- Hey guys! When I went to Disney this past week, I decided to attempt getting over my fear of Rollercoasters and record it to bring you all on the ride with me :D It was the most scariest, nerve wracking, and also the most exciting and thrilling journey I’ve ever had. I’m so happy I actually followed through with it all! I hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching!

I was so terrifed rollercoasters MY WHOLE life and I've come over my fear of them just this year at 24 yo :D the feeling is so great when you're in the ride!

Amazing to see you overcome your fears. My 8 year old daughter is a little daredevil and because of health issues my partner can't go on roller coasters anymore, so I've been forced to step up to the plate. I still hate it sometimes but I have yet to get off of a coaster and regret it. I think my fear is of the unknown, not knowing what is going to happen on the coaster, and of the "belly ache" coasters give you when you drop, but once that goes away I always enjoy them... as long as I don't sit in the back seats of the train lol, I still hate that!
OMG Amanda this video of overcoming rollercoaster fears, this is exactly like what Mackenzie did with some of the rollercoasters at Alton Towers in England, definitely like this video

@@AthleticGurl totally agree or In my case i can just go on them regardless, through the UK's newest tallest and fastest rollercoaster Hyperia was a bit anxiety ridden moment but afterwards I was fine, I think fear helps in general

A lot of the "sick" feeling people have comes from their own fear building up. Some people legit have inner ear issues or something else and they do get physically ill no matter what. But for a lot, getting past the fear gets rid of the sick feeling. Congratulations! Roller Coasters are a lot of fun. That surge of adrenaline hitting your system, screaming, smiling like an idiot... you end up getting some endorphines in there as well and you just feel good
Thunder Mountain is a solid roller coaster. Keeps its speed up really well, has some great g forces. Some surprise little drops and that amazing helix in the middle that just puts the pressure on and holds it. Narrow spaces make it feel faster than it is.

@@AthleticGurl I'm a bit of a roller coaster nut. So always happy to see someone face down a fear and come through the other side of it. Even if they don't it's good to see people try.

As one of the only people in my friend group who likes rollercoasters. Glad to see you overcome your fear! If you ever get the chance, head to Alton Towers sometime! I've never been scared of Rides, including rollercoasters, considering my mum always encouraged me to go on them. And if I was scared or unsure of a ride she'd say 'Just go on it once, and if you don't like it, you never have to go on it again' and that's how I went on one of the most high intensity rollercoasters in the world! The Smiler at Alton towers, 3 minutes, going 85 all the way through, and 14 inversions (or loops) one after the other.

I love this!! I'm on my own getting-over-rollercoaster-phobia journey and I think about this all the time and how much fun u ended up having even tho u were scared :). I live in California though and I have a Disneyland pass, I was wondering if you're ever going to ride incredicoaster out here?
I rode it 3 years ago but I now know that I wasn't ready because I got off shaking and crying😭 but I'm going to ride it again soon bc I've gotten a lot better with drops! I hope I can be like you and come off of it smiling this time lol
Oh yes! My family and I were just talking about going to Disneyland this summer! We’ll see if we end up doing it this summer, or not. When we do, there will definitely be a video!!

I remember riding slinky dog dash. (Level four in this video) I was so scared while waiting because I had a huge fear of roller coasters. I was panicking. Then I got on the ride and had a lot of fun. That's how I conquered my fear of coasters.

I recently went on thunder mountain and Matterhorn for the first time! I have hated rollercoasters for all my life then I went on those and had a blast!

Yeah! I went on it that same trip! I just didn’t record it/include it in the video because almost everything is dark and it would be pointless cause you couldn’t see or hear anything. It was so much fun though! I was terrified, but I finally got on it!
@@AthleticGurl I used to be afraid of roller coasters, my first rollercoaster was at Lego land and I got over each of my fears, I’m still working on going upside down outside tho 😅

@@AthleticGurl turned out the roller coaster was closed so I went on 2 and one went sideways and backwards and a drop tower and my gosh that scared me I couldn’t even scream bc it was going so fast and my throat was dry as heck

I finally thought I conquered my fear after riding Everest 3 times but then when I rode Velocicoaster at universal It was nothing like it and I was terrified 😂

I went to Disneyland one day and at the start of the day I was absolutely terrified to go on space mountain. And then after that day, I’ve been wanting to go on the “Incredicoaster” so bad ( I didn’t want to ride it that one day because obviously I was scared but now I want to go on it).
That’s awesome! I’ve been wanting to go on Incredicoaster too! Haven’t gotten the chance yet :(
I got to ride Incredicoaster a month ago, it’s very fun.

@@fckvert 2 words Great Bear its very easy to ride im 9! Its 90 feet but it doesnt intimanate me it felt slow even though it goes 61 mph
have you done rock 'n' rollercoaster and space mountain? Those are indoor coasters.
Yes! I did those for the first time that same week! I just didn’t include them in the video because they’re technically dark rides, and it wouldn’t have been too much fun to include in the video cause you wouldn’t be able to see or hear anything lol

I’m terrified of roller coasters just as you. But I’m gonna say this, Disney Coasters are alright but not great. Come to the State of Ohio and go to Cedar Point (Coaster Capital of the world) or Kings Island cause Ohio knows how to build rollercoasters.

Expedition Everest isn't even that bad. I think all of these aren't that bad EXCEPT for Slinky Dog Dash. The first drop gives you that stomach dropping feeling which I ABSOLUTELY HATE, so I think I'd also be pretty scared to ride that one if you asked me. 🥲
