thank you so much, I made kaanji following your instructions & came out perfect. I made the second batch now but the texture of water is slimy. I don't know what happened second time. I put little less salt second time & put carrots and beet roots in the boiled water to make it soft. Please can you advise what went wrong? why it is slimy? Can i still drink it after it is fermented or should I take out the carrots / beetroots from it and throw the water? or throw everything? What shoud I do?
