I met the guys from The Devil Wears Prada in Nashville. They're the nicest dudes I've ever met especially Mike. I remember one of the guys asked me when I got the Meshuggah shirt I was wearing to the meet and greet and I was telling him I got it when they came to Nashville with High On Fire the year before.
I remember seeing them live at Warped Tour in Salt Lake City and one of the first things they said was "We just want you all to know that Jesus Christ is your lord and savior and he loves every one of you."
It's funny. The first time I met Jeremy, I brought up Cradle of Filth, for no real reason other than to talk about other bands I liked at the time, and he was like "I love CoF!" and began singing the riff to Babalon AD.
I used to listen to these guys back during Plagues and they were one of the main bands to get me into heavy music and wow they look different! One thing I loved about this interview was there was no fake bullshit, these two seem so real and authentic and I love it
It put a smile on my face when Jeremy mentioned Cradle of Filth. I fucking love that band. Their first couple of albums were legendary. However, I think their writing hit a rough spot and became a little stale after 2004 until just recently. The new album, Hammer of the Witches, is surprisingly phenomenal IMO. It gives a off a good old school CoF vibe that I really love.
It's weird seeing them ranting they old music when that unique metalcore with heavy Melodic Deathcore influences was absolutletly sick, we most of the fans love it. It made my teenage years, and I still love it
You guys should do one of these with Alex Terible from Slaughter to Prevail. Russian deathcore band. They are gonna be huge soon if they're not already.
Maybe their old music not be as mature like transit blues or the act, but we grow together with this generation even being so far. Regards from Argentina!

It's sad how ashamed they are of their "faith" at this point. It only proves that they were caught in a religion that eventually didn't meet their expectations (the love lost around the time of Dead Throne). I'm hoping they drop the bitterness and someday choose to desire to know the true Jesus. Not the false one they grew up learning about from all the fake Christians in their church.

But I get it, it’s tough and sometimes scary but God can give one the strength and courage to proclaim the truth I Jesus Christ! I’m here because I was so stoked that they released an album based on Romans but, was a bit sad to see them fall away but the world is so seductive, it’s tough man, imagine if we were in their shoes.
