I think I matched the tone, I ran a chorus into my overdrive then into my amp which is a Vox AC15 with the spring reverb cranked. I also use an SG. To me it seems like a chorus before distortion/fuzz/overdrive does the trick. Personally I'm using a Rainbow Machine dialed in for a chorus sound and an OCD overdrive. I have some stuff recorded with this setup on bandcamp and I'm really happy, lmk what you guys use to match it and what works for you. Edit: Went back and looked at demos of the Ibanez BC9(The chorus Jamie uses) now I'm 100 percent he's got it on during the performance, maybe not in the studio version but definitely this performance.
The music was performed at his festival so most likely. Also I’m pretty sure he had to give permission for his and Angelo’s music to be commissioned like this.
To harness their talent into a performance like this, they'll not be taking any drugs. Have you tried giving your all to a performance, whilst on twonk. As Keith Richards once said, "Nothing creative happens after 10pm".
