Trua's 17th Birthday Celebration [November 23rd, 2022]

I was very fortunate to have spend the day at SeaWorld for Trua's 17th Birthday! This is the first time in SIX YEARS that I got to see Trua on his birthday! We got photos of Trua with his birthday cake (go to 00:07 to see his Birthday Cake!) during the KWUCT and then got to eat it after the 5:30pm show (skip to 12:07).
If anyone was curious about how big the Orlando boys are, go to 08:11. If you cannot hear it well, Trua is 22 feet 10 inches and a little over 8,000 pounds most likely; Makaio is a little over 18 feet and now 5,335 pounds (larger than when Trua was 12 years old!).

Tilikum was already very large when he first came to SeaWorld in the 90s. A website stated he was about 20 feet long when he was 11/12 years old. Trua (and Makaio) was a lot smaller than when Tilly was 11/12 years old. Trua, Tilikum, AND Makaio are 100% Icelandic. But sometimes it depends on genetics how much they grow to be.

yes he was tilikum was his first meeting the Katina and kalina in 1992

Its so crazy to me how these things are rediculously more dangerous then sharks but they seem to naturally like people.
