Great description of the different types of zippers! I always get nervous when I have to insert a zipper, and I hope the additional information you are giving me will help me get over it.
Would you say that putting beeswax on an uncoated metal zipper is a temporary fix because it wears off quickly? Or does the beeswax keep working for a while?
The bees wax is a semi-temporary fix, it helps when your zipper is really getting stuck. When you are buying zippers (the cheapest ones are usually uncoated and problematic), so I just wanted to give everyone a solution if one had bought an uncoated zip... this is a pretty good fix tho and stays for a month (I'm guessing).

any idea about magnetic zipper and what its used for
zero ideas about magnetic zippers. Iol ... didn't even know they existed. They sound like they would break or malfunction easily tho (especially if you have any other magnetic device around that zipper).😂
