Shunsui defeated one of the strongest espada's resurrection... by pulling out his shikai.
No one took the hint at those times, but with TYBW it becomes way clearer how strong the relaxed captain already was. 🙂

Shunsui mentioned vandereich were enemies they couldn't defeat without their bankai... Here he casually defeated 2nd strongest espada with his shikai only...so yeah wanderiech are clearly stronger
@@sudhanshupandey6246 well the TYBW arc follows the shunen rule of uping the scales, the next enemy is stronger. However the Espada could have been relevant if they upleveled with a second release. Starrk would be much stronger if a guy from number 10 goes number 1.
@@sudhanshupandey6246 shunsui had 3 captains helping him. In a 1v1 I don't think he can kill starrk without bankai. I feel like starrk is stronger than most sternritters besides the really strong ones

I loved Stark but it was disappointing how little he really got to show off in the end. The Primera and he kinda just gave up. Abilities not really expanded on. The wolf thing was a bit on the simple and underwhelming side for Bleach. And then he actually fucking died so he doesn't even come back in TYBW. Maybe Kubo could have let him come back with a Segunda Etapa, and then he could totally be buddies with Kyouraku. Like he was lonely cos his raw riastsu crushed the hollows around him, and here's a guy who doesn't get crushed by it and is stronger than him. Possibly the only person he'd met who was stronger than him other than Aizen and Yami when he's super pissed. And maybe Ichimaru and Tosen, but Tosen died like a bitch (thank you, Aizen), and we didn't really get to see Ichimaru flex properly.
This was never fair fight. It's like no.1. Espada vs -10 level Espada
actually here shunsui fought like a zero squad shinigami it could be practical to use a bankai and take out both stark and haribel but plot is important
He might have a chance to take out aizen also as he was not immortal at that point. Though it's aizen after all. If he could trick the Almighty, then most probably shunsui too in his bankai state.

Yh true. It doesn't make sense to me at all. Ichigo couldnt defeat no 4 even with bankai and had to rely on base hollow. Yet no 1 and 3 were handled with bankai or less

@🃏 chewié 🃏 Then the way it was depicted just wasn't exciting enough. That's not my fault. Ulquiorra came off as way more powerful. It doesn't really matter he fought 4 captains or whatever he never really demonstrated any sort of power or abilities that makes me think he could take Ulquiorra.
