It seemed to survive the landing ok without a parachute . Have you considered putting in a long streamer to maybe be able to pick it up easier on the way down ?

Well, I’m happy for you, but another bummer for Mike! I’m guessing that at that speed, maybe a 6-second delay may have been better. Pleasantly surprised that despite not having a recovery unit bringing it down, it suffered almost zero damage! Woo Hoo! Big congrats!!!!

Awesome multi-stage rockets; what a cool nose cone & payload! Cool to see the flight data info from the altimeter; definitely more interested in getting one after watching this video. I lost a small rocket last week; it’s always a bummer. And, last but not least .. wonderful collaboration!

I really like the rotor roc concept - you’re right it is physics - and parachutes frequently have issues. Cannot wait to see more rotor roc launches (especially your upscaled one!)
