Detailing kegs are perfect for the pro or enthusiast alike who is looking to wash cars indoors (or outdoors) more effectively and efficiently. The Detail Guy detailing keg kit includes:
- 1 five gallon keg
- 1 pressure gauge
- Safety quick connections on the keg and coiled hose
- Schrader style lid
- 35’ coiled house with quick connects
- Stubby gun with 5 interchangeable tips
- Air chuck to pressurize the keg
*The current price is $400 and includes UPS ground shipping.
Instructions for use:
Sprayer is pressurized to 40 psi when shipped.
*You must depressurize the tank before continuing
- Pull up on the ring attached to depressurize fully. Remove lid by pulling up on handle, turn 90 degrees and lift lid out.
- Fill with water and solution if desired. The keg will hold up to 5 gallons but Scott recommends to fill it to 4 gallons to allow headspace for the compressed air.
- Seal lid on tight and fill to desired pressure. Minimum is 50 psi, Max is 130 psi, Scott recommends between 60-80 psi.
- Connect hose to keg and spray gun to hose and push up on the safety quick connect and blue sleeve all the way up to engage.
- Spray away!
- To disengage and safely remove hose and gun, slide blue sleeve back and pull out hose and gun and lift up on silver ring to release pressure.

Great video and demonstration Chelsea, definitely like the way these work. I have the large ik sprayer and foamer for now but hopefully in the future I will get one of these.
Love my Scott graves keg! I need to look into a longer hose though. It would be nice to be able to have the keg in one place and not have to hold it the whole time
Please showcase testing it against a soiled/muddy or gritty car. I’d love to see how far but safely you can use one without a hose/pressure washer.

When you put the lid on, I like to pull up on the pressure release tab to help center it as I lock it in place.

Great video! What mop is that you are using to clean the floor? I have the same issues I. My garage and never know how to get all the water up

How come the kegs that sells Dave the first owner that came out of this product , has more psi?
Upgraded lid, pressure relief valve, fittings, o-rings and sprayer.
Hopefully one of those tips is less volume. Looks like you could empty the keg pretty quick with that gun.
They have 4 different psi’s
I use it with the 40°. I only do one gallon in and it’s plenty to prespray rinseless over large vehicles with a good bit left over

we are certain we saw that he uses a 90 degree connection on the Keg where the hose attaches. Also we thought the quick connects he uses are suppose to prevent leaking when you connect and disconnect the hose or gun.

It looks like the Merlin Brand 5 in 1 Safety Coupler that is found at Harbor Freight
It’s unfortunate that she could not just tell you what’s on the coupler instead of not sure.

How much product does the keg hold? 5 gallon keg, do you actually get 5 gallons of product inside?
It says 5 gallons but I never quite fill it up because I don’t normally need that much
How long dues it take to fill up the keg with battery powered compressor?
About 1-2 minutes to fully pressurize
