Every time, when i am watching this race, i am afraid about driver health. it's must be real dangerous.
@@splrumcajs theres build rules we gotta follow and it's one of the sports that u do it at your own risk
what exactly are the construction rules of a car? it seems you have to loose much structure so the cars can crumble like that. looks like you have to cut the a,b and c pillars and tape them together? and i guess you need a fuelcell?
@@stefan2566 for example you have to use a H frame, floorplare, doorplate, corner plates, welding, bolting, fuel cell, 5 point harness etc.. If you are interested in the full rules you can google on national banger rules. You should be able to find it.

Yeah, always keep them outside.. dont want them to break. I always tape my steering wheel so i dont put them inside.

@@harrybarwell7433 that makes sense, I figured there was standard on the cages at least. Like I’m wondering do they do anything to protect the engine or other drive train components? It’s interesting stuff

I always thought volvos were meant to be super strong & safe. Don't the estates cave in badly.

@@SakiSkai maybe you should buy a different car then haha. If you ever have some money, there's a company in the uk who builds banger cars you can rent. Ots cecils rent a rookie. If you are interested in participating in a banger race in the future you should contact them :)
@@AutorodeoNederland Ι got a Nissan Almera 1500cc QG15de engine modified with LPG. It doesn't really use a lot of fuel, just things are bad in the economy.
