrrha's love for him. Forever falling in love.
Forever Fall, signifying Pyrrha's death. Forever fallen as a warrior.
Forever Fall, signifying Jaune's undying hatred for Cinder. Jaune will forever be at a state of unrest until Cinder Fall is dead.
Forever Fall, signifying that Jaune's not ready to let go of Pyrrha. Winter does comes after Fall, after all.

You can almost feel the wind on your face during this moment, along with all the weight that's been on Jaune's shoulders since that night. His broken heart and battered soul come into a full and somber light in that moment with Pyrrha's mother. You can tell how much he wants to scream, to beg for a chance to make things right. It's a quiet moment that rings with the fury of so much pain. It's actually quite beautiful: the stillness speaks volumes in that scene.

There is a episode called Forever Fall in RWBY Season 1. The interesting part is I think this song first played in both part 1 and 2 Forever Fall episodes. I was happy that this song came out. I have been listening to it and I keep thinking that this song symbolizes Jaune's feelings towards Pyrrha or just toward each other. Another interesting part of the title is that the red trees are like the ones in Forever Fall which is also the name of the forest in the episode "Forever Fall". In the episode, Jaune and Pyrrha are becoming close to one another after he fought back Cardin to save Pyrrha who he later reconciled with and asked her to train hom, which she gladly accepted.
Listening to the RWBY Volume 1 soundtrack, it seems this song is actually Pyrrha's leitmotif throughout the series; a few notes from it can be first heard _in Pyrrha's first appearance,_ way back in V1C3 _(an episode in which Pyrrha didn't even get a speaking role),_ and a "full" instrumental version of it can actually be heard in V1C5 when Jaune and Pyrrha team up in the forest during initiation. Obviously also plays throughout their rooftop scenes in both the first and second volumes...and its appearances in Volume 3 and Volume 4 should go without saying.

Oh wow. I am so glad to see you were able to put this up so fast. You never fail to impress Flynt. I guess you realized how important this scene was for a lot of viewers and wanted to get it up ASAP. And there is already art of this beautiful moment, well done finding it sir.
When I first saw Pyrrha's death in Volume 3 I was binging the series, so it was unexpected but it didn't really affect me... then there was the scene in Volume 4 of Jaune training to the recording left by Pyrrha for him, that is when it finally hit me and tears began to flow. I was not expected that to hit me as hard as it did.
I Knew we were going to deal something with Pyrrha because of where the show was going; Argus, which is a reference to an actual Greco-Roman city so I knew if we were going to deal with Pyrrha, it would be here. I did not expect it to be so beautiful and powerful as this and the tears came freely when the leaf lead Jaune to the statue and this marvelous song started to play.
The last thing I expected was lyrics to the original Jaune/Pyrrha theme, but I would have it no other way.

This is a beautiful yet somber song and I can't wait to hear the full version when the soundtrack comes out. Also fun fact. Part of this played in volume 3 chapter 8: "Destiny" around the 10:40 mark. Don't know how or why but I have this unique ability(my semblance if you will) to remember music and I also remember when and where I heard it.
It's the Arkos leitmotif, it's played as early as Volume 1.
The song sends chills down my spine, I love it so much. The best part has to be how the song sounds so peaceful when Jaune hasn't been peaceful eversince Volume 3.

My mom, who normally isn't much a fan of anime, adores RWBY because it's not just a show with over-the-top fight scenes. It's a series that really makes you get emotionally attached to each character over time as if they're part of your family. When someone is experiencing a time of innocent happiness, you can feel a smile peeling on your lips. When someone dies, you feel the loss just as hard as the others. When someone finally gets the closure that allows them to find their inner strength, you're relieved and so proud. Proper storytelling is the most amazing power, and we're truly lucky to get that from Monty Oum (R.I.P.) and Rooster Teeth.

@@MrPatriot112 If I implied I thought you were being one of the haters than I apologize on that. Didn't mean to. Just was more meaning on how many I have seen lately. Even the more level-headed people I used to watch make RWBY vids have jumped on the bandwagon.
I think it is definitely a weird phenomenon tho. Like, it took until V3 for people to start complaining about things that were the same since V1, and then V4 people jumped on the bandwagon and then even more during V5. But a lot of the stuff was... odd.
I saw people complaining about M&K using standard writing tricks, like the "We must bring these characters up to speed, so say we need to have a talk and then smash cut to their reactions to everything!"
And then there is, of course, the... weird stuff with Monty. Like, he was awesome and everything, but people act as his loss was the downfall of everything despite the fact that he only animated and threw ideas and M&K after he brought the idea of RWBY to them.
Idk, the criticism on RWBY is pretty strange a lot of the time and I think it stems from absurd levels of expectations thanks to Monty's amazing animation and putting out 4 trailers all about non-stop action for a show that was really less on the action and more on the adventure the heroes go on.
I can't wait for the full version. This is a strong contender for favorite rwby song so far.
Also, mad props to the fanart by Mikururun. It's silly, this is just a show and she is just a character, but Pyrrha means a lot to me. I burst out into tears the moment I saw this beautiful artwork.

I started crying during this scene. Like I couldn't handle it. Jaune, the music, the statue, the woman with the red hair-- whom I believe was Pyrrha's mum by the way, and no one can convince me otherwise-- everything! I just couldn't handle it.
I loved it so much that I hated that it made me cry so badly. I miss Pyrrha and I'm glad they gave her this kind of tribute. It's beautiful and fitting.

After 4 and a half hour
They made a good choice of making it gold in color instead of silver. Matches Pyrrha's colors better. Although, I think it should have been copper, more sensible material for statues.

Volume 6 has a powerful soundtrack both lyrical and instrumental. I think Jeff has outdone himself with this one.

Can we all appreciate the fact that the piano has the same melody as when Pyrrah is very, very first shown in the show?
In plays in the background of volume 1 episode 2, when Ruby leaves Jaune as soon as she sees Yang and Jaune has the line “Oh great, where am I suppose to find another nice quickly girl to talk to?” then he walks of screen only to reveal Pyrrah behind him.
The melody also plays in volume 1 episode 7 during the very first rooftop scene, and well pretty much every rooftop scene they share.
Watching this now so I can try not to cry during the actual episode. I’m still going to cry because I can’t think of this song without bursting into tears
It’s really sad cause that scene with JN_R looking at Pyrrha statue is probably the closest thing we every get to a JNPR reunion

If my memory is right the motif that plays at the very beginning is the same Arkos motif that plays during Episode 14 'Forever Fall' where Jaune agrees to let Pyrrha train him during their talk in the rooftops. Also around the 0:32 mark that's the motif for Cold too

Just when I thought this scene couldn't make me want to cry more...the realization of how the title of the song calls back to an early RWBY episode...which means more tears the next time I binge the series. The music adds so much more to this show. Props to Jeff and Casey once again for tearing my heart apart.
This song hurts to listen to but helps me cope with my relationship problems. I feel a little more at ease when I listen to it. What really got me was that Team JNR looking at the statue of Pyrrha mirrors the shot in the volume one opening of JNPR looking at the statue of the warriors. They've come full circle, just not how they wanted or expected.
If I remember correctly, Forever fall (I think that was the name of the episode or it was the name of the forest they were in) was the place where Pyrrha helped Jane unlock his aura. That makes the song 10x sadder for me :c

This scene was my favorite in season 6. Giving Jaune some closure, and hearing Jen Brown's voice.... It almost felt symbolic of Roosterteeth giving the fans closure for the passing of Monty
