I feel like some of those situations of "battery and false imprisonment" are kinda fair though. Batman did know there were crimes being comitted and in terms of reasonable force they were armed pretty heavily. Like to the point where use of lethal force would have been fair if Batman killed. Also there were points where Batman was technically working with/for the cops.
The triumphant Batman music abruptly stopped by the "17x Battery: 8.5 Years In Prison" made me cry laughing 😂😂
