    Sahih Muslim 1406 d
Sabra al-Juhani reported on the authority of his father that while he was with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) he said:
O people, I had permitted you to contract temporary marriage with women, but Allah has forbidden it (now) until the Day of Resurrection. So he who has any (woman with this type of marriage contract) he should let her off, and do not take back anything you have given to them (as dower).

Jazak Allah Sayyid; JazakAllah Fehema; Jazak Allah Br. Bilal! 🤲🏽❤🤲🏽
Br. Bilal you are so right; this conversation should have been happening long ago.
I think that we must support our young people and especially new reverts to Islam. The community must have rules and mandatory counselling for young people.
Parents have to support Mutah as an instutution. It must be done in an atmosphere that benefits all concerned.
Men are abusing it! It must not be secretive.
We must give guidelines to our young people; because so many other options are out there? As parents and young people is homosexuality or masturbation better than what Allah has ordained? I rest my case! 🤲🏽🇹🇹🤲🏽

They say Mut’ah offers protection but I believe it is harmful for women because women get attached more easily and coming out of a temporary marriage will be difficult. Permanent marriage should be encouraged and if it is because of lack of funds then mosques and sheikhs who perform marriage ceremonies should offer a heavy discount based on financial status to make it easy for couples to marry.

How do you know of its permanent or temporary?...if I marry today and my wife commit adultery how long did the wedding last? And how can you tell if its mutaa or not?

    • @Mazzie2022
      @Mazzie2022 3 года назад

@@8heavyhchamp8 you can’t guarantee that your wife won’t cheat on you but I am sure if she enters into a permanent marriage with you she would think twice about committing adultery because she has made a vow before الله سبحانه و تعالى to be legally married to you and because of the consequences, both in this life and the hereafter.

Good to know and i wonder if this is practiced all over the world or only in iran or oraq

  • @motecho6876

Regardless of Sunni or Shia, outside Iran mutah is quite common in Saudi and some other Muslim countries.
Sunnis don't condone mutah because the marriage is consommated without witness.
Whether mutah should be legal or not is a big question. My answer is in the twilight zone because I believe that mutah should not be completely legalized particularly for first timers, neither it should be completely illegal.
It should be last option for a man to enjoy companionship and a woman to get support.
As Muslims (regardless of our sects) our priority should be to create stable societies for young Muslims to get married at an early age without having the young men to worry about how he's going to provide for his wife. This can be done in many ways. Like both the young man and woman can live with their respective parents or guardians, but the couple gets married publicly (proper permanent nikah not mutah). Other option is in the long term the entire Ummah should strive to create stable societies where young people can have stable livelihoods for them to start families.
Now I think mutah can be considered legal for widows and divorcees. However, legalizing mutah for young people, particularly young women leads to abuse. Astagfirullah proverty, repression and instability are used by evil people to engage young women into illicit activities. Unfortunate that so many young women from middle east including Iran end up in western countries as sex workers. And that needs to be stopped.

  • @zedispahany7317

It is explained well the way mutah is supposed to be but in reality it is most misused and abused. Couples are doing muta for only for hours and so on just for pleasure and not for the way it is being described. Unfortunately this is practiced in certain countries and male visitors come and do mutah for for hours or months and the men go off back to their own countries.
