The only way to have a better day is to fly more rockets, Three perfect flights of three perfectly crafted rockets. The Dauphin is really nice and unique. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks well put. The Dauphin is a favorite.
Absolutely a beautiful launch site and day to enjoy it...try not to have too much fun...👍
Great way to start out the day, watching a ModelRockets321 video!!!
Congratulations on the perfect day of flying!!! Nice try on the catch on the last flight, but you made up for it will picking up all that wadding! Bravo!
It was great day. Yes the wadding was so close I cleaned it all up. That shows how low the breeze was, Perfect conditions.
Beautifully built and finished model rockets - you are an absolute craftsman! Thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you appreciate it. The process of learning from other over the years.🚀
Perfect day for perfect launches!
Right. This couldn't have gone better. Even got some cleaning in lol.
Good flights on all. Good day to fly.
Aww thire so cute and tiny
Slow and Low!
Awesome rockets
Thank you
Thanks
Another great launch day! Imagine if you caught the wadding as it fell towards the ground!! :)
Catching wadding lol. Definitely some extra points for that.
You had a perfect day, buddy! That was nice. You have some really great rockets! Best of luck!
Great videos!
As I recall, the Red Max was a mid-70s model.
Out of production for a long while, then reintroduced with a skull and crossbones parachute!
Really. When In1st saw it in the 80s it had the skull and bones. I thought it always had that
Der Red Max is the Best!
Great flights! I need to get back out there!
Def nice day to launch.
An eBay seller gave me a used mini “Der Max”. never flew either. Fun little kit.
Big Bertha still one of my favorite from the 70s. Sadly became a big lawn dart (forgot to tie shock cord - was like my 4th launch. ( Have a new one to build now ). Staying to old color scheme with black stripe coming down one side.
Nice vids. Thanks Keith
I like the Da003. The finds are cool, make your wonder. The dowels probably give it extra stability dynamics. The wood NC helps too. Looks very nice too, cool color concept.
Thanks the dowels on the end of the fins replicate spin motors that were on the real one. They wanted it spin before releasing the payload.
@@modelrockets3215 Interesting. But why would they want them to spin Keith?
@@RobsRocketTimes Here's a quote about the Dauphin and why they wanted it to spin. "Small rockets on the tips spun the unguided Dauphin at launch to reduce dispersion."

@@modelrockets3215 Wow, that so cool, i wonder if what you did with the dowels under scale created the same Dispersions? Amazing. Thanks Keith for the explanation.
Nice job! I have a Red Max and a Big Red Max. Getting ready to fly them both.
Nice launches! Glad to see you recover all your wadding as well. As for parachutes, does Estes now supply them with the holes, or do you add them to get a quicker landing?
Yes spill holes are a way to limit drifting. Some estes parachutes started having dots for cutting out the center as an option. But it's an old technique
Do you remember the Guppy? I was light blue with fish scales.
Yes I remember that one. I think it was part of the Goony Bird series
@@modelrockets3215 that is correct, thanks for reminding me.
Looks like Arizona
Is the Estes mercury redstone worth it? Love the video by the way
Yes! You can find those fairly cheap. Check Belleville Hobby online. The capsule lattice structure usually kick people's butt. But it's possible 🚀
Ok thanks
I will check that too
Good stuff MR321!
Thanks MOB. Your last video was real fun and lucky lol
@@modelrockets3215 Thanks, MR321. I'd still like to drag race our So Longs. I just got antsy to fly mine!
Come across your video and watched it. Reminded me of when I was a kid and launching a Big Bertha with my dad. I loved that model. 🤔👍👍
