Hey Jim! It's crazy you posted this today lol I've been playing Inti madness in Historic, and currently sitting in top 50 mythic with an incredible win rate. My list is a little different (Gamble is legal and has been insanely good).
I think the Amonkhet board was just the original dust storm graphiccs restored. They turned it down not long after AKR first released because of complaints about board state readability.
Don't really play this format but I don't think the copter does anything anywhere. New cards just outclass it by a mile so it's no longer relevant nor the powerhouse that it used to be. Seems like you just play Phoenix or Rakdos midrange pile in this very narrow format.
Players: "How can I see what my opponent's cards are with all this sand?"
WotC: "That's the neat part. You don't."
I miss good old U/G Madness from Odyssey block. Remember when a 4/4 trampler for three mana was considered amazing? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
U/G Madness was the last time you could field a top tier competitive deck with zero rares. That’s how you know WotC underrated the mechanic.
These days, you can get an unconditional 4/4 trample for 2G with upside (Bloated Contaminator) and it's not even particularly constructed-playable.
I miss arrogant wurm. Also, circular logic and aether burst. Some of the blowouts you could pull off were real with that deck.
best first match 😂
Your old madness list was the first historic deck I crafted and I’m so psyched

The first game fumble made me physically laugh so hard i hit the like button (the game where you queued the wrong deck)
Bloodghast and gamble both seem pretty good for this deck.
The difference between play with fire and bolt is often a whole game win.
Absolutely heinous sand animations
Match 1 game 2 you had win that’s why they scooped. Crew copter swing dragon rage and copter down to 2 and lavamancer the last 2
This deck needs like one more good red madness card. Let's hope WotC makes one. Maybe a sorcery shock with madness 0?
Sparkles.
13:05-13:15 is the highlight of my afternoon
Decks like these make me wish burning inquiry and goblin lore were on arena
Madness? THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!
This deck is fire
waiting for the arbor dryad highlight where someone doesn't see a blocker because of the sand
WotC breathing new life into "Sneaky Reach"
We're really getting to the point we will just call every deck 8-something, 8-rack, 8-cast, now 8-convoke? whats next? 8-seize?
No…this is SPARTA!!
15:50 lmao WTF
You missed the most important upgrade to the deck since you last played it: non-yellow border faithless looting
no hollow one?
Why did they think not being able to see cards is better than… being able to see cards???

Yikes those sound reactions are so cringe...
