I imagine this song to play right after you fought Yharim for 7 long minutes, reaching his 0 hp, only to see him regenerate it all just like Yharon, his armor shatter and you have to deal with Yharim, a broken Hero who lost himself in the sands of times.

@@Thelnir I memorized Stained, Brutal Calamity in a day because I liked it a ton But I honestly like this better, so I wonder how long it'll take to memorize this?
Was great working with you man, thanks for having me on this beast of a track, the vocals were fun to record and can’t wait to work with you more in the future 🙏
This is actually incredible. At 7:53, the transition between draedon’s motif to dog’s then to calamitas’s is so absurdly smooth. I also love how yharim responds to yharon, it’s actually so good. The singer did an incredible job too. This is one of the greatest things i’ve ever heard, i hope it gets put into the game as yharim’s official theme. It most definitely won’t, but i would be so happy if it did.
Holy shit. How am I just discovering this today? The dramatic rises and falls, the allusions to Yharon, Draedon, and Calamitas’ themes, the mix of hard rock guitars and drums and the Calamity bells/orchestra, the opposite POV of Yharim’s response to Yharon, the lyrics painting a Godslaying Tyrant driven and broken by his endless revenge to the point where we becoming his final challenge and only way out, just fucking everything. I’ve never heard something as beautiful in so long. I damn near cried when the penultimate guitars came on. Absolute masterpiece.
Now this... *THIS* is a Yharim theme! Personally, I usually take "Yharim themes" with a grain of salt, as the ones I've seen either have too many motifs/leitmotifs or have absolutely none. This is a *perfect* in-between. Instead of calling back to 800 different themes in the span of 30 seconds, this just brings in the major ones like Roar of the Jungle Dragon and Stained, Brutal Calamity (Edit: I think there's a ton that I missed, either way, I still like the song). Fantastic work, dude!
Agree but I also feel that some of the ones that use a bunch of motifs fit in a weird way as a reflection of our journey. This isn't just the final day for yahrim it's also the last step in our journey so I feel like this fits but so do the others as potential phases during the battle
This song singlehandedly fixed my marriage, made me give up drugs, made my father come back from the milk store, got me a job and brought back my will to live

WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTEFUCK. I haven't felt shivers and hype quite like this from a song since the first time I heard Stained, Brutal Calamity. Thank you for gracing my ears with such greatness. I'm in absolute shock.
You know a song's good when you constantly listen to it and memorise the vocals. We've had Yharim themes like "rise of the jungle tyrant" but this? This takes the cake for the best Yharim theme. I'm not going to be done listening to this anytime soon.
Getting some serious Linkin Park vibes from this and I love it! This sort of energy perfectly fits the Godseeker Tyrant that is Yharim. His misguided conquest, his failures, his regrets. This all perfectly showcases a man who has gone past the point of no return and despite regretting past actions, the only way out is for his life to end by the player’s hand
Feels like this song jus sums up the whole story of yharim absolutely phenomenon EDIT: still listen to this everyday its become a part of my life and it will continue to be so, also kept it as my ringtone to never forget about this masterpiece.
@@Thelnirprobably very very unlikely, I doubt someone would be able to even get a hold of them and I don’t really know what their opinions are on fan songs, the only one I’ve seen acknowledge one is heart plus fate and from what I’ve heard that’s it cause I’m pretty sure dodged said in another comment that they typically don’t pay attention to fan work. Conveniently the only cal dev I know how to get a hold of is heart which is the lead composer and only one I’ve acknowledge a fan song
I... wow. I don't want to rephrase what many people have expressed already - great choice in leitmotifs, a beautiful instrumental, well written lyrics and an amazing singer. What I would like to acknowledge is how this might be the first Yharim theme to understand - and express - his personality. He has been a monster from the moment he rose up from the lava. He declared a genocide, ready to fullfil it despite any innocent lives he may take. However, he fully deluded himself (and wants to delude you too) into thinking he was righteous and led onto a worse path. The dual part between the Terrarian and Yharim expresses this perfectly - Yharim is trying to shift the blame onto DoG that he was manipulated, despite DoG being a terrible liar which Yharim says so himself when discussing the Ceaseless Void. He wants nothing more now than to indoctrinate you into his ideology, willing to die if it means the crusade will be finished beyond his grave. I just wanted to gush over how excellently crafted this entire song is. Absolutely incredible job man, I hope you keep getting better and better.
This is my favorite take on Yharim’s theme. Not only does it cover the new lore unlike the themes I’ve heard previously, but it actually covers the lore aspect of Yharim, which I haven’t seen out of a fanmade Yharim theme before. He is the antagonist of Calamity after all, so he should get an epic theme to end the story (If the player doesn’t fight Noxus or Xeroc).
woah, this is incredibly well made. the lyrics are LITERAL genius and the last time i had goosebumps like this was when i heard roar of the jungle dragon for the first time
Nah this is supposed to be my competition 😭 but on a serious note, I don't even think I will ever get even close to making something like this, you truly outdid yourself on this one, bravo.
This song made me feel emotions i diddent even know i could feel, this is by far my favourite yharim theme to date. Props to this masterpice and its creaters, may you do well.
Okay, out of all the things today "Sickest Fan Song for an Obscure thing you love" was NOT on my bingo card. I love this so much- (Also i really wanna do a cover TwT id love an instrumental version) PLEASE DONT GET ME WRONG; THE VOCALIST IS GODLY-
The only fan made song that I heard having vocals this is something I would love to see in the calamity mod as yahrims song. it goes well and I hope yahrim becomes a boss and if so the music should be this even though it won’t probably but if so then it would be great Sry if it’s too much but I think it’s great
holy moly this is really good i could really see this working as a general theme for yharim, whether it be the fight or mayhaps even a post-fight interlude anyway, the stuff i really liked: 1. you cooked with the lyrics at 7:18 2. the guitar work is quite good 3. the percussion, though admittedly a bit weak/quiet for my personal taste, was really cool and unique 4. the vocal performance/melodies/lyrics overall were quite great 5. the motif usage seems really good (i'm not sure i've even picked out all of the motifs used) 6. the symphony work is also really good 7. honestly this is getting kinda redundant so i'll just end it here and say that this is Really Good
Holy crap, dude! There are SO many motifs in this one. You really weren't kidding about this blowing all of your other work out of the water. Same as PinpinNeon, I will continue to follow your journey in the future. It's the least I can do to repay you for all of the ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE music you have supplied us with!
This is beyond amazing. You and Lucky did PHENOMENAL with this. The guitar, the lyrics, the Dragon Aerie motif... everything! I really can't put into words how good this is! This is seriously the best fan-made theme I've ever heard. Congrats on getting this out. So excited to see what you compose in the future, even if its far into it.
More Terraria music will be produced for the now independent Laments of The True God mod, and a lot more actual game soundtracks are in order. Mainly just moving away from Calamity.
I can only imagine the epicness this battle would have if Yharim gets a theme like this. I mean 'The Witch and the Prophecy' already sounds epic as f*ck but imagine 'The Tyrant and the Saviour' or something like that. I want a serious final boss with Yharim so hopefully we get one epic, sad and just cool final battle!
Awesome theme, the response to yahron was on point, i hope that whatever the offical theme is in the future that it includes some sort of reponse like this.
Luckycaster is such an underwater brilliant. He has beautiful voice, he is doing good at singing. I'm glad that you have him on that one forgot to mention, this one is fire!
I expected it to have a lot of riffs and brutality in whole song BUT DROP IS SO AMAZING and I'm still amazed by work and the song itself, THIS IS SO WAWASOME!
Holy shit... literally! This shit is holy! I can't believe this legendary masterpiece was made by just a fan. Keep going my man, I can even see the Calamity Devs getting interest in you with this talent. Seriously... this is freaking awesome. EDIT: I know this is your final Calamity theme. I meant with 'keep going' that you should never give up because your potential is HUGE
this is simply phenomenal. this sounds like how a love letter to calamity should. where most of the calamity ost is explosive, energetic and fast-paced this being somber, reflective and regretful both fits yharim's character and serves as a nice capstone for the mod's story.
This was unbelievably beautiful As many others i have shivers and the part in which Yharim answers was such a good idea and execution. I may not be completely on the track regarding the rythm and way the lyrics are sectioned, but otherwise it is a really divine song and deserves to be put into the game, made reference to or used otherwise by the official mod team
Yknow, first seeing the thumbnail and stuff I just thought “Oh hey another Yahrim song, cool”, never did I expect this. Stained brutal calamity has remained my favorite song for about 6 years now, a lot of songs came close to beating it, Ultrakills order and war, twisted garden, trials of the insane, raze the skies for nihilus, even mili, but you managed to dethrone it. Fitting it being yahrims song that does it honestly, but I just can’t get over this song, the reference to the end of roar of the jungle dragon, yahrim talking about the devourers manipulation, just how everything sounds, I love it. I can’t wait for your future songs, wish I could’ve seen more calamity ones, but ending it with this, I’m fine with it.
This is the best Yharim fan theme i have listen too, the references are great and the hints to the lore is wonderful. It great that it's not just a combination of like 30 themes every 10 secs unlike others, this one had depth and emotion. Great Job. I'm excited to see what the future bring for you :)

This is perhaps, the best fan made Calamity theme I've ever heard. It's so damn amazing, and really makes you feel for Yharim despite the awful things he's done. Yes, he's killed evil, but now at what cost? He's lost everyone. He knows he's going to die. But instead of fearing for it, he accepts it. Because he feels like he deserves it. The instrumental of this song is amazing, and the lyrics are so good too!
“Yes, he’s killed evil” He also genocided 20% of the population on a belief that was wrong (all gods bad) and the proof it’s wrong is the halloweds mere existence
I normally dont comment on videos at all but i had to this time. This is actually crazy. I did NOT expect it to be that good, this actually deserves to be ingame. Also it woul be really cool if you made an unofficial calamity ost music with all the musics you made for the mod
I really brought out the sublimity of this musical masterpiece with my ingenious lyrical expertise of a singular lyric. This singular lyric has taken all my intellectual brain power of two singular brain cells fighting for third place, to provide Dodge with the utmost quality of lyric mankind has ever seen. This lyric is shrimply so superior no lyrical artisian has ever even had the audacity to come up with such a masterpiece, primarily due to the inability and failure to conquer such fear to face the conchaquences. The lyric in question is so uncomprehensibly resharkable, it has timbered me shivers, as well of the shivers of any fortunate soul which was destined to come across such a piece of art as well as the true efforts put into the lyrical engineering, especially outstanding due to this single lyric, which thy can only admire in awe. Essentially, the coral of the story concludes to with the profishional kelp of such a lyrical expert and an absolutely splended and talented vocalist, this made this single lyric even more timbering me shivers. In conchclusion, this single lyric possesses the ability to frighten even the most fearless of creatures, and enlighten even the most celestial of beings resulting in a flawless perfection of a lyrical and musical masterpiece. This piece has also proven the fact that the One Piece is real due to the actual ingenuity and complex construction of said lyric created by none other than myself. This lyric will no doubt bring forth the determination in the calamity developers to stop Dr. Krisrespecting and complete the boss that is Yharim himself. One shall be able to catch a glimpse of this lyric and gain thy ability to cure cancer. This lyric shall engrave our names into the cosmos, and shall be studied by experts on lyrical engineering for generations to come. No lyric shall ever compare to the intellect of this lyric due to its absolute divinity and pristine. This is a lyric not even Saul Goodman will be able to sue due to its absolute sublimity and gravity. The absolute genius of this piece is something not even light yagami could crack the case for. It is something that will humble Rampo and Sherlock Homes. It’s something that even squad 0 and the 13 court squads cannot begin to even comprehend. Twitter will debate on the reliability of my information provided, but that is absolutely preposterous, as even Elon Musk cannot trump this with his mass amounts of economical wealth. I rest my case.
Genuinely the best thing that you made from what I listened The vocals carry hard, but everything is still well made Definitely using this for my dnd campaign
been hearing a lot about DND campaigns. Didn't actually know that, it's cool. "the vocals carry hard" is a bit of a weird statement though, since like... that's the point? that's how lyrical songs work? the song is based around the vocals since they carry the melody and lyrical writing (except for solo's and such)? I mean, to be fair, this song does have a lot of lyrics though, I spent so long writing them and Lucky took a while for the performance (for good reason), so in that regard, yeah, there's a lot of lyrics and there aren't a ton of instrumental sections if that's what you meant. Felt necessary to tell the story I wanted to.
@@DodgedMusicFair enough Edit: Also what I meant by the vocals carrying is because I felt that the instrumental could use a little bit more polish, but then again, taste is subjective. The DnD campaign is not completely calamity related, it’s more so an ultra modded terraria campaign, but due to limitations, I had to cut it down, so it’s only using 4 mods. Yharim is the final boss because the original boss progression lacked an actual final boss.
Instrumental is extremely polished, just might have had some choices that I should have considered more, mainly some of the reverb may have been off though for most people, because I like mine a certain way. I do need to get better at finding out what non-musicians hear, since most of who I actually get feedback from are other musicians (who hear layers and such differently than a regular person). So basically, is the instrumental not polished enough? No, I think it is polished about to what you could reasonably hope to accomplish, but I probably should have given a few non-musicians a demo and saw what they heard for preference tuning, because a couple of the choices I made may have only 70% resonated with some people, when it should at least be 90%. Actually, the vocals (not the lyrics, nor the performance, the actually imported vocals) are the least polished part of the song, if I didn't want to release it October 1st, I would have gotten the vocal syncing and timings a bit more on time, since they sort of overlap in weird ways very occasionally. Would have delayed a day, but because of scheduling, delaying a day or two would actually have caused a week delay or more, all for not _too_ much of a difference. Debatable what the correct choice in that situation was. Anyway, hope that campaign goes well.
insane how this song has so little recognition. it is so well made with the lyrics and everything and i love the reference to roar of the jungle dragon. super well done!
This is amazing, the lyrics are well made, the song sounds really really good, and like someone else said having yharim respond to yharon is just perfect. Also I love how you used the motif of the person yharim is talking about, when yharims responding to yharon it uses that motif, when yharims talking about the serpent which is DoG it uses his motif and when he’s talking about his allies being calamitas it uses the epiphany motif, amazing somg
My LORDE, this theme is absolute PEAK! The lyrics are perfect, the callbacks and motifs are well-placed, and the melancholic yet powerful instrumental is magnificent! This is definitely my new favourite fan-track, and one of my favourite Calamity pieces in general! And as a little extra appreciation, here's my interpretation of the lyrics: _Here we stand, as our gaze parts the bright stars. Can't look back, to the guilt that we've crushed, Because those wounds, will heal to scars... As the pain burns down to dust._ _For the breeze, carries our nightmares. Back to our souls, back through our sin... We stand here, our sacred lies in the still air. All, as the tears glide through the wind!_ Yharim is looking back at his failures, lamenting all the pain and destruction he caused in his goal that he never achieved. He addresses us too, seeing the struggle and strife we went through to reach where we are now. We were a mere man, who lived every day knowing it may be our last, and climbed our way to the top by tooth and nail, sacrificing body and soul in the process. The "sacred lies" is referring to Yharim's manipulation. He tricked us into believing he was in the right, and we became his last hope, his last tool to complete his crusade. _Destiny found me as soon as I walked this path. For ever since you started, fated was the clash. The world may shift underneath our weight, But our spirits are hopeless no matter our strength._ From the moment he spoke to us in Awakening, he knew his death at our hand was inevitable. For whatever reason we may have for killing Yharim, he will always be the last hurdle. For as powerful as Yharim is, and how powerful The Terrarian has become, the both of us are damned souls, drowned in all of the blood we spilled. _Your soul will break from all the shame, And be consumed by roaring flames! THE PAIN! Too late to break the chains, You can't escape this blood stained fate!_ Yharim knows we've learned the truth about him. That he isn't some tragic hero who fell from grace, but a genocidal monster who destroyed all in his war against the gods. But we learned too late, and now our only option is to either finish what he started or cast it all aside like he did. _Why do I still hear your echoes cry? I may not win but I must try... I don't deserve forgiveness from you, And yet you persist and fight forth true. Even if I deserve all my burdens, You have forgave my history... But now you have chose to keep determined. So now I have nothing left but misery..._ Yharim answers to Yharon. The dragon of rebirth, his most trusted and beloved companion. The only thing left that he still cherished. His departure is the only thing Yharim is TRULY sorrowful for, and even though slaying us would doom his crusade once and for all, he fights for the sake of Yharon. The "chorus" repeating is him trying to break us, so that he may avenge his fallen brother. _And as the WIND SWEEPS BLOOD AWAY! It reveals the SCARS OF DECAY... Because the TRAITOR ALMIGHTY, Can't escape from DEMISE, For he may shine brightly, But so do the lies in his EYE._ Yharim is blaming Xeroc for everything that has happened, and is trying is goad us into slaying him to finally end this war. Whether Xeroc intended for the genocide to happen or was simply trying to continue Zeratros' legacy is yet to be known, so I can't say anything about the morality of this part yet. _Born into violence, Yharim was dead, For the Tyrant had rose from that lava instead... Through sadness and silence, inside he bled, Until all he had left was the shame that he fled..._ _Perhaps we're not one in the same, And just have the same god in our aim... It was my anger that the serpent preyed upon, But you don't win wars forgone._ The first part could either be an outside source narrating Yharim's thoughts, or said by Yharim himself. He realises that he *is* a monster, no matter how much he tries to lie and twist the truth to others and to himself. He ponders the possibility that we might have been walking a different path that he set out for us, and simply had the same goal by coincidence. He addresses DoG's exploitation of him, and knows that his war can no longer be won by himself. _The allies lost... To my own acts of treachery... All done for naught, For war is locked in reverie! So if I must die to see the gods fall, Then I shall accept, the end that has called... And find peace in death, once and for ALL!_ Yharim is lamenting about his failures again, this time directly addressing what caused his crusade to fall apart. He accepts the fate that awaits him, wanting to be relieved from his duty and his pain. (Also, Calamitas motif is beautifully sad as always) _Ignite my flame, as the ash falls to the tides! Escape your fate, and don't look back to cry! Ascend, until those bells don't chime, Then bleed your bame into the SANDS OF TIME._ Yharim asks of for two things: to give him a glorious death in combat, and to go beyond him. Don't fall prey to sadness and regret, keep flying high until you go beyond the heavens, and become a legend to be revered for ages to come. Man... going back through this song and fully taking in the lyrics... not even gonna lie, it's got me on the verge of tears. This song is just *so. damn. good.*

This piece is incredible. I've gone back through your discography after finding it yesterday and I am very happy to be able to add a bunch more tracks to my calamity playlist. I'm running a D&D campaign with some friends of mine, and whether there's an official yharim theme out by the time they get to him or not, I will be using this theme for Yharim, either by itself or as an accompaniment to its official counterpart. It just hits on all the right themes and ideas for how I want to depict Yharim in that campaign. Thank you for this gift of a song. I had no idea what I was supposed to use for Yharim's theme. How do you sound so similar to DM Dokuro?
This is actually incredible. At 7:53, the transition between draedon’s motif to dog’s then to calamitas’s is so absurdly smooth. I also love how yharim responds to yharon, it’s actually so good. The singer did an incredible job too. This is one of the greatest things i’ve ever heard, i hope it gets put into the game as yharim’s official theme. It most definitely won’t, but i would be so happy if it did.

This piece has also proven the fact that the One Piece is real due to the actual ingenuity and complex construction of said lyric created by none other than myself. This lyric will no doubt bring forth the determination in the calamity developers to stop Dr. Krisrespecting and complete the boss that is Yharim himself. Genuinely the best thing that you made from what I listened
The vocals carry hard, but everything is still well made
Definitely using this for my dnd campaign
been hearing a lot about DND campaigns.
@@DodgedMusicFair enough
Edit: Also what I meant by the vocals carrying is because I felt that the instrumental could use a little bit more polish, but then again, taste is subjective.
And as a little extra appreciation, here's my interpretation of the lyrics:
_Here we stand, as our gaze parts the bright stars. Can't look back, to the guilt that we've crushed, Because those wounds, will heal to scars... As the pain burns down to dust._
_For the breeze, carries our nightmares. Back to our souls, back through our sin... We stand here, our sacred lies in the still air. All, as the tears glide through the wind!_
Yharim is looking back at his failures, lamenting all the pain and destruction he caused in his goal that he never achieved.
The world may shift underneath our weight, But our spirits are hopeless no matter our strength._
From the moment he spoke to us in Awakening, he knew his death at our hand was inevitable.
THE PAIN! Too late to break the chains, You can't escape this blood stained fate!_
Yharim knows we've learned the truth about him.
So now I have nothing left but misery..._
Yharim answers to Yharon.
Because the TRAITOR ALMIGHTY, Can't escape from DEMISE, For he may shine brightly, But so do the lies in his EYE._
Yharim is blaming Xeroc for everything that has happened, and is trying is goad us into slaying him to finally end this war. Whether Xeroc intended for the genocide to happen or was simply trying to continue Zeratros' legacy is yet to be known, so I can't say anything about the morality of this part yet.
_Born into violence, Yharim was dead, For the Tyrant had rose from that lava instead... Through sadness and silence, inside he bled, Until all he had left was the shame that he fled..._
_Perhaps we're not one in the same, And just have the same god in our aim... It was my anger that the serpent preyed upon, But you don't win wars forgone._
The first part could either be an outside source narrating Yharim's thoughts, or said by Yharim himself.
And find peace in death, once and for ALL!_
Yharim is lamenting about his failures again, this time directly addressing what caused his crusade to fall apart. He accepts the fate that awaits him, wanting to be relieved from his duty and his pain. (Also, Calamitas motif is beautifully sad as always)
_Ignite my flame, as the ash falls to the tides! Escape your fate, and don't look back to cry! Ascend, until those bells don't chime, Then bleed your bame into the SANDS OF TIME._
Yharim asks of for two things: to give him a glorious death in combat, and to go beyond him. Don't fall prey to sadness and regret, keep flying high until you go beyond the heavens, and become a legend to be revered for ages to come.
Man... going back through this song and fully taking in the lyrics... not even gonna lie, it's got me on the verge of tears. This song is just *so. damn. good.*

The Calamitas and Devourer parts are just incredible. I might have missed it, but was there a Draedon part?
yes
No way, is that the guy from the video!!!!???
@ your soul will break from all the shame, which will be really painful for you, since that is literally all you are, Prime.
@@CalamityPrime it did not reply for some reason, so I’m just gonna do this.
Just read the message I guess
the call back to roar of the jungle dragon and yharim responding to yharon is pure GOLD this is amazing work
Thank you so much for making this downloadable! Going right in my Terraria Calamity Playlist.
Honestly, one of the best Calamity songs I've heard, should definitely be in the base mod!
0:35 is an amazing part in this song, sets the tone so well

Good stuffs.
good grammars.
this is problably one of the fan made songs i ever heard, this is soo good, i also loved the part when he talks about xeroc
holy moly the yharon motif part is fire
I can imagine this playing during second phase just like roar of the jungle dragon. With how incredible these fan songs are getting we probably wont have to compose a theme when yharim does get released
absolute cinema... its so peak...
*"Hello peak department. Your not gonna believe this one."*
Thank you for contacting the peak department. This line is currently busy, and will be back with you shortly. Please hold and sorry for the inconveniences.
WTF why does this theme not have more views??? This fits current lore Yharim perfectly and is actually better than stained brutal calamity! Actually peak
My god I am still enjoying this as when I first listened to it 2 months ago
dont
This piece is incredible. I've gone back through your discography after finding it yesterday and I am very happy to be able to add a bunch more tracks to my calamity playlist. I'm running a D&D campaign with some friends of mine, and whether there's an official yharim theme out by the time they get to him or not, I will be using this theme for Yharim, either by itself or as an accompaniment to its official counterpart. It just hits on all the right themes and ideas for how I want to depict Yharim in that campaign. Thank you for this gift of a song. I had no idea what I was supposed to use for Yharim's theme. Now I know.
This song is sick as hell! Y’all did great with this one. Keep it up!
