BERTS COUNTRY DANCING 1989

I was turned on to this place by one of the band members I'd met doing another story somewhere. The drinks were cheap, the beat was danceable, the folks just plain "ol folks and I hope this place is still around in some form or the other.

Bert's was last open in 2006. I live across the street in one of the old gas stations. The old 76 station is now open, directly across from Bert's, on Saturday 🙂

Jan 2022, I just past by this place yesterday on the way back home from seeing the Grand Canyon caverns, wonder if it’s still in operation.

I was a tour guide at the Caverns in 2002. Hope the tour was as good as when I was doing them! Been a LOT of changes since I was there last.
