Putting an altimeter in that rocket is an act of faith.
Awesome multi-stage rockets; what a cool nose cone & payload! Cool to see the flight data info from the altimeter; definitely more interested in getting one after watching this video.
I lost a small rocket last week; it’s always a bummer.
And, last but not least .. wonderful collaboration!
Nice!
Congrats on finding it, now get them F motors back in there. SO LONG!!!!👀
Nice big field. Hopefully you find that lost So Long on a subsequent trip!! Maybe bring a spotter with binoculars next time. That's what we did as kids. It really helps.
I've not yet launched my So Long because of your first video. I do have a radio tracker and an audible beeper to maybe recover mine when I launch. Nice video!
Nice launches. Good camaraderie, good fun. All is good.
I have never been able to see them when “you do”. I would love this kit if I had a space to launch it. Reminds me a bit of one of my fav Centuri kits (Long Tom). My first 2 stage. Never saw it again. But what a sweet perfect straight up launch it was. Just drifted to far.
Thanks as always Keith for the vids
Losing rockets is part of the game ... unfortunately ! Nice flights and good looking rockets.
Well, I’m happy for you, but another bummer for Mike! I’m guessing that at that speed, maybe a 6-second delay may have been better. Pleasantly surprised that despite not having a recovery unit bringing it down, it suffered almost zero damage! Woo Hoo! Big congrats!!!!
@@KevinsModels Right. I'm guessing it tumble over quit a bit
Watching this made my neck hurt trying to look up.😅
It seemed to survive the landing ok without a parachute . Have you considered putting in a long streamer to maybe be able to pick it up easier on the way down ?
Good video
@@GuineaPig2010 Thanks
On an E! Get an F in there and say, "So long!"
Nice video. Those rockets are aptly named. Maybe rename to bye bye.
@thomasking4136 So Long, Bye Bye, See Ya, Holla, I'm Gone. All suitable names lol.
Where is that location? I am in Phoenix, AZ, and am looking for a launch site.
I looked in the clouds and saw nothing.😂
@@BrianKelsay 😅🚀
So Long III for sure forthcoming! I will build 10 of these things, if it takes that, to get one of these things back on F motors…
@mobrockets We will do it again. A while back I saw a small dog tracker that will fit in the payload and can be paired with a phone. Might be a good idea also
When you said you sow yours "tumbling", you probably saw Keith's thinking his was with a parachute, Keith owes you one, lol!
